Anyone else having issues withdrawing BTC from CryptoRush?

Apparently fyrstikken invested $500,000 in cryptorush a week ago so his frustration is understandable, albeit misdirected.

fyrstikken isnt part of the cryptorush team (took like 2 minutes of research to find that), so ur post is FUD noob.

i dont think they have allowed btc to be withdrawn for a long time now.

I always have to dump into another coin thats on another exchange and just deal with all the fees that entails

I don't agree with a lot of the ignorant comments in these threads but I do have to admit its going to be hard for them to recover from that asshole fyrstikken's comments.

the reason you can't log in as you probably should know by now is that they have been under DDOS attack since listing blackcoin and apparently it's getting worse.

Then after some reading I realised people are selling all their BTC into whatever they can get so they can withdraw those coins since BTC withdraws are halted.

They seem to do a reasonable job to me. Of course leaving more than a few LTC worth of coins on ANY exchange is a risk.

I think they should be given a chance to fix this problem.

Put fee's up for a couple of weeks and pay people back gradually that lost their coins.

No point trying to crash them down or else you will not get anything back from them.

For the most part their site is quite speedy.

Not masterbrain, but a promoter who I guess mostly uses youtube.  I don't think he's done any of his own coins yet.

I think he's trying to be the turnaround business guy with cryptorush, but the pressure got to be too much.

They got bitten a couple times by bad coins on top of the BTC hack etc.  I don't know what they expected using the OpenEx codebase, which thankfully appears to have been pulled from github.

I get what they were trying to do with CR, but you can't expect to be successful using a codebase that was known to have, umm, "issues", and throwing every coin that comes along up on the exchange.  So many coins being put out now from the generator and inexperienced developers with random defects.  If you're going to do it you gotta have an experienced developer thoroughly checking every coin, and that quickly becomes non-scalable/unprofitable.

I think they learned some lessons.  At least they haven't just closed up and run away, and are actively trying to shore up the site and make everyone whole...which is more than you can say about some other exchanges lately...

I'm new here.  Been reading the forum for some time, but just joined today.  I've been trying for an hour now to log in to CR and cannot. The email and pw work, but they seem to have turned off two-factor auth.  I've synced and resynced by 2F and cannot get any authentication from their website. No answer on support tickets and twitter. Didn't even get the auto-response on the ticket I opened this morn.

I ended up converting to LTC at 0.033 ex-rate and got them out that way, crappy exchange rate but better than not getting my coins out

I'd been following this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=529779.480.  I don't have much there, i might just keep it to see how it plays out.  Never liked their trading system with the queues and exact price matches and such. but I did like the coin selection and wild prices fluctuations that made for some good sells.

Everytime I try to withdraw altcoin, it timesout. smh  ::)

I managed to withdraw only a part of my BTC from their shithole!
I had 0.026BTC but I received only.... 0.00070565 BTC
My balance is now 0 ...

What I did was trade my BTC to LTC and then withdrew it which was very successful without any problem encountered. Everyone should do the same to avoid losses. LTC is not the only option you can also trade with other available altcoins that you want to withdraw.

Hopefully cr gets back on track, used them a bunch this past month and did really well with them only problem for me was the having to check back later to withdraw btc

Try exchanging to other alts like DOGE, then withdrawing. At this point they have probably cottoned onto the fact everyone is converting BTC to LTC, convert it to another primary alt.

It sounds like like DOGE might be OK because it is not on their list of depleted wallets or the other list of coins offline for daemon upgrades.
