Fees will be too high within the next years. It's the only way to face the scalability problem and keep bitcoin as a medium of exchange and not only as investment and store of value. But we should still not to forget that this type of exchanges are custodial exchanges.

Of course, I don't expect miracles, but if they've started too late for this bubble/bull run, maybe this will be working/in use for the next one (again, for most/all services, not only Kraken). Once this is solved with lightening adoption, it will help bitcoin move up on the adoption ladder and a win also for the lightening technology.
