Finally a new ATH has been set and it looks like we would still see it go higher.
I wonder what would be the highest price of BTC by the end of this year?

Yet another feat and milestone reached for BTC! Congratulations to everyone who still believed that we would reach and exceed the previous ATH. This year is truly shocking. During the first part of the year, we had a low ($3750) and just before the end of the year, we have a high of $20335!  So much changed in the last months for crypto because we have more institutional investors and retailers buying Bitcoin which is more than we can ever have. From the look of things, Bitcoin's price would be between $21K - $23K. The good times are back!

good move at the end of this year. but people argue more, I saw in the telegram group binance btc will hit 30k in the next 5 days, I'm not sure because it sounds like a bullshit prediction. but the good thing is that we will continue to see btc in the 20k range and never drop below that. a great start for crypto will begin.

Seems like Paypal played a big role in this. They started buying Bitcoin a few months ago and it reflects on their stock price.

Congrats holders, finally we have a new all time high for bitcoin. It is really remarkable achievement despite the negativity of this year, still we are having a good news before we unfold new chapter of our crypto journey next year. Looking forward for another milestones ahead for bitcoin and to us crypto enthusiasts as well that's why we are big believers and dreamers. Long live Bitcoin!

This is a great achievement for all of us, but the question is what will happen now?
Will there be a big sale of bitcoin and withdrawal of earnings of large investors, and larger price corrections?
In that case, we may not see such a high price again so soon.

Same feeling actually. It was like a crawling increase of the price and we're like stuck in 19k for weeks. I don't mind though. It's gonna be expected for many people to withdraw right now due to the awaited price that was also eyed back in 2017.

Damn. Feels good to see that price - now you guys know why $20k was a psychological level. We can now literally say that nobody who's been holding on to their Bitcoins is on a loss. What I now wonder is whether this is just a beginning of the new bullish cycle or it's gonna sit around $20k 'till 2021.

No, PayPal isn't purchasing Bitcoin. Their customers probably aren't either, since you never really know whether what they're selling is truly BTC or not.

Definitely, don't be surprise to see some rough time from here in regard to the All Time High we have just sustained, anything around the $20k shouldn't be see as bull-run rather a bull-trap in my honest opinion. There are some that are saying Bitcoin will hit $30k before Christmas but i doubt this becasue profit takers have just woken up. In my view, we may keep the $20k value till 2021 before any decision be made in regard to Bitcoin market price.

It is a crazy year when bitcoin suddenly crashed to below $4k and within a few months, it climbed to above $10k. At the end of a year, it broke the $20k resistance and try to reach $21k. Crazy year and bitcoin is always a crazy beast.

It looks like 2021 will be green for cryptocurrencies. We are still waiting for alt season. At least in the beginning of 2012 Bitcoin can rest and let the alt party begin. But also I hope $20.000 wil be support level for Bitcoin. we waited for 3 years to see a new ATH. Cmon BTC!

Me and my friend were enjoying every price movements of BTC, happy to see this price after 3years because a lot of controversy were there when the price was 5k in the mid of this year. Many said the price may go down as the COVID-19 pandemic was in it's peak, this was a real surprise from BTC to crypto community. My prediction was 22k by the end of the year after analysing a lot of things, I will be waiting to see it.

We are still not done, the 20k level despite being broken it has not been broken in a definitive way, the price could still come down and go back to be below that level during the next days if people panic and begin to sell, so it is difficult to know what will happen, the most likely scenario is that the price of bitcoin keeps going up at least until the end of the year but I am getting nervous since the market is slowly becoming overbought as many indicators are signalling this already.

It's amazing as many Bitcoin predictions are now at $20,800. We are waiting for new prices in the crypto market. I am thrilled that Bitcoin is rising so fast. :o

I argue the dominance of Bitcoin from here but the institutional investment is challenging the altseason. Although many theories emphasis the importance of altseason to Bitcoin parabolic market. I will be waiting for Messarri prediction into 2021,I never understood some into the year but I wish I can do better for next year.

Way too excited about this, after long last the Bitcoin all time high -ATH- has new a new/different amount, and if I ever thought that could be possible I may not have thought it would be this year 2020, but the price has not be clock wise with the bad/treble pandemic situation of times in this year, its not going to bring back lost lives but its a cheerful news.

Great, as many people were expecting as well as obsessed with the $20,000 mark which has been finally achieved, now Bitcoin will be heading towards $25000 and I just wish we don't see a repeat of 2018 and also we should be more cautious than ever because emotions will be running high as some might invest at peak die to FOMO while others might just be spreading illogical figure of $100000 as target of bitcoin by the end of the year.

One thing is clear that Bitcoin will definitely fightback against all odds to bounce back unlike other altcoins. Now this new ATH will either push the value of altcoins to new level or else there will be shifting of funds from alts to bitcoin.

Increasing the supply of the USD really did help. The day the USD could finally collapse and enter the inflation spiral doesn't look too far-fetched anymore. Just remember what we have been saying all these years: Don't keep all your savings in fiat.

The only people who "lost" from buying in the previous ATH, were those that sold. If you kept your bitcoins, now you are officially in the green.

This is really great moment for all of us and hoping for the best weekend and not like previously correction weekend within 2 days. I wonder if many of the hodlers going to profit out from this position as greed index is on 92 and according to on-chain analysis, everyone is still on hodling. But it's bullish from myside for long-term. Just like history is going to repeat again or already done.

despite the price reach a new ATH this year, the excitement and hype are not that strong like 2017.
I can understand it since the price was up slowly and steadily, and we have ever done it 3 years ago.
I guess I am not the only one who feels that way.

Finally!!! This is so cool, I believe that we will see bitcoin's price that we couldn't even imagine in our mind. I always say, halving plays the huge role in bitcoin's price, a lot of people have positive expectation and state of mind when it comes to halving, a lot of people expect rise in price and since we are the ones who set the value of bitcoin, it should skyrocket without doubt. Let's have a look at 2016-2017 year, we went from $600 to $20 000 and situation was quite similar. We couldn't even imagine if we hit $1000 but it happened like we went up to 20K. Since 2017, 20K was unbelievable as we went as low as 3K USD.
Well, not to talk much, I think bitcoin will reach 100K and even more.

I've missed this piece of news, honestly. Well, it might actually not be a coincidence considering the massive amount of users PH has. If this is what caused the ATH, then I find it funny for two reasons:
 1. I'd imagine a lot of people have desperately looked up ways to purchase BTC in order to make sure they'll have subscription renewals on time
 2. Just think of how many people have told their SO in the past 2 days that they've decided to "invest in BTC", lol.

But seriously now - if it's due to PH, then I expect some bull run in the next 25-30 days until people get used to purchasing BTC for their PH subscriptions.

Yeah, 2017 all over again, remember those times wherein when we break every price, there's a lot of threads about it. But this time its very different, as we achieved a new all time high, $20k++ now. And for those who are here in 2017 and have seen the worst bear market after that, this really feels something special.

It was such a nice surprise to see it happening today! As it kept crawling up I felt like saying to all of those people that created the threads like 'BTC is dead' and similar topics that 'this is the proof to all of you non-believers', and I get to say it now :D

Anyways, onto a more positive note not only did it climb to 20K but it has been hanging in mid-twenty for a good time. It almost makes me believe that now with no resistance it could even go higher. What do you lot think, can it do it? Where do you think the resistance is?

A new ATH has already been obtained but what is the exact value that will hit in the end, because I guess this is just the start where the bulls will continue to run at least until the end of this year or if that continues into next year maybe a prediction of 50k, 100k, or even higher will be achieved. :o

Lucky for those holders who keeps believing that ATH will be breakout, those who patiently wait and hold their assets especially for those investors few years back, now they are enjoying the profits that they've believe in. Breaking the last time peak and holding a new time high before this year end.

If you look back one year ago on this date and month the price of bitcoin was - + $ 8500, while in 2018 the same date bitcoin reached the lowest price - + $ 3200. Then three years ago it was still on the same date and month bitcoin reached new ATH - + $ 19,000. Likewise today with the same date and month a new bitcoin ATH was created. Whether this is a coincidence or it will be a cycle that continues, I hope bitcoin will continue to fly to reach new prices, as is the growing belief in the world with the technology.

I think this coronavirus has been able to make bitcoin price past its all time. I still remember when many people complain about bitcoin price when its price just dumped to $3500, at that time there are many users who just talk that bitcoin will die soon and many people will lose their money. Actually, I could buy bitcoin at that time but my brain just fulled of fear, I regretted it now. Even I can't bought bitcoin when the price touched $10.000 because I hold some altcoin and was sold because I was fear when coronavirus effect can give a bad thing for bitcoin, but I realize that was wrong. Seem like this increasing price was affected by the stimulus deal so many people just buy bitcoin to safe thei asset.

Yes finally we see again bitcoin to the price of 20k dollars. Yesterday I will not my expectation will not see that price but Im wrong because we finally achieve the ATH for the bitcoin.

Please maintain this price and don't dump fastly because it's hards to achieve that don't do that again of what we do before that after we see this value they started dumping that can cause another dump because the investors panic also.

In this year it has been the asset with the best characteristics to safeguard the value reserves of many companies. It has inspired the confidence of many because investors seek to protect their wealth from inflation with Bitcoin to create macro opportunities. All of this endorsement has made the great Bitcoin rally.

We made it, we finally made it. we're not even finished with this year and yet we have reached the $20,000 mark and counting. I wander up to how much would be the price of Bitcoin this year and as you can see, we already made some history here. we won't gonna forget this event and we will talk about it even how many years have passed because we have just made history. I just want to tell to those people who are new in the industry of crypto because when the price hits this high amount, those scammers are looking for some strategies to get your money, so you better be careful and make some research before investing.

It took almost three weeks to breach the $20,000 level, because the resistance was too strong. But eventually there was a "stampede of investors" as Coindesk put it (here (https://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-buyers-push-past-20k)). The future prospects are looking very bright and I don't expect the next major resistance formation to occur until we reach a level of $50,000 per coin. Minor corrections may occur in between.

Congratulations to everyone for reaching the $20000(BTC) as ATH, it seems like many people are looking and waiting for this value especially those investors and holders including the traders as well. I never think that it could reach that value because of the price dump before, at $3900, a lot of people do panic selling because of continuous downfall and thinking that it could go at zero value but for those who have a strong stand with bitcoin, they keep on holding and knowing that it could still survive from the dumped.

Officially, the bitcoin price hit $22k. We are making a lot of money from this moment, and the price will increase. I hope you have your own target price to sell bitcoin because we will not know what will happen after bitcoin makes this new ATH. This bull-run period is much more different than the last one. This time, bitcoin is increasing stable and strongly with high trading value. Back in 2017 the reason o increase the price of bitcoin was getting famous between investors but this time due to the paypal and grayscale there are more reason to see bitcoin price increasing. Since the 20K area is already broken the next resistance area can be calculated using fibo projection to target the next levels.

Paypal is just a bullshit, It has only used Bitcoin's name to increase their users, It would be more logical to call it PayPal coin than Bitcoin.

It is true that grayscale has invested a lot but grayscale has not only invested in Bitcoin.
Grayscale has also invested in many altcoins. So has the price of altcoin gone up? No, Not increased.
So the fact is Grayscal has invested in Bitcoin because they realized that investing in Bitcoin is profitable.

I never thought that it would be achieved this year but we shouldn't really judge the community and bitcoin itself. This is just amazing and we've been waiting for this to happen for some years now. $23 800 seem to be the high and it happened in 24h period. BTC is up by 17%. Never seen it go up by that much.

I was reading some info when we finally reached the $20K barrier and I felt sooo happy. I started this year in crypto investing creating my own token (https://www.mintme.com) thanks to MintMe and watching it finally reach a new ATH is incredible. Next year is gonna be FIRE for BTC and cryptocurrencies!

Definitively, the positive effect that this causes in the community should not only be measured by the price itself, but that bitcoin is strengthened in its message as an integral project to promote a necessary economic change in society, either as a "legal" alternative. or as part of the existing Fiat environment.

Now let's hope that the 20,000 will become the new strip, right now $ 22,000 has become the wall for hours that strengthens it as a digital asset and as an integral project for an economic-social change.

Bitcoin after being in bearish market for almost 3 years finally surpass the $20k mark and made news on the news and social media, bitcoin didn't stop pumping at $20k we almost reached $24k last night and I think with the good news bitcoins price can even rise more.

This is exactly what is happening right now, most of my friends are now asking me how they can buy bitcoin when I literally told them to buy back when bitcoin was on sale last march.

When I saw Bitcoin reached $20,000, I got happy but not for a long time. I think it is just 5 seconds of happiness and then back to normal.
Things like this is already expected so nothing to get happy about. Yes it is another huge achievement for Bitcoin but this is expected to happen already right. What I didn't expect is it will go higher than $20,000 this year. That is where I surprised with Bitcoin these past few days but I totally forgot that it is Bitcoin after all. A coin where it goes up so much for a couple of days and goes down so much for a couple of days :D.

This is why the famous quote of Warren Buffet really applies in crypto. "Be greedy when people are fearful and be fearful when people are greedy" :D
I remember the time when I told one of my friends to buy when Bitcoin is at $10,000 price but he said that he will wait for a lower price. Now that Bitcoin went to $20,000 I asked him what is he feeling right now that he didn't followed what I said. He did say a few but meaningful words to me. I feel regret.

The recent Bitcoin price was long over due before now but certainly the market has done wondrously well when it hit All Time High few weeks back. When i came into Bitcoin, during the fist most impressed hype around the 2017, the little i known was enough for my likened and i fell in love with the technology which brought me to the limelight that Bitcoin will survive and become a better purpose in future. Few years after Bitcoin has done more than we expected, it's the best investment in the world of finance currently.

You should advice your friend not to buy bitcoin in FOMO and wait for the correction. Although bitcoin has reached 23000$ but it will make a correction and that will be the best time to buy the bitcoin. I have place my orders on 18,000 and 19,000$ and will buy at these levels.

I think at the end of the year the price of botcoin will be even crazier and it is not impossible that it will set a new record or something surprising and I really hope for it☺

That's totally right! We're just expecting bitcoin to reach $20k and we're fine with that. But it even surpassed that price. And that's just making all of us so so so happy! With this happening, I think there's a new saying that I notice here in this forum. Before, it's just "to the moon" but now, I'm seeing "to Mars". And I'm looking forward to seeing that happen. ;D

It was a surprise for us saw Bitcoin price hit $20k and within some little time space surpasses that value we though wouldn't be possible for Bitcoin this year 2020, it amazes me when i saw the current Bitcoin rice at $23k and still counting. Sincerely speaking this current Bitcoin price was expected to happen next year 2021(according to some experts) but becasue of new investors through institutional bodies the Bitcoin market had no choice to make all time high again. It was a big congratulations indeed to Bitcoin community for this long awaited milestone reached.

Bitcoin never fails to surprise and prove its capability. There are times when we doubt its value but it always rises and exceeds our expectations.It's only an indication that it could possibly reach higher in the future. Actually I was expecting a sharp correction by the end of this year, but it never materialized. I guess rather than pulling out some of their coins to fund their vacations, most of the cryptocurrency users are staying at home due to the worsening COVID 19 scenario. Normally we witness some sort of mass selloff during the last two weeks of December every year. This time it didn't happened.

I wouldn't like to guess the limits of BTC 2021, however it'd be going aagainst a longrunning trend if it didnt increase again on the year. I have quite a lot of faith that crypto is really gonna come to the fore
