Title: [closed] 2 Gridseed 5chip miners (needs repair)
Post by: Pistachio on March 25, 2014, 04:56:45 PM
Hi,

I have two Gridseed miners that need some (hopefully minor) repairs. They were running fine for a month and then I made the mistake of plugging them into a non-powered USB hub connected to a LightningASIC TP-link. Both of them immediately started to make a funny noise and I could smell burning plastic. One of them will still light up red and the other will not light up at all.

Post any offers to buy or to repair. Shipping from USA. Escrow is fine but buyer pays any fees.

Both miners worked fine on LTC only and dual LTC/BTC mining. I can include a LightningASIC controller for free if you want one.

Replied.

In case anyone else is interested, I am asking 0.35btc shipped with tracking if you would like to buy both miners. I think they can be fixed but I do not have the know-how to do it myself. Escrow is always accepted.
