We have crossed $25k and it’s another ATH? Well, it’s not anymore when we broke the 2017 ATH. I don't have the feel before that as I was not much involved with bitcoin before 2018.
Everyday, we see ATH now but I don't think it feels like the one which take a lot of days.
How do you feel exactly when you see new ATH each time and how do you feel when you see ATH broken after long break.

Right, actually I was "betting" against a fellow crypto enthusiast (not from this forum) that bitcoin will reach $25k this year (just a friendly bet), so it's good to see the price crossing it today and even more. So there's no stopping bitcoin and again, we really don't know what the ceiling will be, we still have the whole 2021 to push the price even further.

And looking at the prediction of $30k-$50k made by several members here, it's definitely doable. I think the next target will be 6 digits figure. Of course this kind of exponential growth or cycles will slow down, so it might take new cycles (from 4 year to maybe 6 year).

Although I already sold my bits when the price reached at $24k still I'm happy that we cross to that price since it really give a good vibes and attention since provably we can see another milestone reached for this year. And now for sure many hopes that we will reach @30k at the end of this year so hopefully we can see that one since most provably 2021 is another great level to come with bitcoins.

It's a bittersweet feeling. Yes, having my net worth grow is really really great, but the downside is that we're getting less and less BTC for every dollar/peso purchase lol. But whatever, I continue stacking regardless because I think we could definitely go significantly higher this cycle. :P

I have learned that emotions don't have a place in trading & investing. I can't say I don't feel a little bit of excitement when BTC is breaking level after level on the way to the moon, but I'm trying to desentivize completely when it comes to percepting market movements.

I think "I should have bought more when price was lower". Then again, many of probably think the same thing now. But seriously, I am not that much fussed about BTC price anymore. Correction will happen eventually so there will be more opportunities to buy cheaper, but those opportunities will get rarer as the time pass by and as BTC climbs slowly  up to six figures number.


Exactly my feeling. I am glad to see BTC price going up, but at the same time I know that it will be much harder to acquire more with each new ATH. Then again, it is worth to buy BTC at any price as long as you don't go all in/take loan and slowly accumulate when you can.

Exactly. Those who have targeted stacking 1 full Bitcoin or whichever amount they are aiming for would see that target running farther away from them. However, considering the full picture, it may not really seem so. Bitcoiners at $300 and $600 and $1000 would have felt the price was running away and it was getting too expensive, but looking at the broad charts, it was relatively very cheap then, We are also still early adopters (if that's any consolation). Looking back at the current price 5-10 years from now, it would likely look relatively cheap and stacking up would have become a lot more harder by then.

Still 5 days before end of 2020 and I think bitcoin will continue to increase and it's really great to see the current value of bitcoin that keeps on increasing. But, I still wait for correction so that I can buy again in a cheaper price.

True. I guess if we're making the assumption that bitcoin will reach upwards of $100,000 it really wouldn't matter that we're buying at $25,000. Still though, quite sad seeing the bitcoin purchase amount decimal point slowly but surely moving to the right.. 😬

I don't think it’s not the end, not BTC will only go up. We may not see the $4000 mark again, may be the miner is right, we lost the chance to buy below $10k but still we will have dip to buy. There will be chance for accumulate all the time.

Correction is bound to happen.

But yeah, let's celebrate seeing the price breaking the $25k barrier. We have a lot of arguments before and I would say that people do think that it is not reachable in 2020, but here we are right now. A little more push and we are in the $30k. I'm also very happy to see my my portfolio growing in terms of fiat. Nevertheless, I won't move any single satoshi, probably if we go to $100k or more then that is a different story. ;D. So again, congrats to everyone who have stayed in the market and continue to HODL.

finally our long wait has found the results and this is the best year for Bitcoin, because we finally see the price of Bitcoin increase very high and even exceed its ATH, even though when the price of Bitcoin fell very far in 2018 most people only hoped that the price of Bitcoin would return to its ATH price or there were even some people who doubted if the price of Bitcoin could increase again, but now it is proven that Bitcoin is very strong and will survive forever, because the price of Bitcoin has increased higher than its ATH.

I thought that this end of the year we'll only see bitcoin playing on $24k but it just broke that expectation.

Happy and it removes the stress that the other things give me. Every time I look at the price on coinmarketcap, this gives me confidence that in the soonest, we'll no longer see the low prices that once we stayed and thought of it as a confident price as of watching bitcoin's volatility.
To see that my portfolio have gone up in value, can't remove that thought of feeling to sell some at the early phase but that's it. Moving on to another ATH maybe by new year's eve or by the entire 2021.

It feels good because I know that every ATH, there's going to be a slight pullback before going up again which means profit. It still sucks though that I've restrained myself from increasing my bag but can't be helped since we can't predict the future.

i still  feel sad because i  don't have  much btc.  ;D but happy at the  same  time that 30K isn't so far after all.

part off me still wants the price to go down so wee can sell the  tokens we hold and buy the btc. sometimes it feels like i'm regretting that i didn't sold some BNB and LINK i hold because their prices didn't pump that high anyway.  i  might  decide later on if the next New ATH is going to  be achieved again.

Once you cross the $20k valuation then every Satoshi that increases from that point onwards is always an all time high ;D. My feelings are not that important but i wanted to invest earlier this year and i had my plans but then the pandemic hit me bad that affected my job and hence i had hold on to my plans and then the price started rallying without executing my plans. I have a few coins which i am holding for a long time and hence i am happy and looking forward to book my profit next year  :D.

I feel happy and sad both at the same time and that's a feeling you can never forget.
Happy because being a bitcoiner it always makes me happy to see bitcoin breaking all the records. Seeing that almost every week spikes my joy to another level.
Sad because it makes it equally harder for me to accumulate more bitcoins. I would certainly love to hold more bitcoins but as the price increases it becomes tough to invest more.

Although i am very happy seeing these ATH every other day but i really fear that since we are on a parabolic move up, if this momentum stops, we might dump hard. I do wish that we not see a big correction and keep on moving up. A correction of 10-15% is acceptable but correction of 40-50% will not be good for bitcoin.

I am hopeful and at the same time worried, we must not forget that during 2017 the crash actually came in January and at that time the price also seemed unstoppable with many people predicting 100k and similar numbers and now I am seeing the same, this makes me worry that we could see a repetition of the events that happened 3 years ago, also it worries me that the volume is not as high as I think it should be to reach that price, but all in all I am happy about what is happening since we get to witness an ATH once a week now.

I didn't expect this year to be the year Bitcoin set new ATH records, to all HODLERS I congratulate you. Bitcoin is still increasing, maybe a new ath will be created again, maybe we'll see $ 30k.

I am happy with a new bitcoin ATH. Because bitcoin advocates have always said it, and we as a community believed it and are sharing it on this forum. Everything has been possible because of our trust in bitcoin and its technology. After this new ATH according to Coingecko the market dominance is 68.4% and going up.
OP is correct this new ATH is not the same as the one of 2017. At this moment we are putting our hope that we are making Bitcoin valid around the world.

It's really good to see as BTC price is going up, Well my prediction was 25k btc and today it broke the ath again and waiting for a massive spike. This year many of them had faith in BTC and it never disappointed BTC and it's community.

However the next two weeks would be the key factor for BTC as most of the times it failed to perform in previous attempts let's wait for few more days to see how it works.

A little bit of panic is what I feel.
I mean, it's not written anywhere that it will come to this but yet it did.
The feeling of a gamble to sell, just to buy again after its dump or just let it be.
The urge of greed to accumulate more Bitcoin for the future.
Somehow it's also accompanied by confusion. You just don't know what to do at times like this.

Market correction is not a matter. Those who have bought at deeps will hold on. correction is a normal thing. I have already bought at deeps and I will not sell it no matter how high the price of bitcoin is. If the price goes down a little, I will buy more. If you are a hodler, then correction is not a factor for you.

We cant really deny that everytime Bitcoin do hits up a new ATH then it do gives out some sort of boost up of emotion specially if you do held up or able to buy when its still cheap.
Then that kind of excitement behind cant really be explained.Here on this market we all supporters do really hope for the best, weve been speculating for a decade now
in talking on how would be gonna high bitcoins price would able to reach on a specific time that we are speculating. Bitcoin never fails to impress us actually because on least
expectation we do really able to see prices which we arent able to reach up before. New ath? of course hitting $30k is we've been hoping again next.

Every time I see new BTC ATH, I started cursing myself for selling lots of BTC in the past. I wish I were still holding them but I had no choice due to my financial problems.
Now I can only hope some alts that I am holding also reach their new ATH.

It feels like we would see it break through more ATH next year.

I think that we could really see $30K real soon in 2021.

I don't understand what is clearer than the fact that there are no orders up to 30k and up and what a problem it will be to crawl up like a worm ...

It used to fail to break 20k because after 1k every next 1k (2k, 3k, 15k, 20k) had more sell orders in bitcoins. That is, each subsequent wall was higher (or at least like the previous one). Now it's just the opposite, every next 1k has fewer sell orders (lower walls). There was a minimum wall of 25k that was eaten. Now just retail, which is impulsive and seeing that the price jumps, will buy more and more, institutions will stand and wait for big walls to have something to buy, but retail will buy every day a little and raise the price and retail after 100k will have no choice :) If by chance price falls by 10-20% there are many who will wait like hungry dogs to buy -  smart money who careful wait to enter the game.

Congratulations maybe for you BTC holders, I feel happy and sad. The trend seems to be changing, it's totally different from 2017. I am looking forward to the new ATH for all the old coins and now only a few coins are starting to rise. Will we wait any longer for the new ATH all coins?

You see, look and see what Bitcoin is doing right now, wait for the next $ 50k.

New ATH after new ATH its becoming crazy bitcoin is breaking its record everyday and it looks like it is still gaining even if there is some big incident on small exchanges like livecoin and altilly being hack traders are really gunning it.

I think that billionaires have decided to invest in bitcoin, but no one talks about it openly. This is to be expected. I think that the price will rise constantly now, as it all looks like a domino effect. Now other potential investors will take a closer look and more seriously approach the issue of investing their funds in bitcoin, which, as a result, will cause an increase in the price of bitcoin and an increase in the number of new investors, that is, it all looks like a snowball.

Without any doubt some big fishes are pouring money in BTC as the value is keep on increasing, BTC is proving again and again as it is not only an innovation it's an invention as well also BTC didn't happen overnight.

Those who bought in the last decade might have already made loads of money, also there are many of them who want to hold even in this ATH I would say them that's the spirit. And they are even proving long-term holders. In this ATH it's not recommended to buy so plan accordingly.

Who would not be happy to see that bitcoin is doing great in the market and we keep seeing ATH? I'm happy and excited to see the current market situation because I never really thought that we would reach over $25k before the year ends, but I also somehow feel sad that I don't have much bitcoin with me. But regardless of that, I hope we continue seeing more ATH to come.

Maybe you just played safe so that you will not lose the opportunity to make bitcoin profitable for you.

Some are just really patient and fave faith of bitcoin that's why they never sell their coins until it reached another ATH in the market.

Until now, I think bitcoin can reach $30k but I don't want to disappoint myself expecting that much.

Maybe we will forget about ATH 2017 because this is already the highest over $25k is the latest thing we will definitely link to where the end of 2020 is a historic day for bitcoin.
But here, of course, we will see how the market moves like before after 2021, will this be repeated like 2018 in the middle? Will this be crushed by scammers who are so scamming that investors will no longer trust?

Of course we need this, where we need correction where the bearishness will come, we need to analyze it and don't be complacent more, we have to be with conditions if the market breaks.

It's good to see Bitcoin hit ATH again in late 2020. today has been a very extraordinary day. Bitcoin continues to set new records. Even though I only sold at $ 23k ATH I was quite satisfied.

Bitcoin holders that have been able to survive until now are certainly more extraordinary, because there will be many benefits to be obtained. Many predictions say Bitcoin will still hit $ 30k ATH. We'll just wait for what will happen and where the next Bitcoin price is.

This is a really positive aspect for Bitcoin and all Bitcoin users have become more interested and more optimistic about Bitcoin due to the new all-time high of Bitcoin. Looking at other years, it is seen that the price of other cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, has declined slightly during this time, but this year it has reversed and Bitcoin has reached its all-time high. At first, it seemed a bit impossible but now it is clear that Bitcoin 35K$ could reach very soon and this is possible by analyzing the current context. I do not see a reason for you to be mad, if you had spend that money in something frivolous then you may have a point but if you spent that bitcoin in something that you really needed at the time and it was your only choice then so be it, take it as your contribution to the market to make it more popular over the years, obviously getting bitcoin now is more difficult as it has a price of 28k but if this tendency continues you are not going to need a lot of bitcoin to improve your life.

Another ATH happened to bitcoin price seeing it to reached over 29k usd right now. Are we looking 30k before this year end? Back to back New ATH within a month after broken out on 2017 ATH price of 20k. This is amazing cause institutions have no reasons to stop these freny which makes them also unstoppable - of course aside from retailers they were responsible for price action seeing higher high.

This is the time investors need to be very careful, because crypto market is very volatile. And there is a saying that what ever goes up most comes down.

That is just the reality of the markets, for some reason when the price of an asset goes up people always think that this time is different and the price of that asset will always go up, I have no doubts that in the case bitcoin crashes the crash will leave a floor that will be higher than what it was last year and yet the crash is inevitable, it could happen tomorrow in a month or in a year but there is no doubt that no matter what are our wishes about it the crash will eventually come.

You can rightly say that you should also know that last year was the only increase made by bitcoin not by altcoin.

No one knows what will happen. There are many people who speak out against Bitcoin and they have strongly preached that Bitcoin will never cross its previous ATH. The wisest thing to do is to save your bitcoins in a hardware wallet without selling them and be prepared to buy more if the bitcoin is dumped. Because if Bitcoin is dumped, it will not last long, it will recover very quickly and you will not have time to buy.

To be honest, I would be happy when I finally saw Bitcoin make it to the new ATH, but if it continues in the near future happening new ATH
makes me a little scared. Because the Bitcoin price has gone up too high and this is out of control, it can eventually fall at any time. Therefore
we must be able to act wisely by taking take profit decisions if we have already made a profit, do not be greedy for a much bigger profit.

Unless we really want a long-term investment, no problem HODL Bitcoin and buy on regularly. Even though the Bitcoin price is too high, because
long-term investment will ultimately provide profit too in the end.

I think we have already reached that point, there have been 11 new ATHs in the daily charts during the last 15 days, that is completely insane, the price of bitcoin is raising without any opposition and while I am happy because of the profits I and everyone is getting at the same time this makes me nervous, where is this going stop? And when it does, how big will be the fall be? As there is no way to maintain this rate of growth during the whole year unless something exceptionally happens.

You aren't alone on this, thought, everyone is getting scared as the new all thing high milestone are getting crossed daily although we're enjoying it still. The trend now is just disturbing because when the pullback we occur we'll be going down massively to where the support are strong which is first, the $27k price range. The higher the price rises the higher the chances of it fallen and when it does it won't be gentle.

Looking at the thread, it was just few days back such price was been celebrated and now we're doing almost 100% in a matter of days for a coins already priced that high. Soon the bubble will burst and the fomo will fade away then a retraced will occur.

We as retail investors should be very careful so we don't get hit the most as Institutional investors will be playing their cards right so as to avoid getting dumped on instead, they'll be the ones doing the dumping.

I will be very happy to see a new ATH in the crypto market, and on the other hand I am also very disappointed to see ATH broken in the crypto market.  now there is no time to wait to start investing in bitcoin as its price in the market continues to increase.

After 3 years of waiting for new ATH we finally had it and it keeps on getting higher and higher since it broke $20K.
It is great to finally see it go this high after being low for the past 3 years.

People's interest as well as Bitcoin's popularity have seen to be boosted up by the attainment of the new ATH that Bitcoin have gone through which have already been into $40,000 as of the moment the last time that I have checked. It was very surprising on how from the hopes and wishes last December 2021 that Bitcoin must have reached its ATH like year 2017 have exceeded our expectations before that year ends and now Bitcoin is continuously surpassing its recorded ATH from $20,000 going to $23,000 to $28,000 and so on and so forth now we are now into the new ATH of Bitcoin which is $40,000. If you will better think of it, we are just almost 2 weeks of this year and look how Bitcoin price have increased as time passes by which is really great because people are now realizing how valuable having Bitcoin is nowadays.

Nothing beats out the feeling of that kind of boost of positivity towards the market seeing that it is breaking new all time high every now and then.
It cant really be stopped as of this moment, the highest or peak I do remember Is on 41k which isn't something that you can believe for bitcoins price
to reach up that fast in a short span of time.This signifies that demand and adoption is on the different level or extent now because we cant see
these numbers if those factors aren't present on this time.I wont be surprised if we do hit up 100k in no time if this rally will continue but of course
we should be still careful because anytime price could crash or do having that deep correction.

The patience of waiting paid off right? Lucky are those people who believed in the 3 or 4 year Bitcoin price cycle. But I guess it would become different now as Btc price really went to the moon. Some might hurt their pockets thinking about buying Btc upon seeing how high the price reached, but then I remember the 2017 Btc price of $19,000+ wasn't that expensive anymore compared to where Btc has been today.
This new ATH today might not be as expensive tomorrow.

It doesn't take a long time if the previous all time high $20.000 has passed, another new ATH can be seen quickly. As you can see now, since the price broken the $20.000 it is just need a few time to touch $40.000, can you differentiate when the $20.000 barrier hasn't been passed. Exactly it is touch a long time, even I still remember when bitcoin price touch $17.000 its price just decreased to $14.000 and need a long time again to touch $17.000. For this situation we can see new ATH per days, as long as the fundamental factor still the same then the investor will still hold and buy bitcoin as much as they can.

There is always a new ATH, now we have crossed the 40K$ per btc and that is a huge difference between having  25K$ ATH as mention in the OP. Bitcoin is really unpredictable and that made it difficult to decide on what to do with bitcoin holdings. But somehow I learn that if you wanted an assurance to earn then holding is the best strategy to earn and get good profit like what others had did.

Well you have a point and that is right, there is no new ATH since bitcoin keeps growing up day by day. We can't determine the new ATH and it could occur every time bitcoin will go up high the price. I think we need to stop saying ATH right at this moment, we can say it again once the bitcoin price will become to bear market. For now, --we are still hoping that bitcoin will keep growing and don't have doubt it will happen because people get FOMO and thinking out the profit, but let's prepared when there is a FUD, surely a lot of people will sell their bitcoin hold.

Bitcoin is making new ATH in almost every week.Now Bitcoin is going up to 50k which is good for its Holders,But those who are Altcoin investors are not happy for its booming.Let's see its journey towards 50k.

Mixed reactions of course, seeing the price been broken after 2 years is definitely something to be excited of, not only that but for us, it definitely is an opportunity to seek for profit after holding for a long time and trying to save my bitcoins, it definitely is worth the wait! 😎

Excited, definitely! I mean, who wouldn't right? Especially the long time hodlers. Personally, every time I see that the price increases, I get so happy and amazed. This is the first time that I have experienced this kind of price in bitcoin and I really feel that my patience is starting to pay off. But, some say that the price might still go upwards soon. So I'm still being patient and refuse from selling so I can earn more profit.

Bitcoins will surely hit 50k in January.
This was already predicted when BTC crossed 25k USD.
And the Altcoin holders shouldn’t be upset, as with the price booming of BTC, Altcoins price will also rise.

There is a possibility that bitcoin will reach its $50K price in January or February because more people and big companies are continuously buying more bitcoin that makes the momentum of the bullish market look good. Same thing with Altcoins because they also have good movement in their market price that they follow bitcoin's bullish trend.

Bitcoin price has really shattered the record and gone up to 41.5k dollars the most until now. Honestly, I didn't expect this much increase in price in the first month of the year already. Investors must be very happy about this. I realized that I would be a millionaire now if I kept my money on BTC for a few years. I was really devastated by it. Anyway, I won't miss the next chance when the price drops to a value between 10k and 15k.  ;D

I think there is a possibility that Bitcoin might go up to $45K to $50K within this month. It’s possible, based on the recent growth that it has from December until today. It’s kinda parabolic and volatility is high, but this time, institutions are backing up on it because of their strong interest and acquiring some of it. As the supply of Bitcoin is so limited, it forced them to set the price high. 

Yeah, new ATH is just a term because it has reached a high value, but with the increase nowadays people often say that but for sure I will still see how the movement of bitcoin is so high from day to day that's what we need to realize that 50k will soon be achieved in time near.
The bear market will definitely happen, this is certain because some of the effects of the FUD news we know that people often panic so it becomes more mental when it is at its peak, therefore I will still pay attention to the correction if one day the market drops big.

Patience is one of those virtues that gets passed over because it is not very exciting and some people may even confuse it with passivity but in the markets in general it is one of the most profitable skills that you can have, if I see two persons one that is impatient and one that is patient then I will always bet on the patient one regardless of the strategy they may have as the ability to hold your investment for long periods of time is one of the safest ways to make money in the markets.

actually having a patience or  waiting is verry exciting because you dont know what is coming and you dont take actions just pure waiting but what isnt exciting is when you dont have a patience because you already sold your coins and there is no point for you to stay and wait but there are persons that dont need to wait although they can still make a profit or known as traders and not all people that know how to wait are going to succeed . waiting isnt easy as it seems , that is why there are people that regret for not holding more longer and now regretting after seeing btc cross 40k usd  .

Not in next 3 years, next ATH will happen sooner than that. In fact it is just few months away. BTC has attracted institutional attention and now price increase will happen in big slabs.
Like $10k price up within a week.

The institutional investment in bitcoin started a long time ago and it is nothing new, there might be more reports coming out regarding their investment now than ever before and these institutional investors are advertising about their investing to the public through social media as well and for people like me i would think why would they do that, will they advertise when they will book their profit as well :P.

Well there are institutional investment firms that usually released a quarterly or monthly report so I guess that's the time we will know if they have sold their reserve assets on bitcoin or not. But majority I think won't reveal their holdings on the first place  so obviously we wont' here then selling and booking their profits as well.

In any case, a new all time high will again be breach, just a matter of time. Of course we are glad to see another high at around $50k or more in the next 3 months.
