Title: Coinbase Will Support Flare Network’s Spark Airdrop For XRP Holders
Post by: Bitcoinmoon12 on December 06, 2020, 04:11:09 AM
Coinbase will support Flare Network’s upcoming Spark airdrop. The largest crypto exchange in the U.S holds about 3 billion XRP on the exchange.
“If you are an eligible customer holding an XRP balance on Coinbase or Coinbase Pro on the snapshot date and time of December 12, 2020, 00:00 AM UTC, you’ll receive Spark tokens from Coinbase at a later date after the Flare network launch. The amount of Spark you’ll receive depends on how much XRP you had in your account at the snapshot time.” the company’s blog said.

Very good news, XRP prices started to go crazy again after this announcement came out.  I already have a little bit of XRP, I hope the XRP airdrop doesn't disappoint and the price is good.  and after the XRP airdrop distribution, hopefully the price doesn't go down too deep.  so that we can get more profit.

It will be more convenient to claim the airdrop tokens from users private wallet than exchanges, coinbase isn't the only way to claim this token, here are few other wallets that support the airdrop

1. Cobo wallet
2. Exodus
3. Guarda wallet
4. Ledger
5. Metamask
6. Ellipal
7. Safepal

Binance now CoinBase will also support Ripple XRP airdrop for SPARK Tokens. Good news for XRP holders. If listed in SPARK coin binance, its price will be very good. The price of coins that support Binance exchange increases gradually.

I'm thinking about buying XRP, but I'm still afraid that after that the price of XRP will drop a lot and the price of Spark will be very low because it will be heavily dumped because many people will have Spark and who will buy Spark in the first days and why that person would buy Spark in the first few days?

Hello,

Total Noob here. I purchased a little bit of XRP before the airdrop, total coincidence as I wasn't aware that it was happening. Anyway, I had XRP in coinbase at the time of the snapshot.

Do I have to do anything else to get the airdrop? I'm reading about other places requiring address to be registered or something like that?

Would appreciate some direction.

Cheers

It all depends on whether the exchange supported this airdrop or not. My XRP was on the Poloniex exchange at the time of the snapshot, and Spark (XFLR) tokens were credited to my spot wallet on December 21.

As reported by Poloniex: "Once the Flare network launches in a couple of months, we will snapshot all XFLR balances and convert them to FLR for customers. The conversion ratio of XFLR : FLR will be dependent on the final amount we receive in the Spark airdrop": https://support.poloniex.com/hc/en-us/articles/360059061054-New-Poloniex-Listing-Spark-IOU-XFLR-

Lovely thanks. Yes COinBase say they will, no XFLR though for me, just waiting until flare launches I guess.

Its not yet launch yet bro, so everyone still on waiting games I guess. Even some platform havent send those juicy airdrop yet of of course no one will received it until they launch first.

Some of my colleague too are all waiting for the drop but still no announcement.
