Title: Windows Software to track mining time?
Post by: Cryptomining2003 on December 15, 2020, 12:04:12 PM
Hey guys.

I use my Gaming PC for mining and want to log how many hours it mines per month. I use Windows 10 and start the miner via batch-file.
There are lots of time-recording softwares...but all of them only track time when the program is in focus.....the batch-window you can minimize or focus another window and it goes on with mining...so I need the "uptime" of that file recorded....who can suggest a small program that can handle this?

thx guys

Why not use Awesomeminer instead?
It includes all mining software and you can monitor your miner 24/7 and it mostly use for ASIC and GPU mining to track all of your mining activity.

You can check this on their thread from here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=676942.10700
Or go directly from their site here https://www.awesomeminer.com/

Maybe you don't need any external app but can do this from within cmd/PowerShell itself. See the following three links, they may help:

IŽll give it a try.....where can I see the miner uptime in Awesomeminer? value per month would be interresting to calculate energy costs...

I see an uptime value...but it resets every time I restart the miner....so that would be only the value for the last session.....unless you look for it while the miner still runs. any statistics service included?

What coin are you mining bitcoin or eth?
if its ethereum they have a software wherein you will just put your address then you can see if it's still running I know they have in mobile app, but I have never tried it before its been like 3 years since I have stopped,
https://ethermine.org/ if the hash stops you can see that the 2 lines will go down and never move until you have started the miner
by the way you check in mining section or ask what they are using hope this one helps you.

You need to learn first how to use Awesomeminer you must read their documentation from here https://support.awesomeminer.com/support/solutions/35000133235

There is a feature called "mining history" this might be what you looking for.
Check them here https://support.awesomeminer.com/support/solutions/35000133235
