After hitting 19.5k $, Bitcoin suddenly dumped below 17k instead of targeting for 20k $. Do you think guys will Bitcoin reach 20k $ in 2021? Or will it stay below 17k $ like as always?

Not even the so called experts have been able to currently speculated the price of Bitcoin from inception, maybe the price of Bitcoin will go way downward than what we see or move upwards from where we are right now. Honestly, the recent dump in Bitcoin price and fast recovery should be a good signal for everyone in the community not see Bitcoin ways we see it yesterday becasue it has adopt a new approach in term of it price. 2021 will be  great year in cryptocurrency from the look of things right now, let keep hope alive as the future can't be known.

I think it can still happen, but now is a turning point if we consider the past. Bitcoin is a bit down already, and it can go for stabilization somewhere around $15k-$16k; it might go up again after this correction and reach $20k even before the end of 2020; it might go down and down, like it did the previous time back in 2018. I think the last option is most likely because the price went up too fast and surely many people are still willing to cash out. If some news hits the media (something negative, like it was with South Korean exchanges and regulation issues in 2018), it can easily trigger panic selling. And after panic selling, we might have another few years without the price above $15k.

You are asking a question to which there is no precise answer, but we can only speculate what will happen taking into account what happened in the past, and what is happening today. I personally think (and this is no financial advice) that the chances that BTC will reach $20k over the next year are very realistic and that everything else would be a really big surprise.

What happened at the moment with the price is only a small correction (small compared to the overall growth in the last 30-60 days), and for most something that was expected. For me, anything above $15k is a great success for this year, which is more than challenging if we just look back 6-7 months when it seemed that the entire market was falling into a huge black hole from which it would not be so easy to get out.

If we can check the current price of bitcoin, the bull back that happened recently are not so strong and if later bitcoin is not able to break the $16600 support, there could be more chances that it will rise further, but we should know that if bitcoin get to $19000, there will possibly be strong support at the price, a support that could drive bitcoin up to all time high. This could still happen this year, but more likely bitcoin will break $20000 next year.

Don't lose hope because it's part of the process that bitcoin will decreased the value. This year probably is still possible for the bitcoin to hit the price of $20k because yes the price now is $17k and only $3k is needed to reach of what we want.

In the year 2021 it will grow more the value of the bitcoin not only $20k but more than of that price . But if people panic and start selling don't expect the price will hit again the $20k and I hope this time everyone will be united.

It seems that you are quite pessimistic about the price of Bitcoin in the years to come. To me, Bitcoin will soon surpass ATH in 2020 and will make a new peak in 2021. I think there is a good chance that Bitcoin will exceed $ 20,000 in 2021. It has to do with inflation expectations, among other things. As always? you mean bitcoin has always been at the bottom price of your expectation? You have to appreciate that with all of those skyrockets, you are looking at it as a mere pump. I want to give you some encouragement and say that it's possible to reach $20k by the end of this year but, at the same time I also want to tell you that we don't hold the prices and we actually have no idea if it will. What's best you can do is to believe and hold on it.

Still more than a month left of this year. Bitcoin reached above 19k usd few days ago and now the price having correction. There is high chance that bitcoin will cross 20k dollar when this circle will over. But no one can give any surety about bitcoin price movement. If bitcoin don't reach 20k in this year, probably we will see it in 2021.

Bitcoin had rough years after the dump that occured after the last highest pump but it soon recovered just within the year. Obviously, there's a possibility that it will occur once again so make sure you handle your holdings wisely. There's a possibility bitcoin will once again reach 20k dollars or higher but we should also stay lowkey and be aware that it might remain below 17k dollars, just stay careful with your investments and holdings.

I think sometime in 4-5months ago we also saw that kind of pull back when price hit around 12,000 and went back to 10,000 and later dropped to 8,000 and back to 10,000 before climbing above 12,000 to achieve the current bull. The same can repeat for price to start appreciating again to go back to 19,000 . I don't know if 20,000 is possible this year because we have only a month to run.

Bitcoin has a 90% chance to reach $20k by the end of this year, no doubt about it.
Although it was corrected after failed to break the resistance level at $19,5k and fall to $16k but it seems slowly recover at the moment, probably gain the momentum to push to the barrier once again, hopefully could reach $18k tomorrow.

Ahhh, I can only say anything can happen because no one in the globe can predict the nature of crypto currency. Predictions are a kind of satisfaction and Ray of hope to me, as far as I know BTC pumps once in three years like it is happening now also the price of BTC goes down after January had become common so I am not sure about next year.

Yes, the price of bitcoin this year was found low around $4000. From that what the price at present is very big. For the same it has took months. In between after reaching high price it dropped low as mentioned above. I find the ongoing market changes to be the same, now once again it has started to grow after price drop. As we've got one more month, reaching $20k isn't a big deal.

This is just a shakeout. And since the market has been ranging the last two days (rather than selling off) I'm not even confident it'll get any deeper yet. Need to see how price reacts to the $18K area. A stiff rejection in the 0.5-0.618 retracement area off that resistance could trigger another a leg lower. If on the other hand we keep floating up through the $18,000s then I'm inclined to think this was just a short-lived bear trap.

Bitcoin is definitely going to reach a new ATH by 2021. This year is still possible too.

Well, I am still positive that the new ATH will be reached anytime soon, -- it could be within this year around the middle of December. The dump is a small correction but I think it will only be for a short period that it will pump again because of new investors coming in. Don't be subjected to ^{[FOMO or FUD]} and started panic selling for it will really be odd for us to hit the new ATH just be calm, relax and keep your investments and holdings for a little longer and we will all gain the fruit of our efforts really soon for patience is a virtue and most likely rewarding.

The current price is above $17k if this will continue it possible to reach an all time high probably next year. All is possible in the market because of the volatility. When their is a correction it will bounce so we have to be patient as I'm optimistic that in any time it could reach an all time high again.

Exactly because people are focusing too much on "$20k" we are not going to surpass it that easily. It is 2017 all over again with $1200. I expected the price to get close then come down like this and I expect more volatility from $19k to $21k for a couple of months (meaning we can go to $21k and then come back to $19k) then go up in $20k+ range and never come back down again by which time the bigger rallies will start (again similar to 2017).

Bitcoin will definitely repeatedly go up and down over and over again, just like what happened in the year 2017 due to its volatility. But I still think that bitcoin's price will reach its $20,000 price again next year 2021 because it already hits the $19,000 mark, then it suddenly goes down below $17,000, and now it started to go back up again. There is a saying that once you get burned, you become quite cautious even when there is no need for it. We are in 2020 and it looks like bitcoin will hit $20,000 anytime soon.

I'm looking at btc movement now, I already consider this as a new ATH because it's so close that we don't want to blink to see how bitcoin rise to $20,000.
still at over $19k now but very close to reality of having a new ATH.

This tells nothing is impossible with bitcoin, it could make a new ATH anytime it want.

I did not expect the price to rally this fast but it is hard to foresee how the market will react, even though we had a correction and the market went down the price has rallied back and now the price has already touched the all time high valuation as the current valuation is $19738 and increasing and we might touch the magical $20k for the first time in the next few hours if it keeps on increasing like this.

I stopped predicting on my own, it's really hard just when you thought things are looking great in the market, suddenly we see a big drop, there's always a halt in the momentum, although I do not rule out the possibility that this year will end with another all time high, that ill be the market's achievement if we can have another all time high this year.

Yeah, a small pump will make the price touch $20000. This time the growth happens for sure. The price correction have taken place very quick this time. Everyone are with the hope of $20k, but the price drop made people think of bitcoin reaching the same by the year end or by 2021. More incoming of investments will make $20k easier. The last quarter of the year have brought in more investments into the network which is the major reason for the price pumping.

Well, now as you can tell it goes back at the $19k USD mark again. Honestly, when the time I saw it drops back at the $17k USD mark I thought the run was over. A thought sprung to my mind that this might be the correction but I was totally wrong. Now that Bitcoin recovers that quickly thereby I conclude that there's a high chance that we could pass the $20k USD and set a new ATH before the year ends. It is still being said that the fluctuation is still continuing where bitcoin is back below $ 19k but still for me this won't be too big to think about only a correction where bitcoin will settle at the end of this year, I always have grief where I want to reach a new ATH soon How will it happen whether this will survive or progress because it has crossed the limit so that what is fully expected is the year 2021 where there is a lot of speculation about the year of cryptocurrency.

I doubt that we are going to see this end anytime soon, it looks like we may need to just let things calm down a bit before we try to go up again. Obviously speaking there is a resistance at around $20k and breaking over it will be very very difficult. However when we can actually manage to do it, it is going to be something that will skyrocket instead and will definitely go up a lot.

For example, if we can stay at around $20k without dropping too much (stay above $17-18k range) and still not break over $21-21k range, that could end up with us reaching to a level where we would probably be $30k+ in few months. Not because it is definitely going there, but usually when the price gets stuck for a very long time without going up or down for a long time, it ends up with going up eventually with a very fast speed.

The market price of cryptos are not stable due to the nature of volatility. Its market value won't stay that long to a particular price point because it does change from time to time. Its market value is really close to its ATH and chances are becoming higher to be able to breathe ATH this year and to have another history. But things for next year is something to be more determined because a year is a long period of time and inconsistencies would be a factor if we would be speculating for a future market price. Bottomline is that, 2021 could be a better or worse year, we just don't know.

Due to the current bullish trend in the market, it would be possible for the BTC to reach $20k at the end of December. this moment is almost the same as a few months ago (when Bitcoin had a hard time breaking the $10k wall).  at that point, the Bitcoin price fell again when it almost touched $10k but after several waves, the $10k wall finally collapsed too.  I'm pretty sure Bitcoin will touch $20k (even more) in Q3 of this December..

I love to know how Bitcoin would move this month since it's considered as the most spending days in crypto market. I wonder if it would really move higher than $20k before it would drop back to the support level. I think there is a very strong possibility that we are going to see that price during the next days or weeks and we won't have to wait until 2021 to see that barrier broken, what we do not know is how high the price will go from now on because after we leave behind that level we will be in completely new territory for bitcoin and any other cryptocurrency, I tend to believe that a price of 50k is a real possibility next year but when it comes to bitcoin you never know as most of the time my predictions have been wrong.

The decline is reasonable because it does not mean that the decline in bitcoin price is not able to recover quickly, if it is just a normal correction then at least the price of bitcoin will hit 20k before even entering 2021. When there is an increase it will always be accompanied by a decrease and vice versa, this is the trend is where the season will come, I'm just confident in the end of 2020 even though it's only a moment away but bitcoin price is likely to hit 20k or even higher until it reaches its peak in 2021 if there is a bull run.

The decline that we saw to 17k was reasonable and in fact was way smaller than what I thought we would see taking into account the volatility and the fast growth we experimented during the last months, the fact the drop was small tells me there is still a lot of buying pressure in the market and that the bulls are not going to let go that easily, but it is going to be interesting to see what happens next, the resistance at the 20k level is proving to be formidable and if we can get rid of the bears selling at that level the price of bitcoin will go up really quickly.

I am not bitcoin investor but I support for bitcoin reach to higher price because I have many altcoin assets waiting for with bitcoin price, when bitcoin have good news to grow higher price will take chance for altcoin back to higher price, but if bitcoin failed raise above $20k maybe I am waiting long time with my altcoin assets holding and take long moment back again to higher price, maybe if bitcoin reach to higher price many investor get benefit with bitcoin price and try to earn much profit..

If I get it right you are hoping for someone to use your coin assets as diversions, one bitcoin rallied that high those early birds will cash out and buy alts to earned more expecting that alts party will happened after.

But, you also needs to consider the numbers of alts and the trends that taking place, with a lots of competitions it's really hard to expect unless you are holding top 10-20 crypto assets.

If you look at all the markets you can see that there is a small dump across all of them. This is part of a correction and I'm positive that it won't last longer than 1-2 days.

I think the stabilisation following this small correction will be around 17-19K and I think the attempt to reach over 20K is still in sight. Christmas rush is approaching and with restrictions in place people will turn to other ways of investing including crypto.

Bitcoin might remain within the 20k for this year but I am expecting a big move in the year 2021 that is yet to happen in any bull run. A lot of FOMO will happen in the coming year and I am expecting 36k BTC price in the first quarter of the year 2021.

No prediction is 100% accurate. Only way to prove me wrong is for it to go up and break 20k honestly. Nobody ever know what the price doing, until now vest performing asset what's makes me think positive. It is free market driven. Therefore anything is possible.

While this is what some try to Believe though i know this is reverse meaning for others don't get frustrated if 2020 fails to Make that 20,000 Breaking yet We are holding to what we are seeing and that is Bitcoin is still confident this year and we have 3 weeks to go and that is a long time since bitcoin took that almost 5 thousand dollars run in just 2 weeks.
So what more now that Investors from outside is waiting for timing  and will make a drop any moment.
Never help the fall keep the Holding and set you Mind in how much value you will need to Sell either growing or when falling.

Everybody thought that Bitcoin is going to set to another all time high but unfortunately it did not we could be celebrating when the all time high was hit unfortunately we will have to delay our cerebration maybe next year, that is the definite time that we are going to have another all tiem high and another celebration.

In effect its hit 20k, dont go for numbers being absolutely dead on.    Just ask generally if the move filled the idea overall and when you consider the variation across the world its not worth waiting for the last 500 dollars and probably thats why it never got to 20k as its bringing too much consensus as a conclusion to the bull run.    Markets can be ironic and move just enough to put you off while being fairly similar overall, draw conclusions with a crayon.

We will have to wait and see, the growth of bitcoin is now facing major resistance and it has been losing ground during the last days, while this does not worry me at the same time we are seeing the determination of the bears to not allow the price to keep growing anymore and if they can exhaust the bulls then a drop to the 15k level could be possible during the next weeks taking away any possibility we may have had of seeing the 20k level during this year.

So much depends on if we close outside the trend on a weekly basis on Sunday.    I thought a week it could develop this week but it was not for certain but I think heading into end of year its quite possible we get a pullback and it returns at least for a moment to 16k area which is the area for the meeting of 3 bars of action here so very likely has a good volume of buyers and sellers to it.

By the looks of it there are times when it looks like it could do that, and there are times it looks like it will drop a lot and there is really nothing in between right now for us at all, I really do not believe that we are going to know whats going to happen beforehand, it is crazy right now.

I look at it and see it going above 19k and trying to break the record, and I see it go down under 18k and even try to go down under 17k as well and that looks like it is crashing, like how the hell am I suppose to know which one is more serious? Some people say just because it went down a bit, it will continue to go down and be under 10k and I believe them, then it goes to 19k and people say it will be 25k or 30k and I believe them too, our job predicting the price is very tough.

There is a good chance that it could reach it on 2021 and maybe it could even sustain it at that price.

I am very sure that in 2021 the price of bitcoin will be able to pass the record price of 2017 as the highest price so far, although recently bitcoin has experienced a correction in the market so that bitcoin is trading at $ 19,200 today but we see that throughout 2020 the price of bitcoin continues to increase which is quite significant
and even an increase of almost 170% from the previous price of only $ 7,100, the bullish trend that occurred in bitcoin is certainly influenced by the nature of bitcoin as a safe haven asset so this has triggered people to secure their assets / money in the form of bitcoin at the time of the current corona pandemic. and resulting in higher demand that occurs in the market because basically the price of bitcoin is very much influenced by the supply and demand activities that occur in market.

It is often to see that after the bullish season, bearish moments will shop up and that we are going to expect next year. I hope I was wrong but that was the common issue before where huge market corrections take place.

Part of me says it will and some part of me says that 2021 is more likely, we are all wishing that 2020 is the year that Bitcoin will set a new all time high record, because we already have a milestone in this pandemic, and it's good if we have a new record so we'll have two milestone and just let 2021 takes care of it's business.

Yet other exchange bitcoin site their price for bitcoin is already $20k and this is insane. i think people are dumping some of their bitcoin because they are in needs to support them selves christmas is around the corner and since the pandemic hit us really hard some of companies and businesses are closing and other people are still in hodling waiting for the right time to sell but i think bitcoin will be stable at the price range of $18-19k depends on the supply and demand which is more likely people are more becoming interesting to invest their money in bitcoin.

Do not assume bitcoin price goes to a direction just because it did a bit of it. For example do not get hyped about 20k+ just because it went to 19.5k levels, we have seen examples of that because price went under 18k and we saw that it is not really a guarantee to break over 20k when you reach 19.5k right?

Well, same goes for when price drops, just because it dropped to under 18k doesn't mean it will stay there, it moved to over 18.5k as well.

So, all you can see right now is the fact that one movement of price doesn't mean that it will make a big deal out of it, just because there are some small movements doesn't mean that is the momentum of bitcoin neither. So all in all just be calm, and wait for a big move because these small moves doesn't mean anything at all.

That's Expectation against reality, While many is looking for ATH others are just cool and firm in their holding because they believe in Bitcoin and not in a easy growth that mostly whale manipulators are the starter.
Look at the movement this year,mid of November the Bull starts but just within the Month if falls and now staying neutral in lower amount.
People need to wait patiently and not looking for fast profit because the effect of this is panicking and selling more than holding.

They are looking for an ATH so they'll be able to dump their bitcoin.

We holders of bitcoin has different target, no one hold forever, but for those who are targeting like $100k or more, they'll be happy to see a new ATH also as that is the start of a higher price and that makes them more excited on holding.

ATH will definitely come, but we don't know when, so keep holding because we believe that bitcoin will increase as adoption increases.

So far as I know this isnt the top or especially finding hard resistance, the reasoning for why we will move far more in 2021 is already being laid out.   Part of why 2021 reaches a higher price also requires the price now retracts some and forms a better base to raise from, price correction can occur obviously with lower levels seen or just over time we establish volume such that a support level is reached and price failing to fall any further becomes enough for markets to push off from and begin another cycle higher.
   There is a possible Dollar index break down on the card where components to dollar value rise and recover previous losses.   There is also still an ongoing story from the halvening where BTC lost supply available and over time this is a slow vice turning to tighten bids and orders such that higher prices are produced; thats been the case in previous years where a larger rise happened the following year not the same year as the block reward halving and I expect similar now.

Finally bitcoin has reached what seemed impossible not so long ago, and the most impressive thing is that we did not needed to wait until 2021 to see it, it happened during 2020, probably one of the few good things that this year is going to leave for some of us, now the question is how high the price will go and for how long the price can remain above that level, right now I think we can say with some confidence that a price below 10k is gone for good but I wonder what will be the new floor for bitcoin.

The price has crossed $21000. The same happening by now makes the market strong. Further we can expect good growth to take place till the year end. Around two weeks left for the year 2020 to get completed. By the time there'll be massive change in the market. Possibly the price could easily reach $30k which is just $9000 away. This time the chance of price falling low seems to be low. Hope the growth gets carried forward towards the year 2021.
