Title: [SCAM] Tapsgame Casino using fake team member photos!
Post by: Rikafip on December 04, 2020, 03:45:30 PM
What happened: Tapsgame Casino is using fake team member photo for their CEO and Founder "Christian Propst" and Graphic Designer "Jim Hopper". Beside that huge red flag, they didn't provide any social media links for any team members, just some ridiculous few words explanations about them.

According to Tapsgame website, this is picture of Christian Props, their CEO and Founder and he is as they put it "manager who knows". As you can see, photo is put through some sort of filter, probably to hide the real source.

A little bit of reverse image search and what you get is the original picture without filters. Thing is, real person behind this picture is not called Christian Props, but Jordan Kamcev (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jordan_Kamchev), North Macedonian businessman and according to his wiki page and Forbes, richest person in North Macedonia.

Then there is another fake team member photo. According to Tapsgame, this is Jim Hopper, graphic designer

And this is the real picture they used. Person on the photo is Ammar Ahmad (https://www.linkedin.com/in/ammarahmad8/?originalSubdomain=au), CEO of AMR Hair & Beauty, Australian company.

tl;dr Two out of five team members with fake team members photo means that most likely rest is fake too, therefore this is nothing but a scam made for getting people's money and then disappearing without the trace. Please tag the OP and support the flag!

Very good find, Rikaflip!

I find it amusing and funny at the same time that the project team attempted to edit the pictures of their members in order to avoid being searched at. The audacity of these scammers posting fake photos of their team members in this forum given that there are numerous cases of the same offense just happened. The rule is, if one of the members of the team is fake, then most likely that everyone is fake!

I supported the flag and as always, keep up the good work!

Using filters to change the images slightly and stopping the reverse image searching method is now being used by many scammers. Like I previously said, scammers and anti-scammers are like cat and mouse game.

While anti-scammers will attempt to take down scammers, the later will try to evade them by such methods. It is also sad to see how some people think that they are going to use digital methods which were never made for the purpose of stealing money to alter stuff so that it helps them steal money.

Flag supported from my side.

Flag supported.
I see they are trying to edit images with various filters to make them harder to detect they are fake team members.
Lookin at their terrible and choppy to navigate website I can see they are just using buzz words like nft and gambling to attract more people.

And once again all this is fault of a sloppy designer (who also has a fake photo)...

Hello
I understand your concerns here. The team is completely real. 2 images used here are completely due to the error of our designer. Because it is forbidden to represent betting projects in our Country, 2 team members had to hide their photos. It was quite sad that this situation was licked. I hope that in the future we will resolve this problem of trust.

Team members section is laughable and looking like its been written by a 14 year old. Just look at this description of their developers Thomas Jane and Angel Mihu. Who wouldn't be confident in success of the project that has such an experienced developers who "complete their work very quickly and completely". Rest of the team members description ain't any better.

Yep, one of the oldest tricks in the book. Smarter ones are using AI generated images, which are sometimes much harder to detect while these nincompoops think that using basic filter will hide the real source.

NFT might lead the next bubble, so no surprise that scammers are already adapting to that using it as a buzzword to attract the investors. One thing we know about scammers that they keep adapting to new market condition.
