Title: [Warning] Wealth Sharing System - Ponzi scheme
Post by: SFR10 on December 14, 2020, 02:20:11 PM
What happened:

After visiting their website, I noticed they're using a similar template to "Cloudbet (https://www.cloudbet.com/en/)" so I did some more digging and apart from using a lot of their lines [inspired by them and a clear rip-off], they happen to be offering multiplication of coins [double, triple or more] in a quick manner...

PM/Chat Logs:

Additional Notes:

@wealthsharingsystems just started a new announcement thread. Seems like these guys don't intend to give up easily. It's funny how they think that if blockchain is included that it can't be scam/ponzi scheme, and they often even use that as a marketing strategy. By the way, flag supported.

During first visit on their website it looks exactly like a betting platform until I scroll down to their footer area. Except the footer they have used betting related info's everywhere but you have detected their coin multiplier exactly. Actually this guys are trying to hide their ponzi plans under the shadow of betting template.

Here is their WHOIS (https://www.whois.com/whois/wealthsharingsystems.com) data:

Hi this is our official Bitcointalk forum account,

we are provably fair, you guys are just stupid, sorry.

do you know what a raffle is and how it works?

lets say a pool prize is $5 - WSS sells 5 tickets at $1 each ticket winner total pool value is $5 - 5x your bet, second double your tokens is simple odd games 1 out of 2 winner 50/50 odds - one out of the 2 tickets win pool.

Seriously you all are morons, and yet arrogant enough to not even contact us read our white paper, blog, anything or do anything but slander us.

Morons, thanks you!

That is not how you respond when you are getting accused. The suspicion will only heighten if you use expletive language so if I were I would stop using that right now. Of all the words in the English language, why do you think Wealth Sharing System is an appropriate name for a brand. I know that there is something fishy just because of your name, also your raffle is a Ponzi scheme, if you actually look up the definition, it says there that the money earned by the early investor came from the money of the late investor.

A raffle is a raffle, its not a ponzi scheme,

We are game of chance, not finance, there is no guaranteed or promised return nor is this investment.

its fixed odd games, each ticket is sold and when all tickets sold, provably fair RNG selects winner ticket when all sold.

noun
noun: raffle; plural noun: raffles

a means of raising money by selling numbered tickets, one or some of which are subsequently drawn at random, the holder or holders of such tickets winning a prize.

------------------------------------------------------

noun: Ponzi scheme; plural noun: Ponzi schemes

a form of fraud in which belief in the success of a non-existent enterprise is fostered by the payment of quick returns to the first investors from money invested by later investors.

-----------------------------------------------------------

So you are all wrong, as every single game is fair and true chance game.

@wealthsharingsystems
Before I start with the 1st set of questions, would it be fine if I include your PM on this thread?
- I need it as a reference to the 2nd set of questions.

Great start [says a lot about you]!

  • Funny that you mentioned, "not even contacting you". Did you contact Cloudbet and ask permission before you used [stole] their template, icons [while altering its colors] and even a lot of their lines [plagiarism with some alterations/additions]?

We are game of chance, not finance, there is no guaranteed or promised return nor is this investment.

Somehow an ICO manages to find its way into your platform [archived (https://archive.fo/vjDuS)].
- That's interesting.

  • From the current team members, would you be able to ask "Kenneth Harris, Carl Hilston and Daniel Hahm" to make a video and confirm their involvement in this project?
    • AFAIK apart from Daniel, both of them have YouTube channels and could create private videos and you could post those links here.
    • Even though Dan's image appears to be him, I would like to see confirmation as well since I found his picture in "someone else's portfolio (http://www.jacobminkus.com/photography) [archived (https://archive.fo/BxP5W#selection-274.3-274.4)]".
      - Just to be sure.

By doing that [dodging our questions/concern while coming up with another ann thread], they clearly showed what kind of team is behind their so-called "blockchain Raffle Technology (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5308568.msg56071188#msg56071188)"...
- I didn't even get to ask my 2nd set (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5300024.msg56047342#msg56047342) of questions >:(

Btw, thank you for the update and support [will add it to OP].

Will you please stop bumping this topic?

Sorry to say that through this kinda activity you are just bringing forum users attention on this topic. If you think after seeing your selfmade replies people will change their mind about you and your money stealing platform then you are completely wrong.

We can't stop you from fooling users of other platforms but you have been busted on bitcointalk, deal with it. Another good thing about being busted here is the fact that when someone googles you (and I hope that people will check you before giving you their hard earned money) this thread will pop up.

Nah, you confused me for someone who believes in your bs ponzi system.
