Title: Coinbase wallet issue Post by: menoiazei on December 20, 2020, 10:05:45 AM For some reason last 2 or 3 days when i try to send or receive bitcoin on my coinbase wallet i get the message "Acount restricted, You are currently unable to bull and sell crypto on coinbase..." All the people that i know of that use coinbase are having the same issue too When i try to withdraw fiat out of the wallet this seems to work ok I wonder if anyone is experiencing the same issue with coinbase and how it can be resolved ??? In short, Coinbase uses an automated system that checks user accounts and blocks them if it finds anything suspicious. They state that the two main reasons for this restriction of user accounts are chargeback and the lack of some information that would confirm your identity. Read their official explanation and send an e-mail to their customer service accordingly. Sometimes buys and deposits can be disabled if your account is not yet recognized as a trusted payment source. Coinbase uses an automated system to help us protect the community and our site from fraud. There are two common reasons for this type of hold: If we have received a chargeback when attempting to process one of your trades, it may be preventing us from completing further orders. If you are aware of any chargebacks or reversals that have occurred on a recent trade, please include this information when contacting us. In other cases, we may just need some additional information to confirm your ownership of the payment methods added to your account. If you have not done so already, please make sure there is an ID document uploaded at https://www.coinbase.com/verifications/documents/new for each person who has information verified on your Coinbase account. This will help expedite our review process. Coinbase would probably still reply you, but with your complaint about account restriction, I will suggestion you to use a wallet that you will have full control over in order to avoid this from being happening again. If you have the full control over your wallet by using noncustodial wallet that generate you private key, you will be able to do anything with your funds at anytime you want unlike custodial wallets which you do not have full control over in a way the party providing the service can let you not to have any control over it. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5223918.0) and they are the only person that can help you with your restiction problem.so better wait for their reply just always update your message always in their support . The link I give above is even contacting coinbase for more than 50x base on what he said. All the people that i know of that use coinbase are having the same issue too I haven't opened a Coinbase account in a few days. but i didn't get any message. does it feel safe? maybe there are some obstacles that you face, have you ever booked a ticket before, so that this problem was followed up? if you have not, try ordering, so you know what makes your account limited. I think the issue now resolved, i withdraw my crypto to another wallet that i have full control of, and now they want 72 hours to make that withdrawall?! Anyway lesson learned! Well, good to know that your problem has been solved. That is perhaps a time perimeter to get confirmed your transaction on Coinbase, that is the problem of the custodial wallet, they had high fees and also low confirmation in any transaction compared to the NON-Custodial wallet which is very accurate upon having transaction and based on the mempool. Next time, you should read first the terms and conditions on the platform before using it and have a transaction and avoid getting stuck. For now, you have to do is to wait patiently when the transaction confined and arrive at your full control wallet.Anyway lesson learned! |
