How does he have so much money?

The price of monero at that time was around 50 cents and that means he has spent 92k USD to buy monero. If he was from the rich family and it will be easy money for him to brough a lot of monero at that time. Im not feeling surprised to see he was able to bought a lot of monero at that time.
His investment has become multi million dollars. He's so lucky.

since 2015 and then he was not up to 19 years and he was wise enough to invest his money on something that will be beneficial for him in future, now he must be proud of himself for making such a wise decision and for keeping them till now without being tempted to sell because am sure many adults who bought during that period have sold  :P

That's was some kind of easy profit. Well he is too lucky and he is brave enough to buy those tokens well I hope too that I have courage to invest to coins like that.
And leave it for years, maybe there's some new coins right now that will probably be like that in the future? maybe I should start looking around now.

He is currently 19, going back 5 years shows that he bought the coin at a very young age and also took a big step in buying such amount, thus I will say he is very brave to make such investment and his parents of course will be very proud of him to having spent his money well at a very young age unlike most teens. Another thing to consider is the fact, he made the investment in a good coin like Monero hence was able to get such profit now, the question is what convinced him to go for Monero, nevertheless he made a good call. But nowadays, can someone make an investment in most upcoming projects today and be relaxed, I guess not because most team are only here to get rich; this is the fact that differentiates a lot of old projects from the new ones, and also the reason a good number of old projects are still standing strong unlike it's counterpart.
I really commend the guy's bravery and smart investment.

Dang, he's got the jackpot I guess. Not everyone at that young age have the opportunity to spend thousands for a crypto with a lot of uncertainty. Though, I wonder why he bought monero in the first place as it's very anonymous coin and his parents are from parliament but that's not my business I guess.

So as the title said that he's 19 year old politician does that mean he's already in politic or what? Also I wonder how he report taxes from all that money he hold, not that I understand how Ukraine government works.

Currently, Rostislav's Monero valuation is around $24 million (185k x $130 (current monero price)).  I applaud him at a very young age who made the right decision to invest in Monero.  at that time Monero's price was less than $1, he's really lucky..

Monero is currently $130 so he has an estimated worth of over $25,000,000 & that’s just XMR. He probably has holdings of other crypto. Good for him, he deserves everything he has for having the balls to invest when the price was only $0.50.

If this story is real, he really got balls and money in investing. Who would expect that XMR made it this far while its batch mates are dead. It is important that you really have to believe in your investments and not just taking advantage for quick profits. He might be one of happiest believer of Monero which most thought way back then will just end up in a toilet.

Maybe the boy sees these things will happen in the future that he bought while it's cheap. Back 2015, XMR price I think was $0.10, he must have a lot of money still to invest that much of XMR.

He has the privilege of being the son of the national parliament of Ukraine. Money isn't going to be a problem for him since then and even more now. So much money for a 19-year-old.

Or the case here is that his parents is also behind this as where will he get that money even if XMR was just 50cents when he bought? Just like others have said, maybe their family stashed their wealth in crypto and used  this 14-year old boy at that time to keep their riches. I won't believe that it was his doing alone as the money involved is quite big.

He could be in trouble for revealing such huge amount of monero coins because being a politician and public figure there will be many questioning his money and some may think he made these coins from corruption money and it can also give bad name to his parents who are also parliamentarians. I hope the issue will be handled well and Ukraine will also move to adopt crypto after this reveal.

Im not sure about that but it will be a very difficult thing for politiciant to reveal their crypto asset. He has invested in crypto a few years ago and that means he's still under 17 at that time.
That makes sense if he was only trying to put his money on monero or crypto at that time. The politician will never reveal their crypto as they can get taxes caused by that.
They will be silent.

Maybe you think he decided to buy these coins himself? The parents are rich and probably the son asked him to buy it as a gift.

It could be true as we don't know the real. I will let him say whatever he wants to say, but if he can not proves that he owning 185.000 monero, it is hard for people to believe it. Even if his parents are a member of the national parliament of Ukraine, it doesn't need to show or tell the public that he owns many monero amounts. If I were him, I prefer to keep that for myself because it can make him a nice target for the hacker or people who want to steal from him.

How about mining them? i think its cheaper to get them by mining at that time. However the way he get the coins, his decision so lucky.

I have seen by now that most politicians are of rich background so probably this person belongs to a wealthy background that's why he could able to buy the huge amount of xmr at that time currently the worth of these xmr is around 26 million, interesting. Now this is called perfect investment return.

It is a big money for sure if he is still holding it and he was unable to dispose the said amount as monero as of this moment is sitting at $100 plus, while the cost of monero at that time is only under $1.

He maybe young but what he was done is pretty nice move, if he consider it as his saving at the time he bought it then he is now earning so much from his saving. Exactly my thought. He must have mined them as it was very easy to mine XMR in 2015 than today. But how can a user of XMR be traced? How can he be known of owning such a big amount of money when this coin can easily hide his money for ages? However, the number is eye-catching and alarming that a politician bought crypto at times when it was not even legalized or regulated! And where did that money come from?

Well, this is exactly the scenario that confirms that the rich Wil keep getting richer, according to the story above, I believe the boy is from a very wealthy home and the money he used to buy monero back then might be his pocket money for the week or even half of it, which doesn't affect him in any way, and for him leaving it till now means he had enough to spend all along.

But imagine this was bought by a poor or middle class guy, he would have sold it a long time ago to get he's money back especially when he runs out of cash and theres already a good profit on that investment.

At a very young age, he managed to foresee that buying some tokens can make him millionaire because what is the reason for him buying it on that year seeing that the price is cheap ang maybe the volume at that time is not high. Imagine how much money he gained after buying a token in such a low price. It is really such a good time to learn some trading and holding it for a long term and wait for the price to pump up.

I don’t see why I should he surprised by this, it’s clearly there that his parents are politicians, and he’s also a politician, so for sure he has the money to buy as much as he wants. There might even be so many other politicians that will be buying cryptocurrency but prefers to be doing it low-key so that nobody will know about it. Never trust these politicians, they can do anything lol, they will even tell you that it is bad and illegal and still go for it.

Yes true, that’s worth a lot of money , with the current price it is worth more than a twenty million dollars. The market is still bullish , before the end of December that 185,000 Monero will likely be worth even extra money.

Considering his age and span of 5 years the $75k spent is a huge money waging into million of investment within the 5 years is another achieved milestone. That $75k is enough money to start a life and expand yourself in 3rd world countries.

A 14-year-old can't have 100 thousand dollars that they can properly invest at that age. In this way, the income that was obtained criminally by his parents is legalized.

But most probably it's a corruption money from his parents. Ukraine has been quite famous worldwide for it's political corruption and how ex-presidents made that country poorer each day. And the choice of currency Monero seems the buyers were interested in keeping that money secret and probably their spoiled child boasted about that when drunk.

I don't want to name a specific member of parliament in my country, but the same thing happens, like a member of parliament in Ukraine, however, the parliament I mean does not buy a christmas gift for his son with Monero, but he does gift his son 10 YFII DFI.Money, Is this a Christmas gift, no, only the guilty members wasted a little money to get rid of traces.

Sure, Christmas will arrive soon, many of the same things will happen again like in Ukraine, not something that should be debated, it's just that at your own risk, no 11 year old child can manage 10 YFII DFI. Money, money, only....!

Let's not forget the fact that XMR was trading at $450-$500 per coin three years ago. I am not sure whether he had sold any of his coins back then. From that level, the XMR prices collapsed to $38 per coin by March 2020. But now the prices are going up once again and in my opinion he should consider selling some of his coins to fiat, or to convert a part of his stash to BTC.

14 years old，spent around $74,000 to invest in 185,000 XMR in December 2015,，this is a impossible thing for me，and he did，in addition hold until now，why he not sold XMR in 2017，this is too confusing to me.

i wish i have the same courage as him when i wanted to invest into new projects. right now he's a millionaire i wish i bough monero too last 2015 i thought it wouldn't last but right now it's one of the known coins

Also, I think the number of XMR he has was bought by his parents, but it's all labeled by Rostislav Solod who bought it.

I have not mentioned his knowledge, but when 19 years old has such a high position, there is a high chance that his parents are using power unjustly. Besides, their family also borrowed the title of their son Solod to facilitate money laundering, because Monero is a privacy coin and no one can access the real information of the trader.

In my country there are also such families in the political apparatus, after the children do not have enough experience to take on the high position usually will not help the country. :-X

It's really interesting how many crypto Users/Enthusiasts/Investors are going into politics... This young one is more surprising to me.  Maybe they believe they can run the countries better than how they are currently run?
I wonder if he's a strong fan of all the good Ideals/Principles of true Cryptocurrency.  I believe the Ideals coupled with good rules can help make alot of countries to be run better and more honestly.

 I have told people that to make real money in this space you just need one major win and that settles it, he made the right bet and pays off. People need to stop looking for short win in the space and look for good long term winners. He can run a presidential campaign now

The sentence "19 year old politician" gives me hope and also scares me at the same time. In many nations (don't know how it is in Ukraine" in order for you to be a politician you need to get in good graces with your party, and when you are 19 years old you do not have that much time nor experience to actually be a great politician, people spend decades navigating through politics to get to a higher office.

However in some other places people just vote for the best candidate and I hope this was the case here as well. We need younger people in politics, the younger the better because they can see today's problems whereas older politicians know few decades of issues and move from there. It is not a surprise that a younger person would be capable of buying crypto early on, it is heavily supported in the younger demographic.

If I am rich like this guy I would definitely to buy a coin and store in hard wallet for many years. Lucky for him his parents were already rich and he just spent $74,000 at the age of 14, oh wow. Imagine in that age you had $74,000? your life will be so easy. Now he earned $24 million wtf.. what a lucky guy.

The story don't have any appeal to me.  I have read many of this kind, some are true and some are just made up.  If the guy is 19 years old today then, he is 14 years old during that time.  How would a 14 years old kid hold that huge amount of money?  How he is able to transfer the fund without the consent of an adult?  If it is true then good for him, but I doubt that he is alone in that venture. or he did it by himself. 

When you see stories like this you would realise it pays to hold a good coin, even if it takes a long time the end result is always pleasant, imagine since when he invested and how many years he was holding it,
Am most certainly very happy for him, it is not easy to hold for a year talk more for 4-5 years.

He was very lucky to be born with a golden spoon for he have such a lot of money to buy a bunch of Monero even it was already 5 years ago. To think that he was very young at that time, you can already have an insight that he is an intelligent kid and he is up on taking risk for the sake of investment on which he have done a right decision because compared to the price of Monero by that time and as of now, he have already earned the fruit of his patience owning such great amount of Monero (XMR) ever since 2015. It is not just the wealth of his family that have been a great factor for him to have it but of course his intellectual capacity as a kid to think at a young age to take the risk on buying such amount of Monero (XMR) and have made a good decision even after 5 years ever since he have bought them for he is already seeing the fruit of his patience and good decision.

This is the thread those people posting around in this forum how crypto is nothing but a scam. This will be a lesson learnt that if they don't start educating themselves they'll be missing out greatly.

Amazing, I believe his parents bought a huge amount of Monero for him when Monero value was between 0.40$-1$ price range and now Kramatorsk is a millionaire. If he will continue to hold the chance will be of more profit.  He is a lucky guy who got the jackpot by holding Monero. The Crypto market has a lot of potentials where one can make good money with long-term planning.

If i also had that money I would definitely do the same, well in his case he has his parents back up and ncluding his position he was able to buy at that time. The question is if what did he do to the xmr at this moment of time? He could be living more luxurious than he was before.

Now everything is not happening as you write. Politicians are interested to indicate in the declaration that they own bitcoins or other cryptocurrencies, even if they do not actually have it. Because in this way they can legalize their money, which was previously earned by criminal means. Therefore, today we see that according to the declarations, they own a large amount of cryptocurrency, which was bought earlier literally for cents.

If he was 19 years old today, it means he was just 14 years old at that time when he bought the 185,000 Monero in 2015 that 185K Monero was already expensive so no doubt he was a rich-kid and become much richer with the current price of Monero $128/Monero it was a huge sum of $23,706,048 today that was easy money, In short, the rich was hit the jackpot.

I'm not generalizing all of the politicians around the world but most of them are already rich when they first joined politics so this kid is already rich enough to buy 185,000 XMR.

Not all of the altcoins though have the capability to give profits like this in the long run since there are some who just goes down and down within the past years.
