Having only 16 posts and Activity on that account, it’s really going to be more hassle than it’s worth. Regardless, follow the instructions depicted here if you wish to give it a go:  Recovering hacked/lost accounts (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5089777.0).

You need to distinguish between banned and locked-out. If you account was banned, it wasn’t due to a leak, but due to some subsequent action (i.e. someone got hold of your account and spammed, leading to the account getting banned).

If you want to ban appeal you should post it on the meta section and follow the link above comments. And you can not post by the new account anywhere except in Meta. Otherwise, your new account also could be banned due to ban evasion. :)

btw I also don't find any worth to recover the account with 16 activity and red trusted. :)

It seems like your account has been locked for some reason as I couldn’t get anything related to ban in bpip.org. If It's locked, follow the above suggestion while if it is banned, forget about this forum.

If you want to ban appeal you should post it on the meta section and follow the link above comments.
Where did he post  ::)

Better use a new account to post as it takes days or even months to unlock.
Edit: Could you please clarify whether it's banned or locked.

Why the process of unlocking is manual? There should be an easy way out for it.

It's worth it if OP wants to use this forum. Because OP isn't allowed to create a new account. Doesn't matter red trust, it will not prevent using and posting on this forum. Most probably OP wants to avoid ban evasion.

@OP, if the account is under control of you, then recover your account first by following the above instructions. Then if incase your account exists with the ban then write the correct reason to unban your account. Most probably you will get a solution.

I agree with RapTarX. You were able to login to your account and even made few posts years after the passwords leak incident. Therefore, I don't think it was banned because of the hack.

I took a look at your posts and couldn't find any staked address you can use to prove ownership of the account. So, it will be hard to recover it unless you still have access to the original email used when you registred in 2014.

Netsky55, I knew that sounded familiar from somewhere. I took a look at bpip and there are many variations with that username. We have got netsky, netsky33 (banned), Netsky5 (also banned), and a couple of others. Those wouldn't happen to be your accounts, would they? And why would they get banned?

Not sure why you would want this account back. Unless you are banned for plagiarism/spamming and are ban evading, it seems better to just start over.

why not try again? a lot of members doesn't get a response after emailing when their account gets banned. if your account was banned due to password leak you might have a chance. but if the reason was from spam, plagiarism, or something that is against forum rules(edit: just like what Pmalek said) I don't see a chance your account getting unbanned.

The account recoveries got a lot quicker when Theymos introduced a new team to handle account recoveries towards the end of 2018. Try sending a message to the email address again while following instructions provided in the account recovery thread.

Requesting to unban account with 16 posts and activity?, its something outrageous mate, that could be gotten within the space of 5 days, what could have been special with this account that you needed it back.
Well, you can equally get a new one and move on by following the rules guiding the forum.
