Sup guys, I am looking for crypto developers/programmers/IT backgrounds/enthusiasts/investors to form a NYC-Crypto group and build a foundation. You have a strong guts to build a foundation via NYC-Crypto group, and yet your not introducing yourself here.
How can some one or developers/Programmer/IT/Enthusisast/Investors believe in you dude. Why don't you tell us about your idea
in cryptocurrency, or vision, mission something like that. Probably, in this way you might get all you want.

From what I know residents in the New York have a special license if he/she wants to do business related to cryptocurrencies so maybe you should have this first known if you have one or not because I don't think you can start or even plan a foundation of some sort related to cryptocurrencies if you don't have the license to do so. Also you won't be finding any devs or invesfors with what you have posted since it lacks information needed to get them interested in joining.

It's been a long time since I've looked into anything related to BTC, or opening my own business. From what I remember though Harlot is correct, you need a special license and it costs 6-figures just to get approved. New York isn't going to miss out on their cut.

So, you'd better be prepared to dish out $100,000 plus start-up costs or be willing to relocate from the beginning.

If you have a solid plan, then go for it - but make sure you take everything into account before you start recruiting people claiming to be a leader.

Is OP aware of this and how will he address this license issue, and why New York City, you should think of moving out if you want to launch a start-up without funding, move out, find another place then just come back if you love to be located in New York City, it's an expensive city to launch any business or start-up, this is how the city makes money, through license and tax.

Its a good thing to dream high yet it would be hard to reach if you yourself doesn't have enough pillars to support your reputation. You cannot just anonymously hire a team to work with you when you cannot even provide any proof of your past success in this field of business nor create and start a business at all. Start in small first dude, like doing blogs/vlogs related to crypto, or establish physical businesses and make it grow.

Overall, you can dream high but be knowledgeable first. Reaching success isn't that easy, you must climb a thousand ladders and mountains before you get there :)

Well moving out from a city or a state doesn't solve any problems when it comes to building a crypto project, he still have to undergo to the necessary procedures of registering his company/foundation before making it official. I don't even know why OP is looking for developers in the first place when he/she hasn't mentioned that they are ready to run. If he is giving jobs I think people will actually believe him if he is on a operating company/project not just planning one.

Interesting. Email me for details. I am doing market analysis (for startups) and startups valuation (for investors). Building a data collection tool for small businesses.

I live far from NY, but in the city I have several clients and partners.
