You can get more investors in real life than in this anonymous forum. We've already had enough of such offers that 'you can earn here just invest' type of schemes and I guess you better asked only here for ideas and never look for investors.

As for my suggestion with regards to Solar Powered Mining Farm, you should calculate first the costs of the solar equipment to be added in the costs of the rigs and GPUs you would buy. Installing such type of equipment almost doubles your costs in buying the rigs, as the bigger the rigs, the more power it requires. Therefore, each and every rig must have an efficient power source, and with efficiency comes a greater cost.

Why also not try a hydro-electric powered system? You might find a huge difficulty finding a huge lake and registering your business in your locality, yet it would be a worth-a-shot solution.

A "kinetic solar" farm?

Those are two different forms of energy.   :/

Ja.
They mention a barge so perhaps they plan on combining wave action generators (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wave_power) with solar panels? That would sorta fit.
But it makes a good eye-catching tagline for tech-ignorant noob investors :P

Guys, there have already been a lot of similar ideas here that raised investments for the implementation of "green" projects. But, based on economic considerations, green energy is always more costly than traditional methods of generating electricity. These enterprises survive on subsidies and are mainly used in areas where conventional electricity is not available. So it is not yet known whether it will be beneficial to you or not.

Have you ever know that you can calculate things just by knowing how much would every possible things this kind of business must consider? There are already numerous successful crypto farming out there that relies on solar energy or hydroelectric energy, yet everyone starts back then when the money they mine can fulfill the costs of electricity their rigs consumes. As for the modern age and situation, mining itself is already a hard profit making idea, especially with the fact that there are already a lot of companies that mines cryptos for years. Considering also the costs of every equipment, the business might take 3 to 10 years to really pay their capital off.

If I'm not mistaken, Phillipma1957 has been solo mining bitcoin using solar energy for years and has long ago recouped the initial outlay for the equipment he uses.  Hopefully he'll drop by this thread and drop some knowledge.

I think this is a fantastic idea, but it's not one I would invest in without knowing a hell of a lot more about the particulars.  Soliciting investors by creating a thread on a discussion board isn't the best way to raise capital, you know.  And to some of us who've seen the scammiest scams around, it even raises some red flags.

Solar power has finally passed the point where it saves more CO2 than it produces during construction.  (Wind power has not).   I'm hoping a southern club member will land-lease to produce solar energy to mine bitcoin we can give to our members.  Wrap all the expenses and income in a blockchain, and this could be the first community mining project everyone could stand behind.

What people do with their energy is their business, but if I lived at a lower latitude and could get free power, I wouldn't be using it to support a blockchain that misuses energy like bitcoin does.  Survival societies should implement a private blockchain today, and be ready to transfer bitcoin assets and the mining energy to these blockchains when things collapse.
