Title: Tron alternative options ..
Post by: Wahyuihib on December 18, 2020, 06:13:11 PM
Due to the high cost of ethereum in transactions, every time I make a withdrawal, I always use TRON, as the main choice because of the small cost.
what do you think, are you also doing the same thing?

I don't do the same. How much usually is the fee for Tron per transaction? Dogecoin and XRP are much what I use but I'm not an investor of these coins. I appreciate their quick and cheap transfers in these times.
When I don't find the fee for bitcoin cheap and the same as Ethereum, these two altcoins are my alternative.

Mostly I use ethereum only no matter how high the transaction cost is but the fact is that I am a long term holder so i have to make transactions on rare occasions only that is why I bear even the higher transaction costs. On the other hand I have seen people switching to tron for payments especially companies that were paying their employees via eth have switched to tron for cheaper fee.

I often use XRP, TRX and DOGE if I make large withdraw transaction but if I only withdraw small amounts I often choose ETH.  I also looked at the Fee percentage applied by each exchange when we made a withdraw because it would provide a little solution for us to withdraw with cheap fee types of Coin.

yes, sometimes i use tron but sometimes i use doge my friend, because the transactions fees from both network is very cheap

I'm not really that often using trx as my alternative when the fees either on bitcoin or ethereum network being so high, most of the time I would tend to use doge instead of trx.

The first priority I give when withdrawing is Tron coin. Because troncoin is listed in most of all exchanges. When transferring funds, i convert it into Tron coin and withdraw it. The fee is only 1 Trx. Fees are Nil from one wallet to another on Tron coin wallet in blockchain. In my opinion, Tron coin is the best coin for withdrawal.

It's more cheap to use XRP than TRX if the transaction fee and speed are your only concern. The only problem for this kind of coin was the volatility. Even a short period time will have a significant changes in rate if you are just going to use it for transferring, It's better to use stablecoin so that you can assure that you will send almost same amount of value in Fiat with same minimal transaction fee.

Yes im. I have been using tron as a substitution for ethereum when its chain was getting crowded. When I was using tron and it's charged me a few tron as a fee to create a transaction in the network. I remember if tron is also will give you 0 fees when you are wanna withdrawing USDT TRC20 asset.

This chain could be the best chain to be used as an alternative chain too. These days ethereum is always facing a very difficult situation due to the gas fees.

I make use of ripple for lower transactions, about ripple, the fee is very low and also that the transaction is almost instant, it takes just five minutes or slightly more time for transaction to complete. It is the best in my opinion. Also I do make use another best which is digibyte, the transaction also is almost instant with a very low transaction fee.

This chain could be the best chain to be used as an alternative chain too. These days ethereum is always facing a very difficult situation due to the gas fees.
I thought ethereum 2.0 was creation also solve the ethereum platform scalability issue, but it seems this has not be well implemented. Because, like you meant like the transaction fee on ethereum platform is still high.

Bitcoin transactions are slow and costly. Ethereum transaction fees are currently high. Sometimes, when the blockchain is crowded, this is not very convenient. I also like tron's quick and easy transfer. If you choose a TRON alternative, I think XRP will be a good choice for me.

TRON suits very well for small USDT payments.

For USDT Tron is the best choice since USDT is also on Tron network but you can't send ERC20 tokens using Tron or can you? There are other crypto projects that have low costs transaction fee too like Litecoin and XRP but I'm sure that if Tron value rise up the transaction fee will also go up, it will be same thing for every other altcoins with cheap transaction fee too

I always agree that tron is a much much better currency to do transactions if you need to just send someone money. Obviously why we use bitcoin and ethereum is not just to send money around, we use them for a lot of other things as well, and biggest one is probably trading and investing so that doesn't really apply here. However if you just need to pay someone, or you need to buy something, best choice is to buy Tron for sure without a doubt.

I actually believe tron will get higher in price as well because of this, usually projects that are cheap and used a lot are seen as a good way to invest because if it is cheap to buy and send that means people will buy and send and that will cause the price to go up until it is sold, plus it has a erc20 token like situation with the blockchain as well, which I think will increase the request for tron as well.

The situation that surrounds ETH high transaction is not yet clear to me. Why the high fees? This has made lot of people to raise questions and to those that are you to get an answer, they resolve to make their transactions using another means. And tron is one of those means, I personally have been making you use. Since I noticed bthe high fee. They charge as low as 1trx which is still pretty fair

The ethereum transaction fee has increased a lot in the last few months. We thought ETH 2.0 would solve this problem. But this problem has not been solved yet.  As a result, everyone is using different blockchain technology for transactions. Just like you are using TRON for withdrawal, I am also using LTC (Litecoin) for withdrawal. So far Litecoin's transaction fee is much lower. You can try it.

When there are so many txs got stuck to be verified by the block and that will make the block will be only taking the tx with high fees to be validated before the tx that contains the small fees. That created congestion in the network and it's also making the fees was increasing a lot. Tron is a good alternative especially to send USDT TRC20 as alternative for USDT erc20

Never use Tron before I always use dogecoin and xrp but now that xrp in a hot water and there is a chance that it will get delisted from major exchanges it  is nice to know that there is an alternative.

Tron is always an alternative but can't replace Ethereum. Tron may be preferred for small business transactions, but Ethereum will always be needed for large transactions. Nobody can dethrone Ethereum  :D

Confident leaders are Bitcoin and Ethereum. Why look for alternative options when everything is already clear. At first glance, they seem to be the same competing projects. If we talk about profitability and payback period, then Bitcoin and Ethereum in this matter do not differ much in these indicators.

I think a huge number of community members are doing this to avoid high gas fee and this has really shown us the value of tron as an alternative platform because I have always found its transactions to be cheap and fast so im enjoying tron network for transfers.

If transaction fees and speed are the only concerns, Dogecoin and Litecoin are some widely accepted coins with low fees. Tron surely is a good option and there are some tron based tokens that are virtually free to transact and many exchanges even provides zero fees withdrawal. There are many other cheap and fast coins like nano but it's not that widely available in exchanges.

You are not the only one employing this, some people see the fees on ethereum as too ridiculous and move their funds using Tron, at times when I want to move funds from exchange to exchange and see huge the need to reduce my transaction fee, I first convert the funds to Tron and convert it back to BTC on the other exchange

what you do is very good, always looking for alternatives that might be used but I stick to ethereum and even if it's still high then I agree to do an alternative with XRP which can and is good to do and many have tried it. This will affect the future for Ethereum if it does not want to improve to change to its original goal.
I haven't and didn't expect to try TRON for now.

Litecoin and XRP transaction fee are good too, these are perfect alternative to Tron, presently Ethereum is hurting me, I can't sell some of my ERC20 tokens that costs around 20$ to 100$ because the transaction fee for sending is over 12$ to 19$, this is insanely crazy, I'm wondering what it will be like when Ethereum surge over 1500$

TRON is not only about low fees. It has TRC20 tokens which is almost the same as ERC20, but with much lower fees. The only problem is that there are not so many popular tokens on TRON, but it can be solved with crosschain transfers between Ethereum to TRON.

Check our TofuDefi project (https://tofudefi.com/), we are going to solve this issue.

I agree TRON is already a good option but I can vouch for another coin XRP. Though XRP is now under siege, we can't deny that it's a fast, reliable, and cheaper alternative for various transactions. I usually used XRP since it is supported by our local exchange but now that its future is full of uncertainty and some delisting from other exchanges, I don't know what's a better alternative to use locally.

That's true and it makes everything easier for everyone, instead of paying unnecessary fees for transactions irrespective of the amount, it is just better doing so with Tron and it is also fast as well, but the only issue is, it is limited to some coins; that is, assuming it is a coin you want to hold and it is not possible through Tron blockchain, then you will have to pay the needed fees. Also, just to add as well, in cases where it is not possible with Tron, there are other coins with lower transaction fees such as XLM. I just hope the Ethereum 2.0 will be able to do something good about the transaction fees, because it is not getting funny any longer, spending high amounts on transactions fees will only bring about discouragements.

Yes, that's one of the things that contributes to alt season. Transactions fees get too high so people start using alternatives.

During the high ethereum gas costs and high exchange costs as of late I have somewhat changed to tron too where ever I could and there is clear contrast the exchanges are modest and quick generally I paid only 1 tron as expense which resembles almost zero. So I think tron is incredible other option and prepared for adiption I see large future for tron.

If Ethereum reach a new all time high this time around it will be a big problem for small investors to make transactions on Ethereum blockchain most especially the tokens (smart contract), the gas fee is the only let down affecting Ethereum blockchain right now
