Title: TRON SMART CONTRACT SCAM
Post by: Miaallen on December 11, 2020, 11:12:10 AM
Just like we used to experience springing up of series of scam investments, ponzi, and HYIP towards the year ends since 2016, we experience the same again in this year but with a different dimension.

The newest dimension is the application of tron smart contract which is claimed to enable earn a double or multiple percentage of whatever amount you invest straight in to you tron wallet.

They scammers were initially adopting the method of being the first set of people to invest in multiple accounts and their by withdraw the later investors funds as dividends for their own investments living the latter with loss of their hard earned funds.

Recently, the scammers are making their contract address to be having a backdoor which enables them to withdraw the investors funds into their private wallets.

Several millions of trons (TRX) have been lost to such investments.

Each and every single one of us should always avoid any investment which produces nothing and promises us heaven and earth as rewards. Most of them are just scams finding their ways to our funds to steal it.

IMO, I think YES! because this fraudulent activity was also happening in the Ethereum smart-contract particularly in some Defi projects and then it's also possible to happen in the Tron smart-contract, I believe it is an issue of transparency and lack of proper smart-contract auditing. Because if it was audited by the reputable smart-contract auditor it will be known that there is some backdoor function that the team can do anything in the smart-contract if they want to.

Scamming through smart contract is absolutely a disgusting way of scammers they always come with new deception to scam people. Users must use their tron wallets very cautiously if they use DApp browser it's better to not open unauthorized websites there otherwise it may be harmful unfortunately.

Don't blame the smart contract.

You should blame the creator who using the smart contract for Scam, Ponzi, HYIP also try to educate your self a project who give interest without any information at all where the interest came from and also with insane % you should think twice.

that's called rug pull and be careful with any new project. It has potentially created by the scammers which were putting the backdoor to steal the money. The contract an also be manipulated and this time everyone must aware about how important if someone can at least read the contract.
That's why these days audit is a must by trusted party

It's a pity that these kind of easy and quick return investment is what some people like to do. Anyone who has a long term mentality will not invest in this kind of schemes. Scammers are always finding every opportunity to carry out their act but the general public just need to be aware of their tactics.

This can be modified same like ethereum smart contract. Why blame the smart contract that has been used on the scam activity hence should focus on finding those users doing a mint and cheat sheet function on the codes. Scammers are eventually doing or adding some functions that can definitely cheat investors. So better to learn the simple code for finding these projects that plan to do modus like this.

I never believed this was true until I tried it few days ago, after I lost some hundreds of dollars in forex market. I was just looking for ways to get some of throney I lost back. And I try to give I trier. I tried it with just 100 Tron to be getting 25% of what I invested into the smart contract. Which is goit to be 25Tron everyday. I got credited the first day, only to make withdrawal for the second day and they disappeared into tin air. Saying their server is under maintenance. Majority of those smart contract are big time scam.
