Title: Game on Ethereum smart contracts
Post by: cryptworld on December 01, 2020, 02:45:20 PM
How would look like the ideal Gambling app with smart contracts in the background?
What would that be? Is anyone interested in creating a new one?

I don't know exactly about Ethereum blockchain, but I think I have seen one advertised in Twitter that runs on the blockchain of ICON.

ICONbet is the name, I just searched it, but I won't be sharing the URL coz this is not the topic and to not be considered a spammer :D

If this one I think that runs on this blockchain, it would be logical that others can run on Ethereum's. In fact, it seems strange to me not to exist plenty of them already, after having invented cryptokitties and all this strange stuff. Maybe someone knows concrete projects and can share.

Here are the some example for eth smart contract based gambling projects. I am not sure about genuine things about the projects. Kindly examine that and learn through it.
https://bethereum.com/
https://blockchain-casino-games.com/
https://kryptium.io/

If you are looking for good developer for the smart contract development knowledge please find some node.js devs or find the best one here in this forum itself to support it.

It is no longer ideal. Since 2017, there were casinos that have been built on smartcontracts but didn't get the traction that they are expecting.
What would that be? Is anyone interested in creating a new one?
If a developer knew what I'm saying, they are no longer interested on it.

I don't think that type of platform will gain massive number of players. They are indeed transparent but I observed that gamblers here favour more on using btc and other alts like doge, xrp, and others. So the OP should think first about the possible audience on this type of gambling platform. Though there are devs here that you can look up in Services section.

I also heard those failed project before so I don't think smart contract is good for the gambling site and mostly of the new gambling site today didn't have their own token because they know gamblers don't want to use any token to gamble, we still prefer the major options and that's the thinking of many gambling site today. Well, if there's a better usage of smart contract in gambling, then someone will develop that soon and maybe introduce it to us again.

New projects that will have that enthusiasm to take over or at least get a chance to maintain their project with loyal customers are rare.
No one stops them from making one but they just have to learn in the past.
