I've only been here for a couple of months, but I love this community, and I feel like I'm getting to know the personalities of some chaps!

I'm always curious how you're coming up with your usernames. What does it mean? Does it have some symbolic meaning?

I have it simple, my nickname is my last name. It's not that I neglect anonymity, it's just that I always use this nickname

I can’t even remember to be honest why I picked DeathAngel. It was a long time ago now, I was just trying to think of something cool & picked this. I don’t really have any kind of connections to DeathAngel.

My nym comes from a crypto news website I'm running, Gazeta Bitcoin. It is one of the very few Romanian crypto news websites.

devil2man means the personified devil, who has taken on semblances, human forms, in other words a sign of determination, stubbornness

Like Loyce, I used a random nickname generator. I stopped at this after a couple of spins because I liked how it sounded.


It's a good name, none of us will ever forget it... and it does kind of suit you.

Before creating my account, I was doing really good on betting. I was making bets on football matches mostly. I was usually lucky and winning. It came to my mind and I decided to make my username like this. And there it is.  ;D

My bitcointalk username actually comes from playing battlefield 1. It's my favourite game I used to play a lot with my favourite gun being the Gewehr 98 from Mauser.

Yes, Mauser is actually a very famous German arms manufacturer (originally Königliche Waffen Schmieden). Their rifles and hand guns appear in various computer games and movies (especially if it is about World War I or World War II).

Mine is for mocking my Friend who introduced me this Crypto , Because at first i really don't want to entertain Him encouraging me to study this but sooner He's the one who Leaves the crypto because of failure in investing  ;D so the Username stands for Him  ;D

I normally derive my internet usernames from my real name or I would just use a username that doesn't look or sound like other people's real name.    I have used other people's names in the past though but later realize that this has alot of implications even if you are not using the names for anything illegal.
So, mine is actually my real name but shortened, with little variation.

In 2010 I started making money on the Internet by betting on sports. Created an account at the sportclub2010 bookmaker, sportclub2010 email. And here I also used the name sportclub2010.

The name of a character from a series that I love.

That's a strong one. I must say, mine didn't really stood for anything as it's actually my first time testing cryptocurrency and upon creating this account, I never considered that but, I would say...
My username represents the kind of person I want to be. A person that loves doing the right thing to the best of my ability. It's a difficult and tasking username but, seeing it alone stands as a reminder should I want to stray from the part of doing the next right thing. So,

I have a special likeness for Indian and my Username means Krishna (cowherd) though I added "wu" at the end cos someone already bears the name Gopal

I am very new here and I generate randomly few came I select this one from these names.

Anyway, it's very grandiose.

The Nine Club is a podcast I enjoy. I have been into their podcasts lately so it just seemed fitting. If I would have joined this forum earlier or later, I am sure my username would be different. However, that makes it hard to keep track of all of the usernames throughout the years.

Does anybody here have any specific mental trick they use to memorize important info like that? I know some people associate mental pictures with words, but that's just beyond me at this point.

My username stands for my most favorite person in the world. Im a newbie in this industry and hoping to master its potential thats why im in forum reading several topics and learning a lot and reading ideas of of different people from different countries and i find it really amazing!

Combing 3 names of my favorite characters in different movies. It doesnt need to be symbolic i think, sometimes the usernames will just pop out in your head.

My username is my nickname, it wasn't  picked randomly it was indeed my nickname, people call me fada😎 I decided to make something cool from it.  So y'all can call me fada😂 ..

I do not think my username needs explanations however it stands for shark of bitcoins that is the voracity and tenacity the absolute commitment to get and to earn and accumulate bitcoins
