I have warned people about bustabit's phising site around 2 week ago [WARNING] Bustabit phising site! DON'T google "bustabit" !!! (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5300693.msg55845783#msg55845783), and that site has been taken down by google. But now i just found new phising site of bustabit,

Thanks for another warning and also reported the ad to google. I wish google would make a background check before releasing an ad on their website.

for those who might encounter the website take note that in the original website when you click "play now" it doesn't redirect you the game with login screen already popped up.

High possibility it is owned by the same scammer as the previous one you shared. Scammers will always try to do everything, once they failed then they will try again until they got some money. As gambler, we should be careful while trying to visit any casinos. In case of googling, we should avoid those with "Ad" label or always bookmark our favorite casinos to avoid such phishing website. By the way, thanks for finding and sharing it here.

It's absolutely insane to me that google cares so little about advertising phishing/malware/fraud. It's pretty much willful negligence.

They only take action after several days and lots of complaints -- only to allow the exact same thing to happen again on a different domain in an endless cycle.

Honestly hope someone takes google to court over it. Even if you can't win at court, I'm sure google would find it rather embarrassing to try justify why they have not duty to do even the most basic diligence when taking money to show someone an ad for a product that the person is clearly not trying to get to.


This is also why I strongly recommend that everyone use an adblocker, and make sure all your friends and family are doing so too



My suggestion for bustabit: Try detect adblockers, and if the person doesn't have one -- encourage them to download one!

Very good that you warn people about this. You can easily fall for such constructions. And also drop by accusations just to be on the safe side so that people are warned twice.

Aww,,,another fake bustabit phishing website who are running their Ads by targeting a specific group of audiences. Few weeks earlier i have detected  similar one and they were also using the same way to make real bustabit visitor's fool.

I strongly support this suggestion! It has been almost 15 years I am using both DNS and adblock protection when surfing the internet. I would never use a browser without those two simple things turned ON.
If you really have to navigate some sites without an ADB then have a different browser only for that.
For your own safety never surf without an ADB and your own DNS of choice: do not forget DNS are your very first layer of protection

Not only with Bustabit, there are more number of phising sites under usage. We can find this for exchanges and gambling sites. Whenever we're gonna enter our personal credentials, we need to make a cross check and the security protocols.  This is how one can overcome the phising sites in usage which is a perfect trap for beginners.

We really can't put a stop to google letting people or a group advertise their own site rather than a more strict policy or regulation before that person or a group can advertise their site. All we can do now is block the site and share each information about that site to many people as possible.

Today is 2nd day and i still can see this phising site on google. But what makes me confused, previous phising site which has been taken down by google, appeared again.

another ads from google, we shouldn't trust google on their ads thanks for the heads up and nice catch. this should be removed from the ads as soon as possible so no players would be able to click this phishing website.

Even if this site is taken down, scammers will come up with another site to get people's money. The best way to avoid is to bookmark the sites where you deposit money (like gambling sites or exchanges) , so that you do not have to search them all the time on the google and could mistakenly click on the scam site.

Again, you cannot stop Google but you can easily stop receiving their stupid advertisement! If you cannot eradicate the symptoms here, you can surely destroy the illness very easily. Put an adblocker to it and let Google now that you will not be supporting its business model based on serving scams and frauds to uninformed users.

Thanks for a warning. The Internet can be a dangerous space for people who don't know how to navigate it. The advertised results are often not what people are looking for, and the fact that even scam can make it there is very disturbing because some perhaps think that Google checks what it advertises. If they're already such a rich company, perhaps they could indeed direct some resources into checking the companies that buy ads to make sure this kind of stuff doesn't happen... In the meantime, RHavar's advice is good. I use services that block ads and when I google bustabit, I see this:

I just searched on google for phishing sites, but I still found what the OP caught, like Google still hasn't deleted it and this needs to be reported again.

Honestly, I am more afraid of this Bustabit phishing if we are just careless in clicking then it will lose your money, I think this needs to be explored every week, usually the scamer always puts an ad there.

The owner of that phishing site is only one for sure and he is responsible in creating that ad together with other phishing sites that was reported like bustabiit.com and now he is using bustabit.click.

He is a very greedy scammer as he is using the advantage of advertisement so his phishing site will come on top if anyone will search for bustabit in the search engine. I will just hope that there will be newbies who will get fall to his hand as they will surely lost their money if they will not notice that they are using the phishing site.

wow this is very dangerous for those who are not careful about searching on Google with ads that are at the top, it's best if you have already clicked and logged in, it's better to strengthen account security than to lose all the money you have in bustabit

You can try them out and see if they work for you: I personally like them as they are privacy-centred.

Thank you for information. I don`t know what is bustabit, but I think phishing sites are very popular in gambling sphere and all gamblers should be very careful, because fraudulents think that it`s the easiest way and the best sphere to steal money from people who love gambling and games.

Or how many people have to make this many reports so that this action is quickly prosecuted by Google so that no one when searching on Google does not become the first phishing site.

I do believe many people have reported this phising link to google as well, but it's taking long time to shut it down.
Hm idk, just hoping people don't deposit their money and lose $30k (if they deposited 1 btc into phising site)
