The co-creator of this forum, sirius, has not logged in since January 6th, 2018. Why so? Was the account hacked or he just vanished like satoshi?

Maybe I missed something big which explains everything but I was unable to find any information about the case on the forum or through a Google Search.

Or you know, maybe he/she just decided to not visit Bitcointalk and do something else with his/her time instead. 🤷‍♂️ A certain user doesn't need a bizarre reason to stop using an online forum.

What is clear is he is fine, for now, maybe he is busy with other businesses outside that we never know.
Bottom line: here never know @sirius for real and never know how many accounts he manages on this forum, that's the problem.

However, not sure what percentage you can find out where @sirius is and what he is doing, obviously he's having fun right now.

Siriusly I don't think discussing such topics would bring back those long-gone members.

Sirius is making his own decentralized social media network Iris, and it is good that he is still active in cryptocurrency space, but who knows if he is using some of his other accounts to browse or write in forum.
Whatever the true reason behind his decision is, we should all be grateful to Sirius for co-creating bitcointalk forum.

Different from Satoshi, sirius isn't such mysterious person. His full name is known and probably there is no need predict and speculate where he is now. If you're interested in his activity, you can follow him on Twitter. Why did he left Bitcointalk? Well, I think only he can answer this question. We can only predict what is the reason.

That's pretty cool, though I can't stand social media myself--and yeah, just because he hasn't been active in posting doesn't mean he's not reading threads as kind of a lurker, and he could have an alt (though somehow I doubt that).

There are a lot of members from the beginning of bitcointalk who aren't active anymore.  If anyone is looking for some very interesting reading, you ought to take a look at some of the threads from 2009-2011.  It was like a different forum back then, with different members and posts that'll make your mouth gape in 2021.

I've always thought that the old-schoolers that disappeared are probably living in luxury on some Caribbean island--assuming they held on to at least some of the bitcoin they owned when it was going for pennies.

Follow him on Twitter, he's active and written some tweets over the past week. The forum has become full of those looking for profit, and therefore all bitcoiners have become inactive in this forum.
He is interested in projects that provide currencies with contact services better than Facebook and twitter.

By coincidence, this topic was posted in a period when I also was wondering what's going on with sirius. By chance, I found his website inside a Coin Telegraph article. After I accessed his website, I found there his email and I wrote him an email. I asked him kindly why he is not active here anymore and I also asked if he would like to come back to the forum. So far he didn;t reply yet, but who knows...? Maybe the email will convince him to come back :)
