It is very hard to write something interesting for others to read. On my opinion the best stories come out of the author actually experienced something similar he is writing about. Without living through similar feelings its very hard to put yourself in the shoes of someone else. That's probably why I also like auto biographies so much. But making it interesting is a big task that is why it is an art which can't be executed by everyone perfectly.
