Post by: zalupkin7 on December 13, 2020, 10:01:19 PM

To give you an idea, you go and check each bot that's on Service Announcements (Altcoins). (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=197.0)
The popular is gunbot, there's also CAT but see for your own reference and check their features which is favorable to you.

Go with manual first because It would be useless on setting a trading bot if you don't know on what youre doing.

So ive read up that you're trying to configure those bots then these videos might be helpful on what you seek of.

yes I agree, better direct trading. in addition to adding insight, of course adding its own knowledge. although there is nothing wrong with using a bot, yes only occasionally if it's outside of work. many types of bots available. the order depends on each taste. because it's a matter of convenience.

As some people have suggested first you need to trade manually and to know that you are capable of producing profits in that way before you try to automate your trades, I applaud your creativity and the fact that you are making your own bot, this tells me you are smart enough to understand the nature of trading and become profitable in the future, you just need to spend the time to learn and after you do all of that coding your bot will be incredibly easy for you.

I have not any idea about trading bot though I can share some other source in this forum or outside of this forum. You take a look there to know something about it.

1. https://blog.shrimpy.io/blog/binance-crypto-trading-bots-with-python
2. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1715214.0
3. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=211979.0

Number 2 and 3 is not a guide actually but you can understand how actually a trading bot should. what types of features should be adde. Good luck with your trading bot.

It's our own personal preference on where we really earn good gains in trading. Knowledge really matters in times of earning profit, so if you think bot or your own skills will be effective stay with it and be an expert to it. Don't let hesitation hinder you with the goals that you have, always strive harder to achieve all those things.

I do not really like trading bots; neither do i use it as that, but if you want a trading bot for the short while, you can definitely try up bit universe trading bot; it is accepted by binance kucoin and other top top exchanges platform. This is not an advert for bituniverse; just a suggestion. Do your research and also make sure you can understand the bot before setting it up

so do i, because its better to trade with our personal analysis, give our capital to a bot is too risky
sometimes we can make a good profit, but sometimes not buddy, even we can lose a lot of money because of bot

There are already a million bots out there, there is no better bot neither because each have their own strengths and weaknesses but the reality is that they are not really that great even when they are at high level because market is the one that helps you profit or not.

The bad side of bots is that when market is on a bear run you are trading 7/24 with it and that means it will buy or maybe even sell during a bear market period and you will end up losing some money.

Whereas if you end up actually using during the bull run period, you are going to realize that it does make a lot of money because it is trading 7/24 on something that is always profiting. Only very later you realize that if you traded during bull run you could have made money yourself as well so there is no benefit.

The difference between doing the trading yourself and the use of a trading bot is the ease of trading, effective decision and capacity but that doesn't mean every trading decision will be profitable this is what some people don't understand. Besides, that explains the reason for the all profit loss and the negative amount.
I will advise you to read and watch the Youtube videos provided above.

I think the use of bots in trading can make traders more efficient, because as traders of course we no longer need to monitor market conditions intensely on a computer screen to observe price movements in the market, in other words, of course every transaction we make in the market is automatic run by the system (bot). In addition, the use of trading bots is also able to provide a more accurate market analysis for us to determine transactions so that we can avoid the risk of large losses and sometimes the use of trading bots is able to gain bigger profits for us as traders.

That is only true if you acquire one of the commercial bots out there, if you can code your own bot then the bot could in theory trade exactly as you trade with the advantage that the bot will never make mistake and that it will always follow your system unlike what you could do, also a bot never tires and can trade the markets all the time and take advantage of opportunities that are unavailable to you because you have to sleep, all in all bots can be a great addition to the arsenal of a trader but only if you know how to use them.
