Title: Where is EOS?
Post by: sedactoo+04 on December 28, 2020, 07:05:41 AM
One of the stars of the last bull run and with its unique 2018 crazy movements, EOS was a star, EOS was a killer, it had great potential etc etc...

Still in the top 20 but where the hell is EOS? I do not see anything about the project anywhere around the forum and also the news.
The price keeps going down and down.
Even with the DeFi craziness, EOS did not get any little attention.
As far as I know from the total 260 DeFi projects only around 20 of them are EOS based.

But really curious where the hell is EOS?

ps: i am not an EOS bag holder

EOS was a crap coin and it's full of gimmick and shillers. Dan larimer just another Jed mccalleb who was always creating more and more scam quick rich scheme. The only dapps that are still alive in EOS platform was some gambling dapps.
This coin never gets any publication. People already wasted billion dollars of money to invest in the overvalued garbage project like EOS. It's going down, down, and down.
The worst DPOS chain ever exist in crypto lol

LINK has been killing EOS lol

I have used EOS coin to transfer money from one exchange to another as they have one of the lowest withdrawal fees and you can find them in major exchanges. But in terms of development, I am not familiar with their activities. I know one gambling site as EOS-based, and the transfer fee is free, which is a very attractive feature in my opinion. However, I don't know much EOS-based blockchain projects that are popular in the market. They can promote this platform to be good in the payment sector because it's cheap and fast.

It is difficult to do serious projects on some platforms, which is why this coin is used for gambling and fast payments.
Perhaps you should find a community of users of this coin on this forum or in social networks and instant messengers.

The hype has died down on EOS already, there are many crypto that is better now that's why it didn't have that much movement as of late. And probably it's investors has move on others, lots of promise when it was released though, supposedly ETH killer, Lol.

There could be pumps along the way, but that's it, unlike many new coins that continue to goes up like ADA or LTC for instance.

Well, first of all since it became a lot more decentralized (it wasn't) EOS didn't have a marketing team backing it up constantly. Secondly it had a bad start to the year but recovered pretty well so I wouldn't say it is not doing well.

I get that it started the year at around 4.5 dollar peak, which wasn't a long period, just few days, so I wouldn't call it the price for that moment, just a single day, but around last of April and early may it reached to 10+ dollars, even peak as much as 4.5 dollars, that was the period where EOS was doing awesome, that was the moment everyone assumed EOS would be the high profiter of the year. That is when everything went wrong, ever since that moment, it got to 3 dollar levels at best now, and that is why nobody is talking about it, when a coin crashes like that people stop talking about that and move to next coin that made bigger returns.

This is what happens when a coin creates extra hype in the market. I heard a lot of talk about EOS when this coin was pumping in the market and a positive situation was created among the traders about the future of EOS. But when eos started to dump, investors started thinking of selling these coins and investing in other coins.

As a result, it is unlikely that eos will be able to recover. Many coins come on the market to kill other coins, but these are just to create hype.

Its almost like TRX already that died after one bullrun and then staysthat way. Stagnant as it is. Its like altcoin holders are forced to sell because its just BTC that is just rising. I have also sold mine that I have hold over a year but its worth it. I like playing their casino though but staking EOS for cpu and ram is wasteful.

Maybe it was the most overestimated project. I remember that time too, when many people were talking that new crypto is coming with EOS launch. I only have seen some unpopular dapps on the EOS and a few games. I think it`s not what we expected. New projects comes and EOS is forgotten. I can answer, that EOS is in a deep depression

Unfortunately it was another project that could not fulfill the expectations of the market but they can still catch up with a pro active approach but to be honest there are no signs of that happening anytime soon.
Eos holders will not like it but there are much better options available in the market than eos now.

I have used EOS and have not had the best experience using it. There are too many difficulties in order to carry out a transaction, the same Ethereum is much more convenient, where you just enter the address of the wallet to which the crypto is sent, set the transaction fee and that's it, the cryptocurrency is sent. EOS had projects that kept it afloat, but now I don't know what happened to them, judging by the price of the token and its popularity in general, they are unlikely to have achieved success. Therefore, I no longer use EOS.
