Title: How to adjust and work with the bet365 live streaming
Post by: Pmalek on December 24, 2020, 03:49:35 PM
Bet365 is one of the biggest bookmakers in the world. Although it is not a crypto sportsbook/casino, many gamblers use it even on this forum. One of its best features is the live streaming. Depending on where you are from, you can view a wide range of sports and leagues. From football, basketball, ice hockey, greyhounds, horse racing, to Esports, and much more. If you are into sports betting, their live streaming offers players a chance to watch many matches live.

The problem with bet365 is that they keep changing their layout and find new ways to 'hide' their live streaming feature. A few seasons ago, the streaming was so fast, that it was a few seconds ahead of many sports channels on satellite and cable for many leagues. They have adjusted this delay, and now you will rarely find a stream that will give you a significant advantage.

After their most recent update, it is no longer possible to open a separate window for the live streams by logging in and clicking on Extra from the top of the page and clicking on Live Streaming.

As you can see, the feature has been removed:

https://talkimg.com/images/2023/11/12/zaXLa.jpeg

That is why I have decided to create this quick guide with pictures and step-by-step instructions on how to activate, adjust the size, and work with the live streaming on bet365. For those who have never used bet365, in order to watch their streams, you need to register an account, deposit money into it, and for some sports, make a bet on the match you want to live stream. But in most cases, betting on the match is not needed. In my experience, wagering is only needed for horse racing and greyhound races.

1.
Once you are logged in, click on the In-Play button at the top. You can then browse through the various sports that are currently played (not all of them have live streams) or click on the Streaming button to get a list of matches with available live streams. From the available matches, select the one you want to watch be either clicking on the correct match or the small play buttons highlighted on the right.

https://talkimg.com/images/2023/11/12/zadeo.jpeg

2.

To activate the live streaming for your match, click on the highlighted Play button.

https://talkimg.com/images/2023/11/12/zawGT.jpeg

3.

The streaming window is very small, but we can make it bigger. Click on the highlighted button to open a new window just for the streaming.

https://talkimg.com/images/2023/11/12/zaAfl.jpeg

4.

A new window will open that we can work with. For the next step, you need to use Mozilla Firefox. I haven't been able to find the same feature on Chrome. When the new window opens, stop the streaming and wait a little bit. You will notice that a new button appears at the bottom right on the stream. Click on it to activate picture-in-picture mode.

https://talkimg.com/images/2023/11/12/zaHK1.jpeg

5.

You will now see something like this:

https://talkimg.com/images/2023/11/12/zaZHm.jpeg

You can now adjust the size of the streaming window, move it around your screen, and make it fit together with other tabs and programs you have running.

If you are using multiple computer screens, you can extend your desktop and move the streaming window on one screen and leave the bet365 match centre on the other.

SUGGESTION

To skip steps 3-5, there is an add-on that you can install for both Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox that will maximize a video to cover the full screen with just one click. The add-on is called Maximize Video and you can add it to your browser from the following links:

Chrome -  https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/maximize-video/bfpkgjlnboeecjmnbhbknmemmckmpomb?hl=en
Firefox - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/maximize-video/

If you want to search for it yourself, just enter 'Maximize Video' in your search engine and you will come across the same links.

After you started the live stream as explained in step #2, you can click on the Maximize Video button in your browser as highlighted below. You will notice that the video on screen will be selected and highlighted in red. Just click anywhere in the video and it will be automatically adjusted for full screen.

Enjoy!

That is a good guide regarding the live streaming in bet365,I used to bet there but have stopped betting.I liked their streaming of all kind of rare events but nowadays there are websites that stream almost every game that is played.Unless you always bet on a rare Championship or a really low division there is no advantage of bet365 stream over other stream channels.

It's a nice guide, just wonder though why they are trying to hide the watch stream feature of the Bet365 site.

Just to make it clear to anyone that you cant watch the live stream if you didn't place a bet, actually, watching a stream on bet365 isn't free. To watch it for free you need to fund your account in order to access the live streaming feature.

Alternatively, there are too many stream channels that have free to watch.

Bet365 has the best streams I have ever come across. There are no ads, no need to download weird extensions, plugins, or software. It's basically a click and play kind of service. The streams are of good quality and they don't lag or freeze. Of course, you need a stable Internet connection. I really don't think you will be able to find similar quality on any of the free sites that offer sports streaming. If there are any, I would be interested in checking them out.

About the leagues they cover. You are right about the fact that they have a large number of streams for lower leagues. But don't forget they are also streaming the German Bundesliga, Spanish Primera, Italian Serie a, French La Ligue, etc.

This is just perfect. I have been struggling the other day on how to navigate the site with their new layout, but decided to give it up since I cannot really figure it out. It’s just too bad that I am not a tech savvy and do not have enough patience to try to figure it out. Thank you for sharing this, attaching images to instructions are so much better.

Thanks for the tip mate, I'm happy that I was able to access the site although I'm not really playing on this site. The famous streaming site that I'm using which is http://crackstreams.com/ is currently down, I don't know what happen but I can't find a site that offers a free live streaming, so I will certainly try this.

I think the website was ban, they have a http://crackstreams.net/ now but it's hard to load the video, probably this one will be ban soon.

I'm currently exploring the site, I saw there's a live streaming for NBA, I click the streaming link but there's a prompt that I need to log in, so I have to create an account now.  ;D

they just change the .com to .net but the rest of the name are verry simillar to the other , you dont need to wonder why the new one will also soon got banned . if they smart they can just make a new totally different site name to prolong the life of the streaming site .

nice info . didnt knew that streaming service on this site is paid but i think thats how a live stream work  . there are even pay per view sites and live streaming service . this can also be the reason why sites that offers free streaming service are being shutdown because they are illegal .

Yes, bet365 streams NBA matches but you have to register an account and deposit some money in it.

You aren't paying for the live streaming service per se. The streams are mean for players and gamblers on bet365. To be a player, you need to have funds in your account. But you don't need to wager money regularly. Once a year, maybe. The streams are free.

I actually tried to register, and it requires you to deposit money, I can't even find my country in the list, lol... so I guess, I will not be able to use this free streaming.  Crackstream.net is working but it's not loading well though my connection is good.

Thank you for the detailed instructions. Before, I had to watch live broadcasts wherever I had to and very often not in the best quality and with constant interruptions. I will definitely test this service, as it really looks cool.

If you just want to use Bet365 for the live streaming, you can register an account and choose a different country for the time being; then deposit some money using f.e. paysafecard. Afaik they don't KYC you right away, but be prepared that your deposit is lost, if you can't pass it. Minimum deposit should be something around $10, so it's not a bad deal for all the streaming they offer.

tyKiwanuka is correct regarding the KYC. Eventually you will have to pass KYC which includes address verification as well. When I did it a few years ago, they sent me a letter to my address with a code attached. The code has to be entered in your profile to complete the verification. The minimum deposits depend on the payment method used. I used Neteller back in the day when I created my account. The minimum deposit was €20, so make sure you check their site, read the FAQs, etc., to be familiar with the deposit requirements.

@freedomgo
You could try with a VPN or enter a different country during the registration process. They are pretty strict when it comes to VPN usage, and a few VPNs I have tested can't load the site at all.

I think watching live streaming needs a good internet connection so you do not get into trouble for the lag of the streaming. With the television channel available in many countries, that can help people who do not have a good internet connection can watch directly from their television.

If that site needs to fill KYC, I think that will depend on people themselves, whether they will still use that site to bet or search for the other gambling site.

And for VPN, if they are strict about using VPN, maybe searching for the other betting site will be a good idea. But if people still want to know more about the site, they can directly visit and register on that site.

Is this legal?
I know the gambling website is legal but how about the streaming?
There are policies that cannot be streamed without authority or you will need to pay more if you will use it for a different purpose.
Just asking.
We all want to watch live stream sports games but that means taking out profits from sports management, right?
If it is, damn I will sign up too.  :D That might save me some money and rather gamble it.

Would be extremely helpful for people who are good at gambling and at the same time who might be benefited from the live streaming. You won't just earn but also get recognition. This is real helpful. I do believe that most of the people like me didn't really know about nowhere the features was hidden lol. Thanks.
But one question* if this makes their site more popular why do they try and hide it ?*
If you want to actually do but you don't have any options you can just use screen recorder just in case, it's free and it works wonders.
Gambling site is legal ofc and I do think streaming should be too since most people playing video games etc...they do it every second. It is really really common. The laws will ultimately depend on where you live.

I think that they are legal, this would never go unnoticed for far too long. I also found a blog that says that their livestream is legal, the blog says that it is free although it is a 2019 article. I think that paying more for betting is justifiable in their case because most games are pay-per view and they are livestreaming it for free. To be honest, some policies are not that sharpened enough to be always enforced, like a hydra, trying to cut of the head of one only sprouts two more so the authorities might have grown tired of repeat offenders, they might be enforced for a year but some of them lose sheen as time goes by.

That's awesome, thank you for this guide. I am a huge fan of sports and don't even bet so much lately. So even without betting having a chance to watch sport events live is great. You could probably save money when cancelling the sky sports subscription and just switch to a free provider. Is there a minimum you need to bet per month to have access to the stream?

Are you talking about Sky Sports UK? That wouldn't work. Bet365 wont let you stream matches played in your own country/region. So if you are based in the UK, you wont be able to stream UK sports. I guess that is the deal they made with local providers precisely so that people don't cancel their TV subscriptions and start watching bet365 streams. Besides that, the English Premier League is not streamed live. I have seen Championship matches in the list. There are also lower leagues and cup competitions.

Is there a minimum you need to bet per month to have access to the stream?
I am not sure how it is in your country. It might be different for everyone. I assume you need to make an opening bet. After that, you need to make a bet at least once a year. I no longer use bet365 for my betting needs. But they send me an email every year informing me that my account will get locked if it's no longer being used. To prevent that, I just make a small bet and everything is back to normal.

This might help during the registration or to keep my IP different, but I'm afraid my internet connection will become slow when I used a VPN.
I tried VPN before and I drag my internet speed and we know live streaming requires good internet connection.

he wants free access to live streaming but he ask if how much is the needed amount of bets before he can continue to watch .

that wont be free if he do that but bet365 isnt free because they ask for those terms to meet before someone starts using their stream service but why it will not be the same for other country .

they can restrict other country to use their service but why will allowed countries need to pay differently to others .

Country restriction is based on the license they have, just like in our crypto sportsbook here, some countries are not accepted and they will detect it based on your IP, so the solution here is to change the IP address by using VPN. Watching a live streaming for free, that's a good offer but the site is not gonna allow it for free, they will say, you have to pay the play. ;D

They have always some local rules to be followed like any other bookmaker.
I am not using bet365 from awhile (like 15 or more years) since they removed in my country UK horse racing  :( (like in the same period with betfair.com ---> in Italy betfair.it)

they can restrict other country to use their service but why will allowed countries need to pay differently to others .

Probably a need for some bet or atleast being active in using it or betting even in smallest amount is fine. I don't usually subscribe to stream and just watch in YouTube nowadays but having this option to watch even in small bet is really amazing knowing also that there are many in forum that might use it often now than having subscriptions. We can use that amount to bet already.

Thanks for the helpful advice. Haven't gone that site yet so I am kind of puzzled as to why they would downplay their most profitable venture. Are they trying to switch the customer's attention to a different product in their site? Because it's not working. From the way you guys are so happy about this (and it's not a bad thing, mind you) still goes to show that it is the most sought after product in their site.

Oh. I see, so basically people are viewing them in the site which is a bit costly on the owner's side since it's basically live stream without ROI. I would also be happy myself if I would be in your position knowing that there is this way I can bypass the system to watch a live game, being a sports fan myself.

It is always better to watch a live streamin in which rhe size of the window you watch fitted on the way you wanted to be. Bet365 live streaming is new to me and I am also wanting to learn on how to do it. For now, I am relying on other platform for online streaming like the NBA. Facebook and youtube are the most common platform I used in online streaming. Well, there could be a little delay but that is not a problem.

Yea, you can use it anywhere where there is a running video. Even on YouTube or Facebook. It wouldn't really make sense since both platforms have a button to maximize the window, but the option is still there.

If you watch the matches you bet on you will have a much better overview of what is going on compared to if you are only watching the odds go up and down. That might be one of the reasons. Helping you to make better and wiser betting decisions is not in their best interest.

Here in our country watching a live streaming sports were costly and the data or video transmission wasn't good too that's why i do prefer to watch it on youtube which of course a slightly less cost compare to sky sports subscription. I am an avid fan of sports especially football and basketball and i am looking for a good and yeah less or small amount of bets. But so far having this thread was a huge help to a 365 live streaming bettors and thanks for the helpful tips.

Pmalek, I used to hunt those streams in the past while I was serious about sports betting, but then I discovered satellite and CS, and it never occurred to me to watch streams again. For 5 EUR per month you can watch literally hundreds of sports programs (HD), but still your method is much simpler for the average user.

As for questions and comments, why did they decide to hide the service a little deeper - certainly to make live betting more difficult, and certainly to reduce the load on their servers a bit. I wouldn’t be surprised if they introduce a rule in the future that the stream can only be watched after player made a bet.

I am quite familiar with CS and IPTV as well and there seems to be a big market for that in the Balkans. This method is even cheaper, assuming things stay the way they are now, but the availability of games and picture quality is lower.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they introduce a rule in the future that the stream can only be watched after player made a bet.
I am sure this will happen sooner or later. It's already in affect for horse and greyhound racing. They will probably look to introduce it gradually, so as not to piss of the community too much.

This method is even cheaper, assuming things stay the way they are now, but the availability of games and picture quality is lower.

I guess you mean IPTV when it comes to picture quality, because with CS you only receive data for decoding over the Internet, while picture and sound come via satellite signal, so picture quality depends only on the provider and what kind of TV you have. As for the amount of sports available on satellites, I only have 4 satellites and I think that when it comes to sports programs I have at least 100 sports programs in HD resolution - and besides football, there are basketball, volleyball, handball...

Have you guys tried using F12 and some advanced configurations to visit the livestream page? There was! Unfortunately, I cannot access Bet365 due to country restrictions and I can't show an example. But there was another way to do this using the F12 > Network > then refresh page and play the live stream, there would be a 'media' file incoming in the network and it would redirect to the real website where bet365 gets its livestream (I don't know if it would work coz I cant try). And with that, you can view it in an alternative tab which doesn't require an extension!  ;D

I wouldn’t be surprised if they introduce a rule in the future that the stream can only be watched after player made a bet.
I am sure this will happen sooner or later. It's already in affect for horse and greyhound racing. They will probably look to introduce it gradually, so as not to piss of the community too much.
Oh, they'll make loads of money when that starts with other sports.
Not everyone who signs up there was freeloaders in the first place.
So I guess it will still work without worrying about losing customers. It's just like filtering who is really meant to be there.

As for me, I will still accept it. I don't really watch full-length games that I don't put a bet on except for intriguing ones. (i.e. fights in-game)  ;D
I'd rather watch the highlights on Youtube.

You should try bet365 because the stream is even faster than TV at times from what I have seen and it helps a lot knowing the exact live stream and score.

Thanks for the tutorial; for me, all the British bookies are the best. I also consider skybet, which is best in gambling games. I never face any issues, and it's perfect in terms of betting. There's a lot of fun of your choice; the remarkable thing is they don't apply a fee for withdrawals, and they're fast compare to the other bets sites. The only thing I dislike is charging a high phone bill when you call customer support with a Canadian phone. Had a pleasant little surprise on my phone bill.
Well the thing we are discussing is stream and not odds and offers available on various betting sites. You might be right there are better alternatives for betting than bet365.com considering they have smaller limits but the stream feature is indeed best on bet365 and I am not aware of many others who offer streams.

Stake has also recently started to offer live stream for sports so might watch there too but limited sports or dare I say only e-sports and table tennis.

Believe that you had to create an account, then deposit money and then put money on the event in question. Of course they have to earn that money back by applying this model. I just don't know how many matches from the site are actually being streamed. You often see a screen but there is no live stream at all.

Excellent explanation and actually I used to zoom into my window and watch it but yeah the method you have given is pretty awesome. I always watch most of the streams on bet365 specially for table tennis and soccer at times so this will help a lot having a separate window for streams. By the way guys who are not aware of it, you can make an account on 365 and get free stream by just funding your account with lets say 10 cents, you can deposit 10.1 USD and withdraw back 10 and the remaining 10 cent you can free stream any sports they have.

There are NFL, NBA and almost all prominent sports betting stream available on the site and it is good quality and like I said it costs you nothing apart from keeping a small balance active.

I meant to say that the picture quality of the bet365 streams is lower compared to satellite and IPTV transmissions. But the streaming service is superb compared to free sites that contain dozens of ads and possible malware.

I only have 4 satellites and I think that when it comes to sports programs I have at least 100 sports programs in HD resolution - and besides football, there are basketball, volleyball, handball...
I assume you have 19.2E, 16E, 13E, and 1W. Did I get all of them right? Instead of 1W you could also have 23.5E or 28.2E but I doubt it. 23.5E offers only Dutch football and the most interesting things on 28.2 are no longer watchable over CS.

Snip
I never tried this, honestly I don't think you would get the source link for the stream this way.

They don't have a rollover requirement for the deposited funds?

Of course, with let's say those 3 standard satellites, I also chose 23.5 because with CanalDigitaal/TV Vlaanderen you can also watch the Czech platform Skylink. It is true that the Dutch are broadcasting their domestic football league (1 and 2), but also the English Premier League, the Champions League and the Europa League, and I think I have seen that there are also Spanish and German football league matches.

As for our domestic football leagues, Max Tv on 16 E covers them very well, and as far as I have seen there are also very exotic football leagues on Arena programs + Sport Klub (all in HD and working on CS).

None of the sites I usually bet on apply any withdrawal fees. It's the same for fiat and crypto casinos. I never had to pay any fees on Bet365 or Sbobet. Same thing on Sportsbet.io and FortuneJack where the casinos handle the bitcoin network fees.

The only thing I dislike is charging a high phone bill when you call customer support with a Canadian phone. Had a pleasant little surprise on my phone bill
Bet365 has a live chat feature + email support. Unless your inquiry is extremely urgent, there is no need to call them over the phone. But it is true that these services charge their customers excessively. Not to mention that a customer service representative takes his time to answer you and in the meantime you have to listen to their ads and lose your calm.

No doubt they are the best gambling site in my opinion too but actually this thread is not about player reviews, instead there is an excellent explanation how we can use the tools and actually enjoy the live stream in full size. I used to zoom the page to see the stream better but the layout of bet35 is such that the fonts and other things will enlarge first and stream hardly zooms in, thanks for the great explanation OP and I have tested it myself so I can it works.

I have watched all the Australia Open matches on bet365 itself and some of the matches they show are even ahead of the stream that is being shown on TV so it was a great experience with the method you shared.

It was even faster in the previous seasons for many sports, but they deliberately added a delay to their streaming service now. Spanish La Liga and Italian Serie A was faster on bet365 than on satellite/cable. That is no longer the case. German BBL basketball, Austrian and German Bundesliga - same thing. There is now an artificial delay probably to prevent players from having any sort of edge.

Going to try this for sure but recently they have made a rule such that you cannot zoom the window otherwise it will just disable stream. I used to watch a lot of streams at bet365 but it is nearly impossible to watch in that small window, I hope your method works.

I fully agree with the delay in streams, earlier the streams were far ahead and some players used to take advantage of it in sports like tennis where odds change within a few seconds and having an advantage used to give players the edge. Now almost all the streams are delayed but still, bet365 is one of the best sites to watch sports even if they are not as far ahead as before.

Check my opening post. I have described how you can adjust the stream window however you want by using Mozilla Firefox, or using the Maximize Flash Video add-on available both for Chrome and Firefox. If you don't like installing unnecessary add-ons (I know I don't) just stick with the Firefox method. It's easier.

streaming on bet365. For those who have never used bet365, in order to watch their streams, you need to register an account, deposit money into it, and for some sports, make a bet on the match you want to live stream.
Do you mean to say if a newbie dosent deposit and place a bet after creating an account he/she can't access the livestreaming option of bet365, but I feel in actual sense livestreaming is meant to be free since data is been consumed all the way or could this be another avenue to generate more fund from the site just asking for clarification since I haven't streamed a match using bet365 and might likely consider using it if it's features seem appealing, attractive and affordable

That's correct. You can't view their streams if you have never deposited money on the site or placed a bet at one point in time.

but I feel in actual sense livestreaming is meant to be free since data is been consumed all the way or could this be another avenue to generate more fund from the site just asking for clarification since I haven't streamed a match using bet365 and might likely consider using it if it's features seem appealing, attractive and affordable
Live streaming isn't free. Don't compare bet365's services to those free and pirated live streams. Bet365 pays money to broadcasters to have access to streamed matches and expects the same from its customers. It's a for-profit organization interested in generating revenue, not a humanitarian organization providing a community service.

I am using bet365 live streaming to watch some matches, but it do consume datab a lot, also is the other one which is just a representation of where football is being passed to on the football field, but the live streaming gives the best experience. The delay is not that much, with the matches I have watched are not more than 10 second delay.

One thing that came to my mind was to try and use the opportunity to manipulate live betting, but the dalay did not allow such manipulation to be possible. The delay is simply because of the people that bet not to manipulate the matches staked.

It depends on the person I guess. if you are watching the match on a multishared IPTV server, the delay could be anywhere from 40 seconds to over a minute if the provider is a very bad one. Compared to that, 10 seconds is nothing. But if you have a regular TV channel that is several seconds faster than the bet365 stream, and many are, a 10 seconds delay is huge.

One thing that came to my mind was to try and use the opportunity to manipulate live betting, but the dalay did not allow such manipulation to be possible. The delay is simply because of the people that bet not to manipulate the matches staked.
That will never work. Sportsbooks have foreseen such possibilities. There is a delay with the acceptance of livebets of 6-8 seconds. That's because the system is checking if anything happened in the match that affects the markets and odds. If something is detected, your bet will get rejected.

This is actually a really good guide and thread for those who are new to bet365 and don't understand how to watch streams and more useful for even experienced players who are aware of how the stream works but don't quite know how to zoom, enlarge and pop out the window to watch it fullscreen.

Earlier years back when I first played at bet365 I remember you could just simply zoon the page and shift the page accordingly to make the stream almost full screen. In fact most ATP and WTA matches I used to watch there and bet on sportsbet haha

I am glad someone (Pmalek great work really!) has put the efforts and created a proper guide on it!

Yeah, that option was available in the past. You could zoom in and manipulate the screen according to your liking. But then they made it impossible to do that because it automatically stopped the stream. Luckily, it's no longer needed because full-screen mode is now available.

I used to watch some Serie A matches by zooming in back in the days when I didn't have better options and more choices for televised football.
