Title: what is your unforgettable experience in trading?
Post by: Gemini24 on November 28, 2020, 08:39:56 AM
I am just a beginner in trading, before it all started I was just reading here and trying to get some hint on how to trade. I also wanted to learn in trading so that even if I was just at home i am also earning, i thought it's easy to do but i'm wrong. I was happy when I increased my token due to trading (buy and sell) and I tried to increase it again and bought the order again, but my token was left in the buy order and the token's value suddenly went up. I panicked and suddenly even though the value was high I still tried to buy, because I thought I might lose if I left my buy order because it was vague to be reached again because it was too high. And the result was only 1/4 of my total token left to me .. I was very sad but I couldn't do anything but to move on, and learn from my experience. The saying is very true to me that you will only learn from your own experience and not from the others advice.

No the saying I like about experience is that " a wise man learns from another man's experience. In your own, you already talking like someone that knows that the action that you wanted to take to buy high is a wrong one or that something can go wrong but you went ahead to do that instead of waiting for another time. You wanted to pick a profit by forcing the market. So forcing the market is dangerous. I learnt this and I hope you did too.

Unforgettable experience = when you lose bunch of money from trades. Trading is really mentally exhausting and I really think that only very few people could bear with that.
Sometimes even with experience you still got emotionally affected by how the market moves therefore bad decision. I lost quite huge amount of money because I was greedy and selling too late. It feels horrible and not gonna forget that experience like maybe ever.

We do have an unforgettable experience in trading. As far as I remember my experience was when I'm new in crypto trading, was selling the price of low because of panic selling. Fuds, fomo, was out of hand due to that time I'm just new due to lack of knowledge about trading plans and strategies. So in your experience you did learn from your mistakes and it is a nice input so that the next time session you will know what to apply.

My worst experience in trading was when I funded my forex live account after undergoing three(3) months training on how to trade the forex market.
Having the right strategy and set up before engaging into the market, all was going fine as planned until when I diverted from what I was been thought and started trading with pride, high lot size & without setting my stop loss 😔 all my effort vanished within an hour...😭😭

Im not a professional trader but I know how to make a trade but this is just a small amount not like the other member because each amount I valued well because it's hard to earn profit and money right now due to this pandemic outbreak. Btw get to the topic for me one of the most unforgettable experiences in trading is I won my first trade without knowing anything just predict I always buy but right now I already know every time I move still it's better to make sure you are always conscious in market movement I'm not saying you always go for FOMO but if you want why not.

When I randomly pick a coin and invest in to trade it the next day it is more on a gamble it wouldn't matter if it went up or down.
I was really stressed out that time and I invested all of my money that I hold on that trading site in a random coin.
Luckily it went up and I gain 3% from it after that I never try it again.

Everyone has it's own unforgettable experience in trading but you're right, you will learn from your mistakes and experiences. Although there are some people who teach and guide you, for me Experience is still the best learning method that we can use in our daily works specially in crypto trading . Everyone has made a mistake and that mistake will be a good lesson for us to learn.

I have some unforgettable experience in trading. If anyone ask me then I must say about my bunch of money which I had lost in trading. Because I was not matured in that time. Those losses make me strong and I came back with full swing with enough knowledge which I hadn't gathered before. My story is not so long that I had lost near $1k in a single trading and afterwards I had lost my BITTREX exchange account and still I cannot recover it. I have contacted their support but not get enough support to recover it. That was my history.

We have different experience in trading, on my part, one of my unforgettable experience is that when I do panic selling because of thinking that bitcoin could be zero and I am so afraid of losing my money but then I still lost my money because of that panic selling, I am so disappointed that time before because of not trusting the bitcoin, well we cannot turn back again those things, the good thing now is that we already know the lessons of those mistakes and it will now help us to become better in the future.

Experience is the best teacher, whether it's your own or other's experience as long as you have totally understood what went wrong and what went right including the things you need to improve as well as you need to avoid when things happen again.  Everyone has their own unforgettable experience in trading either they lose a lot or earn profit more than they are expecting.

As for me, it is also the same as with the others that when I was still new in this industry and the first time I traded I almost lost everything, it was somehow stressful at first but I just cope up by considering it as a challenge to me that I should not quit from trading and become a loser.

I think many people have gone through similar experiences so I do not really think you are going to learn much from this experiment, at least to me when reading your post seems like you do not have a money management strategy, it is completely normal to make a losing trade from time to time and it is also normal too to lose control of your emotions from time to time and lose money because of it.

But what it is completely wrong is that you lost 75% of your tokens in a single trade, basically now you need to get 300% in profits just to get even, do you have an idea of how hard is that? So it is better to not lose that money in the first place and the only way to do that is learn how to manage your money properly.

My surprise with trading includes not crypto but forex. I have never actually tried it before that time and I was surprised when I actually made a profit of $200. It was totally unexpected because I thought I would probably lose the amount but my $500 turned into $700 in a single day. But then I learnt that it was just my luck and if I continue to place orders then I might be in loss as well as I have to do really good research before making a good order.

i learned not to buy when prices are starting to increase anymore.
don't chase the price when it's going up. remember to peep the chart again because normally what goes up will always come down. you just keep monitoring the prices on coinmarketcap, there will always be a chance to buy. now, if the train really leaves you behind, take another train but hold on to what you still have.

Very strange but this is the truth.
Many traders regret some things that are sometimes unnecessary because they have not actually suffered losses. One of them regretted missing a trend opportunity. Yet if they let FOMO rule it and force themselves into the trend, they will be more at risk.

I was once lost more than $2000 in a single day with forex trading. Forex trading always use leverage to enhance our capability to earn money. But I was a novice in this activity and being greedy was my normal experience. I cant accept my loss. Therefore, martingale was my choice to earn more and more money. But with a big string of loss, my balamce disappeared.

What I have noticed about trading is that beginners do lose, they can never forget the loss they had during when they first started trading, if they gain, they would  never forget that too, which means the first trading experiences matters. After subsiquent trades, there are many things that will happen but be forgotten. But what I know traders may also never forget is when they lose high amount of bitcoin or altcoin while trading. Like me I hardly find it difficult to forget the day I lost coins to trading when I first started and of the days I lost much than I can imagine.

My unforgettable trading experience would be my first ever trade I still remember how happy and proud I was when I gain profit from it.
I remember almost spending half of my earnings to celebrate it with my friends.
By the way it was just BTC to Fiat.

In the beginning of my experience, I was even very in a hurry to trade if I saw a new coin or token and suddenly the price jumped up, there I immediately bought it in a hurry, but in a matter of minutes it was even unexpected because the price fell. very drastic and I immediately sold it because I didn't want to lose more and more, and after some time it turned out that the price of the coin went up too, so what I got was the conclusion, to keep emotional and stay relaxed, because in trading it is also very necessary to have patience and the main thing is often reading the crypto daily news that we like

Years ago, I have made a mad decision with trading the high volatility on a margin trading account that has more than 1:2000 leverage. The total time during entry/exit from trades was less than 5 minutes and I have made a $2000 profit on the first minute of trade and whipsaw has caused a $9000 loss on the third minutes. The crazy volatility was caused by the unexpected news and I didn't use limit or stop orders. The margin trading has such side effects and if you check the Bitmex liquidation bot, you can find many crazy margin traders with million-dollar balances and they love to throw away the trades in millions.

My unforgettable lesson. In trading is opening position long for btc leverage trade in the night and not setting stop loss or take profit. The next morning I received liquidation notification. Since then, I've always been setting take profit and stoploss.

My unforgettable experience in trading is when I was newbie, I don't know about trading strategy especially technical analyst but at that time I try to trade with $500 and using 30x levarage yeah I always remember it. Until just need a few time for me to get liquidated and it is horrible for me.

But, after that I was thinking that I must recover my loss whatever the way that I choose. So as I learn more about trading strategy day and night and I forget everything I just focus on it. Until I bought many books about trading strategy and greatfully I have many time because I was dismissed on my own work.

And my effort is paying me a lot, now I just focus on trade and even it is my source income now. I have no job in my real life and I haven't started to make my own bussines, I just feel comfortable to getting money on trading. I don't know when it will last, but you have to feel that trading is really fun.

Trade futures without placing a Stop Loss. This error frustrates me. Even though the funds were not large this happened to me twice. Besides that, I know emotions are very influencing, but I am still stupid, I can't control my emotions, I want to immediately return my lost capital quickly so I opened a position again and it turned out that my analysis was wrong.

There are 2 unforgettable experiences that I keep remembering and these two are negative and positive experiences. I would like to talk about the negative experience first wherein I lose big and it is amounting to $20,000. That kind of money is really huge and I got depressed because that kind of money cannot easily make in a country wherein the minimum wage is so low. I really made a huge mistake and I only blame myself because I started to trade without having knowledge and a lot of experiences. It is why I also suggest to people out there that they should make investment in their knowledge first before they put big amount of money in their trading portfolio.

The 2nd experience is a positive experience wherein I made huge amount of money. After I lost big, I find a way in order for me to regain that money and luckily I find a good trading system that help me to build my wealth and to recover all of the losses that I incurred before.

The bad experience when trading can indeed be a valuable lesson, so that you don't repeat the same mistakes.
But you learn to trade the hardway way if you have to experience a bad incident first, when you should learn from
the bad experiences of others. So you don't have to experience it, that's what I'm doing right now. Learning from
other people's bad experiences is much more rewarding.

The saying is very true to me that you will only learn from your own experience and not from the others advice.

This isn't entirely true as you can also learn form others experience. There's a popular saying that goes this way "wise traders learn from their mistakes, perfect them and turned their previous experience into a profitable one but smart traders don't wait to make this mistakes themselves, they learn from others mistakes. This way the avoid losses although that doesn't mean if they do make their mistakes they won't learn from them.

Anyways my unforgettable experience are numerous to pick one but I'll go with the most recent which has to do with DeFi trading. I bought into a newly listed coin on Binance as I intended to catch the FOMO before it kick off but unfortunately I didn't research properly to know the newly listed coin has already done impressive ROI and was due for some retracing.

I'm still yet to recover from that bad choice of mine and it was as a result of my lack of proper researching and just jumping into a project because it was getting listed on a top exchange.

This called with panic buying or selling in trading, looking for when coins have going down many people try to sell although loss much assets and don't care with other opportunity coins will grow up again, last another side many trader will be panic for buying when seeing coins have reach higher price and touch more than 50% or 100% but brave to buy without think before price suddenly will be dump. Make the experience as your lesson how to manage good management trading on the next time, you must know when have to sell or buy some coin and always remember never buy on coin have raise higher price because its not worth and make you have hold for long time.

Selling on an impulse and don`t have the patient to hold an altcoin but that`s what we do, we buy on dips and sell when the market recovers and many times I sell too early instead of waiting and gain a nice profit, I learned my lessons hard.

You ask 'experience' yes everyone has serious experience in trading, you know crypto prices are very sensitive to move and fall in unexpected ways, when expecting certainty that's not what you get.

Unforgettable moments in the world of trading are: unexpected price movements up and down became a valuable experience and lesson for me, where I have to train for patience and thoroughness in trading.
Careless, greedy, will cost us something.

Panicking is what we should avoid especially if we want to protect our capital in trading, it is all about having self-confidence and knowledge. Those two are important and it is connected to each other wherein if you do not have any one of them then you will not overcome the panicking wherein it can affect your trading performance. There is panic that is happening if you do not know what you are doing and it is the reason why experience is important because having a lot of experiences can help us to have self-confidence to execute our plan. Pressure in trading is normal but we can handle it if we have skills and also knowledge to determine what kind of strategy that we should use. I remembered before that I keep panicking but the good thing is I managed to overcome it because I have determination to learn about new things in trading.

If emotions are getting the better of you every time knowing the situation then you should avoid trading and start working on self discipline and once you have developed control over your emotions and actions more importantly then you can trade with much more authority. Not using stop loss is not the worst mistake because it is the tactical part of trading and learning so that can be corrected but if you are trading emotionally it is nothing but gambling.

My worst experience was recently when I exchanged a big amount of XRP into BTC when market was growing for BTC and when I came back after a few days and saw the price of XRP I was onto my haunches shattered and can't realize what I have done.

Your problem is that you are not experienced enough to handle your fomo mentality. I have had it once in my life and it cost me nearly $ 2,000 when I was always optimistic because the people in the Telegram community were always talking loud the moon soon. It was then that I realized it was a scam project and the price was quickly sold off.
Since that big loss of money I have held back my greed and since then I have traded better. Better yet, learn about Dow Theory, which will give you a better understanding of how any financial market works.

I remember back in the day when I have never used any trading bot at all, there was one that sold for not that much money, plus it also had the option of "bring two people and get yours free" as well, but I never used one and didn't know how they worked. So, I talked with the owner for a while and he explained to me what the bot did and how I could manually do it as well, wasn't really that complicated... to him :D.

I learned what he thought me that day and he said go try it manually, you do not even have to buy it, just find when the bot should buy and write the numbers down, and check it when it should sell, according to how the bot works and I did just that.

However as it turns out, I learned it reverse, so whenever I found a coin that it should buy, it dropped right away and it sold when it was lower and right about to go up :D. Turns out I had to do reverse but for a week I found perfect coins to not buy :D.

The moment I can't forget in trading is buying coins when the market HYPE...
in Q1 2018 then I bought Bitcoin Gold at a price of $ 350 and at that time the crypto market was very high, then soon the price of Bitcoin gold fell to $ 200 then $ 100 and because I was worried that the price would continue to fall, I cut loss at the price of $ 60 / BTG. really a big loss for me as a newbie at that time.
That must have hurt, I have several of bad experiences where I lost a lot of money but the good thing was that I never invested too much into a single coin and hence did not have a particular regret story.

I regret not buying when price went down to 3-4k but that can't be any kind of unforgettable story instead more like a missed chance but honestly I was sure that the price will jump back and that hurts me the most why I didn't trust my instincts and purchased big amount.

I have lots of regret story with altcoins like flux.fund is one project I remember I spent time and money with and they turned out to be a joke.

All of us didnt really anticipate when bitcoin was still in 3k price and same as yours where my gut and instinct tells me to buy but my brain and my fear do able to control me that bitcoin might be dying on that
time which did really stop me on buying or doing such act and now i did really have some regret but i cant really blame off myself because when emotion do sets in then its really hard to control.
For my altcoin investment then there are lots of scenarios or events where i do regret when it comes to missed opportunity to sell because i did decide to held up even longer for the believe that
i might able to get more profits but all it turns out to be opposite thats why i did really not tend to go back with altcoin investment except for those top altcoins that we do have recently.

Surely all of us in here have experienced many ups and downs which includes failures through trials and success that brought us confidence to continue our trading journey. What is the unforgettable experience I have in trading is of course the part of learning process for I have been here for quite a long period of time and what I can say is that of course I have no other people to ask with when it comes to trading and have no friends to be with to get along with my journey at first so everything was a risky exploration and learning for me when I am first starting my trading journey. I have experience success and some failures in this field which I am continuously learning and applying all that I have experienced in the past so I can deal with any possible circumstances that trading can bring to me. For me the unforgettable moment is the beginning of my trading journey.

Selling on an impulse and don`t have the patient to hold an altcoin but that`s what we do, we buy on dips and sell when the market recovers and many times I sell too early instead of waiting and gain a nice profit, I learned my lessons hard.
Even some who are already pro in trading sometimes fails to analyse it and  experience some tradi g flaws or when they were starting there are sure many amount need to be at stake to be able to really learn how to trade. It can be worth doing if werl are able to do trading on our own now.

When I’m about to lose all my capital because of mistake on plotting my trading strategies and I’m totally lost that time, this is mu work trading experience so far. We all have bad experience in trading because that is part of the game and if you did not learn from that mistake, then you will continue to loose money. Trading is too risky, expect a more volatile journey especially trading in crypto market.

My experience in trading is that I got a 70% price up in just 2 hours. This really makes me happy, because I get profit quickly in just 2 hours. and the cycle of increasing prices is very fast .. I want to repeat that fun moment

I have journals of my past trades so I remembered ever important experiences in my trading career. I'm really happy that I'm now in this phase wherein I can say that I'm now profitable trader because I finally understand the concepts in trading. My most unforgettable experience is when I'm so down because of my consecutive losses wherein there is a point in my life where I want to quit in trading but luckily I find a good trading system that helps me to regain all of my losses and to become a profitable trader.

I thought that trading is so risky but now it is not because I finally know how to lessen the risks and it is by having a lot of experiences and also knowledge about trading. Do not expect that you can become good in the beginning of your trading career because for sure you will face a lot of challenges in life.

I remember those times when I was a newbie in trading, too.

My brother is my mentor, and he used to teach me not personally because we are far away from each other. And it's a struggle for  a newbie to learn every word via pm only. My first liquidation was of course my unforgetabble moment. I don't have any idea about stop loss back then, i used 50x to 100x leverage which quickly liquidated my entries. And to think I do not have any ideas before about money balancing which ate up my whole fund.

But, there's always a mistakes and a first time experienced for everyone. Which of course may lead us for a better trading. Without anyone's idea and techniques combined with our own experience, we can not definitely learn.

There are a lot of memorable experiences but there is one I can't forget.

It is not directly trading but my Mom heard that I am investing and trading Bitcoin. That is the time that news reported that cryptocurrencies are being used as a scam by some people and they thought I will be scammed if I continue. Right now I send them some of my fiats which I got from selling my Bitcoin because I want to make them feel that they are wrong. They already told their sorry and I do understand their part since they still don't have that knowledge about cryptocurrencies still, I can't forget that since that is a proof of my profits I am getting from trading and also investing.

Unforgettable experience can be said based on huge profit or huge lose in trading. In my trading history, I will never forget that moment whenever I got a huge protit from Telcoin. I have got almost $2k profit from a single trade. So this was unforgettable experience from me because I was just beginner at that moment.

I think it is not bad to get advice from others yeah they maybe fraud or something but not all peoples are like that. The tip here is that when you got advice don't just follow or believe through with it but rather verify and make a few research if it is legitimate or not. Remember no man is an island, your common knowledge is not sufficient enough so don't be afraid to ask for a bit of advice.

So this one time, I was trading US commodities.
I was up $9,000 for a position I had carried for 3 days.
I booked profits on this trade and moved to another position. This was 2017 and by far the max profits I had made so far in a day or 2.

The other position I took started going against me, I averaged 2 twice at 2 different points without a stop loss.

Ended up exiting that position at a loss of $28,000 and a total loss of $32,000.

What could have been my biggest day in trading turned out to be one of the worst days. But it was a lesson well learnt!

Always have a backup and know that you may be wrong! Prepare for it!

ummm.. I have many histories of losing a big amount during trading which is also unforgettable. But I think I should mark my first trade as the more unforgettable trade in my life. So it was a few years ago when I try to do a simple trade on cryptopia (now closed). I don't understand how to trade that time. but with the help of one admin, I able to start it. but the funny thing is I deposited a very little amount which was lower than the withdrawal fee of btc.  :) And I could not withdraw the BTC after exchanging the altcoin.

Honestly I have lived through the 2017 and that should be good enough for anyone. I was already involved in crypto long before that, but from stat of 2017 to end of 2017 it was totally different, we didn't had this many news, I mean sure there were some but nothing huge and we are in a pandemic right now so this year makes more sense, but that 2017 was something out of magical book.

I have seen so many ups that year that everything reached from insanely low numbers to something stupid. Let me explain it this way, by the start of that year btc was 700 dollars, by the end of it ETHEREUM was double that amount, I am not even talking about btc, I am saying eth was double the price of btc at the start. That was something surreal and I really hope we would have a year like that again.

It's unforgettable experience when you buy something at very low price and you sell it later (days or months, a year) and you make a crazy high profit! It's unforgettable when you risk and buy with more money than usual and you're aiming just 10-20% profit, and it comes after a day or two, and you make +50%, a lot more than you thought you will.
Of course big loses are unforgettable too, but I don't like to think too much about that side of the trading! Shit happens and we need to learn to trade somehow, and to lose some money along the way!

Trading crypto is always crazy! From recently I started to have fun with some trading competitions! It's like for a week (more or less, depending on competition rules, it's usually around a week) you just watch that numbers, trying to catch low buying and sell at higher, sometimes even with loss if you don't have enough coins to compete with whales! But it's fun, and require a lot of time creating  buy/sell orders to wager more. If you dare in some profit after all that trading it's great!

My unforgettable lesson. In trading is opening position long for btc leverage trade in the night and not setting stop loss or take profit. The next morning I received liquidation notification. Since then, I've always been setting take profit and stoploss.

Trading always accompanied by risk, without proper knowledge with the style of trading that you are performing the outcomes mostly unfavorable

to your position, it's annoying when you see that your investment disappeared, it's your hard earn money, mistakes though can be use as a good

learning tools to have a much better judgement,.

I have had many unforgettable trading experiences, one of which was buying Bitcoin at its peak in 2017. Because that year I was
still a beginner and my trading skills were still poor, I ended up FOMO and bought Bitcoin at a price of $ 18,000. What made me
lose quite a lot in 2018, because I am a beginner so I didn't use the stop-loss feature at that time. Finally, my capital ran out,
this is an unforgettable trading experience for me until now.

sometimes many people get caught up in other people's advice. we think it is better to walk on one's own from experience than to have to follow the words of others, as this might fall into a pit of loss. so the advice of people make motivation and experience we apply in trading. because trading is full of mystery we will not know our future fate

Great beginners experience and don't worry because many of us here had the same experience and trust me that will teach you a lesson and wont ever make the same mistake.

Now you will less panicking and also Will be contented in small profit per trade but safer.

Mine is not far from yours but it is Bitcoin that i Did not maintain the holding instead being afraid of early dump,I sold before it even reach the ATH.

But anyway those serves as to become new and more functional in our decisions.

What an unforgetgable moment. Sadly, i dont remember my first time trading. I only remember that i seriously traded on bittrex exchange during 2016-2017 and earned huge profit. However, i did not understand the fundamental of trading. The profit I earned came from the superior hype which created an unstopable uptrend.

Now, after losing money when the uptrend over, i start from scratch and i believe that i am capable of learning trading in a year. Being able to trade will definitely give me a huge amount of money over time

Risking few of my spare ETH to day trade.
It was my first time day trading and I was learning in Youtube on newbie day trading tutorial in Binance. It was a rough experience because I didn't earn anything, well it's a newbie experience but was memorable as heck.
I wouldn't say trading but one of my experiences as well was forgetting to sell my AIONs that was in my MEW back then.

I just remembered the time when I invested into some miner coin, can't remember the name right now but these were some people who sold some tokens, it wasn't even blockchain based or anything, like it was literally just server side on their website lol, and you paid them regular fiat money and they sold you their token and in return you made a share of the mining profits.

Upside is, it was passive income without working, and the more money you made, the more you could use it to buy more tokens, plus they were capable of growing their hash rate the more people invested. Downside was... they took the money and left with it :D. It was so obvious that it was a ponzi scheme dressed as a cloud mining operation, I don't know why I fell for it, normally I am not someone who believes in these things.

I actually stopped listening and following advice from market because honestly most of the articles on the web are paid and sponsored and telegram we all know how rubbish it is to even believe someone there.

There are various tokens which I purchased in past because everyone was hyping them and some even the big guys like John Mcafee was promoting but they all turned out to be pure scam and the funniest thing is we cannot do anything despite knowing their names and profiles because they are not responsible for prices, they say. They are only responsible for the product which they made, no matter how bad it is.

I was investing on the wrong exchanges.  Maybe overly trusting friends isn't good either.  we must keep considering or research the coins and the exchanges.  And the most important thing in trading is not to be greedy when you want to take profit.  not all can match expectations.  we must have a target for SL.  as long as it can be profitable, please take your profit.  Since the market is currently very volatile, it is unpredictable to reach the desired target.

Experience, they say, is the best teacher but I so much believe it should be experience of others and not mine. That way I know what not to do.
I am sure every successful trader out there have experienced losing out on trades on several occasions. It is, however, imperative that one not only learn from one's mistakes and experiences but from other's especially.
When you learn from other's mistakes and experiences, you're are less like to make them yourself and as such reducing your losses.
My unforgettable experience in trading, though fortunate, was when I made quite a lot of money, about $1500 in a trade in less than an hour

It made me stressed seeing my asset turn out invaluable until now, and I am hoping that altcoins will soon recover. My trading experiences was indeed a colorful days that turns into disappointing moments when bearish market really pulled over all the assets I had.

Losing funds because of only following the free signal from the group. This is absolutely a mistake because this was my last experience of trading crypto. This can be a very good lesson where before trading, we must learn first about how to be a good trader, learning about the graphic and chart, and also market volatility and liquidity. All information in the market will be worthy to learn because we really need it to analyze. In this case, we can also see how the next way of trading. This is not only about buy and sell, short or long, but it is about predicting and analyzing the market. It is enough to lose that money like that

I can not forget what happened recently to me, I was able to learn margin trading, I traded litecoin immediately, I sent 125 USD to my margin account, and used it to borrow $1250 worth of litecoin. Litecoin was at $64 at that time, the liquidity price was at $60. Litecoin falled not long after, it decreased to $58 and my fund was liquidated. But after the price fall to $58, the $90 rally of litecoin started, what could have turned into profit for me.

That indeed is a painful experience. To my opinion margin trading can be profitable but equally risky and in your case the market dynamic has messed up your plan entirely. Interestingly though this move should have been accounted for initially - at least you learnt a lesson the hard way.

What an experience you had on that litecoin dropping but that is also the way margin trade can be a disadvantage to your trade. It falls on you when the price drop then you see how you have made your trade a trap to fall. Margin trade is risky anyway, becarefull for next time.

Honestly if you have been in crypto world for a long time, everyone has multiple stories at least, from very old times when I forgot my bitcoin wallet and moved on and when came back couldn't find it, to times when I was capable of mining bitcoin with a simple laptop, to now to these days where I was lucky to have some bitcoin during 19.2k period a few days ago before the drop and sold it, and price dropped AND I got some more recently and increased over ATH again and sold it and dropped right away right afterwards (I feel blessed) we had millions.

However one thing is certain, whatever you had so far, would be nothing soon when something even bigger happens. Crypto keeps growing bigger and bigger and our moves and experiences grows bigger and bigger as well.

There are several unforgetable trading experience if you trade often; it takes great skill to identify what went wrong and proffer solution to it and prevent occurrence; The most experience traders have (i assume) is the refusal to trade. Time and time again traders research and have a price set for token; but they store up their capital and refuse to trade; when the market hits and proves their analysis correct; thenn they say i should have picked this e.t.c

For me, i take refusal to pick a good trade option which comes out correctly is more unforgettable than a trade loss.

Unforgettable experience i had during my trading is when others traders where busy selling their coins in the market to make a good profit, why me where still thinking market will still increase more than this, for me to trade my coins to make more than others traders in the market that later caused me a big loss to me that year. Since then I trade base on experience and information i got from the platform which is really helping me to make a reliable income from my trade. After all the loss I experienced that year, it hard me to recover all my lost which really make  me not to cope very well through out the year because what I experienced in the market.
Yes, I have had the same situation with you. I lost my first $ 3k earned from bounty campaigns in just 3 days. I heard my best friend's invitation that WPP will soon increase to $ 10 because the business was calling close to $ 60m at that time.
I just believe in the money they raised without further analysis, I blindly invested without understanding the project and did not bother to use the stop loss. The token is now over 1000 times the price of the ICO and I have lost all my money.
We are in the same situation and this is a really big lesson in our lives. But don't give up, man, we need to keep going and correct our mistakes. :)

It's not an unforgettable trading experience but everyone can relate to this:

Whenever I sell, the price goes up. And I'm sure that's the same experience with others. There's no solution to this but to think that you've gotten enough profit during that selling moment.

I probably will not forget this very experience of mine a year. I was a beginner then, trying to do some tricks on Binance. The logic I discovered was the anytime btc is coming down, I buy usdt which is always fixed and mostly doesn't fall like other coins. And when btc go down deeper, I buy BTC back. And the value of the Bitcoin would has increased in volume. I was doing that for almost a month. And on this fateful day. I bought usdt as usual and I slept off cause it was during the night. When u woke up, I didn't even check the current level of BTC. I just bought the btc back. Not knowing that BTC has increased and buying it back at the very time will reduce the amount of btc that I had before. What I lost that very night was around $35 worth of BTC. Since then I don't even try to do that again.
I can't forget that experience forever.

My most unforgettable experience in trading is when I was a beginner that I didn't know what to do and how I would gain profit in trading; that is why I always follow my friend, who is also a crypto trader, whenever he buys and sells cryptocurrencies that I also follow the same amount he trades. Lucky for us, we always make a successful trade, but I still didn't learn anything, LOL. It is why I started to let him teach me back then and explain to me everything how we could gain profit.

I can't forget when when I did not trade all my coins when it reach it's all time high. I just trade 70% of my coin and I hold the remaining till now. But it's value now is just $.02. I regret not selling it when it's price is at $5.

Many experience during trading still unforgettable when selling coin early then few days later price up more than 100%, some time I buy coin when reach higher price and then drop again, this bad moment when I entry with new coin price down but when I sell coin raise to higher price. I think this give us with many lesson how to keep emotion when trading and never take risk to buy new coin have raise to higher price like last day when SFI raise more than 100% up many investor try to buy on higher price and now back down.

My most unforgettable moment was in 2013 when I started trading bitcoin.Back then arbitrage was way more easier to pull.
I made on arbitrage from one exchange to another with some random coin and I made 0.8 BTC in 10 minutes.

It's really fun, even now looking for a profit of 0.001 BTC is a difficult thing for me. It's great to be you who can get to know BTC earlier. Just look at today it has increased several times and reached the highest price. If you trade and hold it, today you are already rich.

unforgettable? certainly lost a lot of money when trading, that's something I can't forget, because $ 500 was lost.
Of course this is my worst experience, it's better to trade on the spot market than leverage

Unforgettable?

Buy high Sell low.  :D
Common mistake but you would  really able to learn up basing into your experience but to believe that this had been experience by most traders or investors out there.
Where we do able to buy on high price and sell it on lower when we do feel that panic inside.

Dealing with moving price will really be giving out that kind of experience but with persistence and patience, you will able to handle it out later on.

My unforgettable experience in trading was the day I lose all my money simply because I slept off while trading, for like me 2 months I couldn't forgive myself because it was a huge amount of money. As we all know that we learn from mistakes is either the mistakes of Other or your own mistakes. I have learnt from my mistake.

Experienced make us more matured in calling every position that we take, that particular event in life working inside trading is common to all of us, if not all we can say most of us do experienced such things.

We buy or we can say we've been move by fomo and fud leaving us empty handed or lose most our money, but the moment you overcome that fear will be the beginning of your sweet journey toward success. You have to experienced things to learn deeper and to keep your eagerness to succeed to flow out inside you.

My most unforgettable experience in my trading life is back when I tried to arbitrage from 2 different exchange just to find out that the other exchange is using an old chain of the coin and the other one is using the new chain so I can't really find a way to profit and ADZ price goes dump and I lost like around  $2k at that trade lol really big mistake.

Everyone has the same type of story, either not getting in earlier when they could and were here but decided not to or they bought like people imagined they should have but sold too early. Which goes to show you that first type of people could have been second type of people as well. I could have bought $100k bitcoins at 1 cent each if I knew it right? Even if I did that, I would have probably sold at one dollar, or few dollars at most, I would have waited until $20k price was reached or more.

The amount of profit I would have made would have been too much for me to ignore. This is why do not see yourself as someone who missed an opportunity if you didn't buy earlier, and do not be upset that you sold too early neither, just be happy with whatever you have accomplished.

Each of us surely has an unforgettable experience in trading and winning or losing a massive amount can be considered an unforgettable moment. But I think the unforgettable moment is the way you gather the outcome. I'm not that expert in trading but I have an unexpected loss that I experienced. I have accidentally fallen asleep while I was on futures trading and this happened without setting up a stop-loss. I got liquidated and when I wake up it feels very bad. This is a lesson that I won't be forgotten, The loss hits me hard.

The jerk from this forum who sent me a fake gift card number in trade for 1 btc back when it was worth about $20. Thanks, creeper! I really needed groceries then because I had been laid off of my job. Now I could really use 1 bitcoin to get a car and this would have been the perfect moment. I hope he enjoyed it in a bad way. I think I'll write a horror story about him.

trading is a lot of trouble, a lot of bad experiences, it's a loss,
a loss makes me really frustrated, but I realize that this is part of trading, and we have to accept it.
Trading process is easier but you can keep making profits all the time if you don't have much knowledge about crypto trading. Yes accepting your losses is really a good thing but don't stop there, you need to start learning from your mistakes which is going to make you a better person in crypto trading which will eventually pave the way to make money once you realize the strategies involved with it.
Still not forget when earn profit from trading at the first time because I think look easy how to earn money with trading, but right now many not good coin after exchange is not filter which one coin have listed or not, just think with fees for listing and not give guarantee for developer keep loyal with their coin. Maybe need extra working when trading on exchange market and try to buy which one coin look have chance to grow up, maybe we loss many chance when buy coin always dump and pump after selling, so correct your way when you try to buy some coin before late and always loss.

I don't know but, I suddenly started feeling that, it's always going to be about the loses more than the profits for the unforgettable trading experiences and it's awful why or how I feel this way.
Is it a psychology thing, like your loses hurts and stick with you in contrast to the actual profits which brings joy!

Anyway, my trading experience centered on a particular day I was trading and I believed my analysis was on point so, failed to guide my trade with a stop loss or take profit, my confidence was pretty much up and suddenly, ran out of data. Prior experience as at then with my little confidence gave me far two much comfort so, I didn't subscribe to a data plan immediately but paused for a few hours and before I could get back online, I was damaged more than I had expected and it surely turned my emotions up.

Lesson: never be too confident about your trading strategy or analysis. Stop loss is a necessity.

Exchanging is actually intellectually debilitating and I truly imagine that without a doubt, not many individuals could endure with that. Now and again even with experience you actually got sincerely influenced by how the market moves along these lines awful choice. I figure I should stamp my first exchange as the more remarkable exchange my life.

Mine would be the massive dumps I experienced as newbie in Crypto trading. I probably thought the market won't recover. I later realize that dumps like that (or extreme price volatility) were normal occurrence in Crypto. I then adjusted my risk by trading with what I could afford to risk till I started making fairly consistent profits.

My own was a token I bought back then to make a double of my investment and I saw the value dropping and I didn't cut my loss. After a while the token value began to reduce by half at every time it dumped till it went to very low price. I was baffled and made further findings and saw that the team was the one dumping their tokens. I learnt a great lesson to never buy a token that has only one market or trading in on my one exchange.

I think a lot of unforgettable experiences has happened in the past 6 months or so, people have seen from 10k levels to 24k+ levels in the last 6 months, hell if we take it from 9 or so months ago, we have seen under 4k and over 24k, that is over 6x increase in just one year in the biggest coin.

I can't believe the amount of increases we had inside this year, I don't know how many people bought from the bottom and still hold today, I am sure there must be some, not the majority but more than we assume, people think only a handful of people hold that kind of money but I know that there are tons more. However this is going to obviously take a bit more time before we could hear from them, they will however share it over the next few years, especially when they get out because most of them are still holders, if they sold they probably already talked about it.

I am also a victim of greed. I never sell my coins because i thought the price will keep on surging. But then the price went dump suddenly and lose my expected profits. Experience is really the best teacher not just in trading but in all aspects of investment.

Lesson learned.

This is why many projects are not good to invest in. Just because they are offering it on the sale and they have good promises, that's not an assurance that you should invest in it.

I've seen many times that there were complaints of investors that their tokens were dropping mainly because of the devs first dropping it and selling it for their own benefit. It is very unethical that they take advantage of their investors when their main purpose and plan is to dump it all at once.
