Bitcoin will stay and its not just about money its a new Technology future the banks have to accept bitcoin or they simply will be out of Business.

Also i think  that many alt coins will not survive but i think ethereum will stay together with bitcoin and stellar and neo are strong ones too.

But im sure the bitcoin will be not some wild imagination out law but will be here for long and banks will accept bitcoin and will finally say Yes bitcoin is good and ready to go to the masses.

i honestly don't see how ethereum can survive after a couple of years from now. it is just too useless to continue to exist and as the cost of maintaining its network grows with its declining value the security of its chain will be compromised and it will be the last nail in its coffin.
the decreasing value is practically guaranteed because by design ETH is inflationary since it has unlimited supply that is being printed at a crazy rate!

The adoption of Bitcoin continues to increase and one day I will not be surprised if banks also use and accept cryptocurrency. Bitcoin has a long way to go, in fact it is just beginning because the bitcoin continue it's development for the better future of it and of all the users and bitcoin enthusiast. Remember that we are now in a new generation with modern technology where everything is computer generated and digital currency will continue to exist no matter what happen.

To be honest I think you are one of those who only believed in Bitcoin because it is now rising up I think you are also the type who would later on cry when it goes to correction and the price declines.

To be honest. I also believe this. Most of the cryptocurrencies don't have the ability to survive. They will die. But Bitcoin will stay. Let's see what other Altcoins stay? I guess Ethereum, Binance Coin, Ripple, etc will be able to survive.

The thing with ETH is that its modular design allows for more integration and creation for more apps and programs. While the world may not need most of these apps on the fly, or even need them at a later date, the fact that that possibility already exists is a good thing, considering that if people needs something done on the platform they can do it. As for bitcoin, well, we know that it already proved its worth in terms of keeping value. It’s obviously here to stay without even outlining the reasons on the why.

More of the altcoin created is already remove from the market and no more use the same thing happens with other altcoins that we have right now most of them is useless and no idea why many people still continue supporting that kind of project .

Bitcoin will continue to be number one while in ETH it's depend if how this upgrade will help their network to survive for long term. The decision will up to the supporters if they can continue supporting it then possible it can survive the same with Bitcoin.

Banks will definitely accept cryptocurrencies in the future, Banks will definitely adapt their business to the trending ones. so it's not important to discuss this confusing topic. :D

I would suggest you to do proper research, is banks can continue as long as they want without Bitcoin or Ethereum because fiat cannot depend on anything which is volatile. I do agree with you on terms that banks do need to adopt blockchain technology which they will eventually do by creating their own stable coin instead of using Bitcoin. I personally don't wish banks to adopt Bitcoin because because was created to stop bank's influence on our money which will become void if this happens.

Bitcoin and Ethereum have gone so far since they have passed all the tests of time. There are already huge businesses that are starting to adopt and accept cryptocurrency. I believe that it would have a huge part on the growth of crypto. Ethereum could rise when the price of Bitcoin rises as well. There are even huge merchants who are planning to accept cryptocurrency so I'm sure that Bitcoin and Ethereum could possibly grow and rise continuously. We only need more adoptions.

Because of traffic congestion and block validation duration in the network, I don't think Bitcoin can be used in retails for example, buying groceries. On the other hand, Eth2.0 has almost everything we need for almost any kind of application. Smart contracts has proved it all. So, what I think is Bitcoin being gold similar to physical gold which we don't trade for daily routine activities. But revamped Eth has a huge potential to be on main stream.

I haven't included any other coins as OP has started the discussion about these two. Yes, there are many strong coins out there specially stable coins which can act as backbone of banking ecosystem.

I agree but do you think that we will be able to spend bitcoins as we use fiat? Count buying a fevistick glue from a superstore or let it be a pair of kids shoes. Now think of them buying with Ethereum (or ERC20 tokens).

We have no problem with bitcoin. And there is no question and doubt about it. For most altcoins, it's likely that many of them will be exterminated in the market and altcoin investors will start to realize that they have to consolidate their investments into one particular altcoin. Ethereum could be a choice or any other altcoin that's very popular. But what if most of these altcoins will just into a merge and will start supporting one coin, could be bitcoin and for alts Ethereum. Although it's hard to imagine that someday there will be a closeness to most of these investors if there are always developers that keeps on making new projects and will say that they have fixed the other coins fault and lack of features.

If network congestion is your only argument then you have to know that ethereum network congestion is 10 times worse than bitcoin's not to mention that ETH 2.0 has never even addressed these issues despite what ETH pumpers want you to believe, it was mainly a hype mainly to pump it up.

You are terribly wrong here. Stable coins are the most centralized coins in cryptocurrency world, their only usage is a niche one for traders and nothing more. Not to mention that his "banking ecosystem" that you are talking about will never even touch any of them, instead they are creating their own shitcoin.

I agree with your opinion about bitcoin which is a revolutionary future technology. However, your opinion about the bank that will accept bitcoin is still completely imagined. Bitcoin will still be widely used even if banks and governments do not accept bitcoins.

For some altcoins will remain, not only ethereun, there are many other altcoins that are on the 100 CMC list.

Bitcoin is proving again and again that none of Cryptocoin will replace it, many said Eth will dominate crypto market in few years but unfortunately there is no any specific pump as Eth is still dependent on BTC, Eth 2.0 was a hot topic before it launch date but it looks like it needs more time to perform. Still Eth is my favourite asset and I believe it boom in upcoming days.

I think bitcoin will not stay forever because it started pumping since the beginning of this year till now which many investors have use it to make enough profit from their business. Since other cryptocurrencies are preparing to over take bitcoin before the end of this year. Many other cryptocurrencies investors are experiencing the positive change already in the market, that is making them to have hope with their coins.

I guess that is why people want to have more and more bitcoin from a long time ago. They do not want to miss the chance to change their life. Bitcoin and ethereum will have a long time journey, and it will not stop for the next 10 years, and even bitcoin will become more popular in the future. Even if we all have passed away, we can give our bitcoin to our grandson as a legacy, so they can continue what we did with bitcoin, and I am sure they will have a better life than us.

I would recommend you do a legitimate examination, is banks can proceed as long as they need without Bitcoin or Ethereum in light of the fact that fiat can't rely upon anything which is unstable. I do concur with you on terms that banks do have to receive blockchain innovation which they will, in the long run, do by making their own steady coin as opposed to utilizing Bitcoin. I for one don't wish banks to receive Bitcoin on the grounds that was made to stop the bank's impact on our cash which will become void if this occurs.

For me, I also believe bitcoin will stay. But who knows the reality of what will happen after 10 years? We can't assume where technology will go, perhaps there would be more developed technology, and we would jump into it. Same as when bitcoin wasn't created, we hadn't assumed about Bitcoin technology. But yes, If the current cryptocurrency technology exists, then Bitcoin and some other cryptocurrencies will exist, no doubt about that. I am positive about Bitcoin. Yeah it is here to stay. But for how long? Nobody knows. It might not exists tomorrow or might become obsolete after few decades/centuries. What if a huge flaw has been found which can't be fixed? What if a better technology has been invented which solves all the current problems crypto currencies have? Remember, everything is replaceable one way or the other.

Oh yes, banks will eventually start accepting bitcoin, but in a centralized way. Smaller financial institution have already start doing that. Banks will catch up soon.

For a long term investment, I'm sure that bitcoin and Ethereum are really gonna stay and will continue to increase their market value.

A lot of popular cryptocurrency in the market that has a solid demand is gonna stay for long term investment, but for sure compared to other dead tokens in the market bitcoin demand is already solid.

But still, just like the bitcoin technology that is gonna last for a long time, new technology could also be created in the future that is probably gonna be better than bitcoin that is sure will have a big effect on the market price.

Honestly, the ETH 2.0 is a flop the way it is at present. All the expectations of it correcting the abnormalities in the ETH chain and transaction fees now look like a mirage. I have consistently maintained that the greatest strength of ETH is the smart contract, with other projects being able to build on its chain. Otherwise, ETH would've collapsed a long time ago.

Another point OP should understand is that Bitcoin has come to stay. It's the bedrock of the crypto industry. The day Bitcoin becomes worthless is the day the whole crypto industry goes down the drains.

I can't assuredly say that for ETH.

Sometimes I'm confused, I really wonder which side are you on cause I just read a thread where you stated that bitcoin is going to collapse after reaching the "highest high" according to you, now your here, saying something totally different, how do it :D?,because honestly it's either you are a believer of bitcoin or not no two ways about it.
Of course bitcoin is here for the long term run, the blockchain is a new technology that will be needed in the future, I don't know about banks going out of business cause of bitcoin, instead of that to happen I know the government will prefer to place a ban on the use of bitcoin within that country, the people will definitely move back to banks since using bitcoin no longer allowed, it's best bitcoin and bank Co-exist together.
So many altcoins won't survive, you know why? It's because they don't really have a good use case, the utility isn't something that will be much needed in the future, Ethereum on the other hand hasn't been doing well either, base on how I see if the current problems facing it isn't solved it's not going to be around for long, I just hope the ETH 2.0 is really worth the wait.

I see that btc and eth was build to collect all the wealth and send to blockchain becouse one day whole world will be tokenized.
There will be Shake offs but at the end the bankers will pay you top dollar just to make you sell your btc and eth.

Bitcoin and ethereum are mostly the crowd's favorite investments. While ethereum at the moment is not really in good shape but with its platform that has high real life usage, hopefully it will get even better especially with the launching of ethereum 2.0. With bitcoin, it's always on top and no one would argue about it. For its 11 years of existence, bitcoin keeps on satisfying us with its real worth and value.

Future is always uncertain. But seeing the graph of life we can guess something that probably happen. Sometimes our guesses comes true and sometimes not. So in case of corporate life it can't be say exact whatever will happen. To seeing the position of BTC ,we hope that it will go so far and stay permanently. Those inflationary coins won't make it to the last day (in the nearest future), ranging from ethereum, Binance coin and Ripple won't make it, though they are doing well right now but future won't be happy with them be inflationary coins. The only coin we should be seeing int the future that will stand firm will be Bitcoin in my open view, becasue it has a limited supply unlike these coins be mentioned above.

ethereum is strong in the market, ethereum will not be easily swayed by any issues including market decline and ethereum will return to its best position. So I think Ethereum will stay with Bitcoin no matter what the current situation is in the market

Ethereum is really powerful altcoins and yes bitcoin is also who is most potential in cryptocurrency. Ethereum is will remain here for more years and I really believe that it will grow the people who invested to it. But the rest of the altcoins I guess will really survive but both ethereum and bitcoin is sure will survive in the future.

Bitcoin has been in the game for a really long time already and I've read lots saying it is bitcoin's 12th birthday. Imagine that, 12 years of constantly being on top, that just make it clear that bitcoin will stay no matter what. Same goes with ethereum, it was able to stay next to bitcoin with the highest value and its value is also increasing a lot right now. Those who doubted eth and btc will definitely regret more in the future because we all know how much potential both has.

Of course they will stay and they might be even introduced within Universities before being accepted in banks. Although some Countries allow their local wallets to transact with different kind of banks, it is possible that we can see a surge in the numbers of people studying Blockchain Technologies with relation to Financial Technology.

BTC and ETH, have proven to have use case among crypto users. They will exist for long time because of its purpose to the community. They are like the frontiers of crypto. Without them, it seems crypto space is incomplete. I don't think another alt will replace their existence.

rich people are very smart people, when they buy something, they think about making a profit and also think about the future of the thing for the next 10 years. If paypal has accepted bitcoin and many rich people are buying bitcoin Is because they know that bitcoin will stay for a long time and that governments are already forced to accept bitcoin and that they will be added will be more centralized and stricter KYC systems, but bitcoin will not disappear , will only be regulated


in the case of altcoins the issue will be very complicated for regulators and altcoin owners

My opinion is that BTC will crash even ETH and then other crypto will grow up. It's just a question of technology.

I know that it's hard to make Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies regulated but I'm sure we need to do it and I hope our governments, banks, and global companies will succeed with this in the next years. banks are the one that notoriously steal money from the public , they dont give you money thats impossible and most especially most banks are not into cryptocurrency  but let say if they are willing to pay money for your crypto , that sounds nice . just demand that you want a million dollar .

The utilzation and adoption are the factor which can make the coin will survive. Indeed, bitcoin has been legalized by most investor and some instutionals as an investment place, but not for the payment transaction and an alternative as sending money tool.

The price movement since this pandemic came is so impressive even beating gold price movements that have been recognized since ancient times. That is one factor that can make bitcoin still stand like a gold, but for altcoin I don't have any idea that they can be recognized as an investment place or like money utilization. Most of them just follow bitcoin price movement even worse than bitcoin, so I don't think they will stand for long time.

As long as the US does not stop printing money, the bull market will continue

Bitcoin and ethereum are indeed very valuable coins for now and in the future. Bitcoin has been able to survive until now and its price continues to increase and is increasingly valuable. 2021 is a historic year for bitcoin as it hits an ATH of up to $ 34k USD. and for ethereum it always follows where the bitcoin price is. When the bitcoin price goes up, ethereum has also increased until now it will reach a new ATH soon. However, the problem is that the ETH Gas Fee is too expensive, the more expensive the gas fee needed for the network. Ethereum 2.0 is still not perfect and it still doesn't matter.

Ethereum is a good coin. Now a days, the eth transaction cost is very high. And too much busy. Because there are many coins that are built on ethereum blockchain that why ethereum blockchain takes too much time.
I think if the price of ethereum is still increasing  then no one uses this blockchain.  Bitcoin is the King of all the currencies but ethereum cannot stand with bitcoin in future.
