Title: When will bitcoin price start Falling?
Post by: Wenbing on December 29, 2020, 03:36:58 PM
I've been thinking, it's now very scary to buy bitcoin, as the bullish movement is at an unexpected level.

When do you think bitcoin price will start falling?

What are the signs to watch out for?

Despite current price I don't think it's scary at all to buy bitcoin now, as long as you are responsible. And that means not borrowing money from anyone to buy bitcoin, not going all in with all your savings, and most importantly look at bitcoin as a long term investment and that means having the patience to wait for even few years.

Trying to time the market and waiting for  dips dips is harder than it looks  so that's why i prefer dollar cost average method where I don't care much about current price. I simply buy at regular intervals as I know I will profit in the end. So far this method works flawlessly.

Regarding when price will start dropping, it will probably happen suddenly and without some major sign, when people are not expecting.

I can not tell you when but pay your attention on three funding times every day on BitMEX [1]
Quote
Funding

Funding occurs every 8 hours at 04:00 UTC, 12:00 UTC and 20:00 UTC.

I advise you to stop using MACD or RSI to predict price for your trades as they are lagged or very delayed indicators for past price movements. Bitcoin rose to $28,000 and many Short positions were liquidated along the way of bitcoin from $20,000 to $28,000. You can look the Long-Short positions statistics and Funding rates and draw an overview for market status.

Well, I know some people that that did the same and they profited, but I know even more of those that took loans during last bull market, bought BTC at almost all time high expecting they will take a quick profit and return money to bank. We all know what happened in late 2017/early 2018.

Situation now is even more complicated than few years ago due covid19 and generally bad economic situation when people are loosing their jobs left and right. We all expect that bitcoin goes up a lot like it did in 2017, but you never know what will happen, especially in these uncertain times. I simply woulnd't recommend anyone to gamble that way and invest money they don't have. Rather buy little by little, as much as you can afford. It is much safer method, and will still yield return.

Price is falling this time, it was once touching $28,000 bu its down to $26,000. Its definitely a big amount.  Its too early to say the bears are going to take over the market already. XRP may the only be experiencing bear market and we all know its reason.

The altcoins are starting to rise and if I have to compare to what happened in the last bullrun, it should last for like a year. But today's bullrun is also initiated by bi investors along with adoptions.

No one knows - if anyone knew when it would start falling, they'd be Nostradamus.

Who thought it was unexpected?  Eventually as more and more people realized the uses, it seemed pretty expected that the fiat price would rise along with it.  Will there be ups and downs along the way?  Sure, it has been like that since 2009.

The keys are: 1. Only invest what you can, 2. don't borrow, 3. don't keep your coins on an exchange (unless it is really reliable, and even then...), 4. Wait -give it time as even more people want to protect themselves from inflation, confiscation from statists/authoritarians etc.

everyone will say that "I CANNOT SURE WHEN BITCOIN WILL DOWN" The reason is simple, because the market share of bitcoin is not owned individually. so it is very difficult to say when bitcoin goes down and when it will go up.

There is possibility for this flip of capital from bitcoin to altcoins. I said it based on the charts for Marketcap Bitcoin dominance (BTC.D) and Marketcap Altcoin dominance (OTHERS.D). Bitcoin dominance should be pulled back and Altcoin dominance should bounce a little.

The market tends to move to a very different direction than the one is expected by most of people in the market. So to be safe, you need to wait for confirmations from the market.

Dead Cat Bounce definition (https://www.investopedia.com/terms/d/deadcatbounce.asp). With some shit tokens from DeFi and young cryptocurrencies, it is safer for you to not buy any dip from now on. For old altcoins, you can wait for confirmations and buy the dips that can turns to profits in mid- and long-term.

With prices sticking about 25K, it seems another quick spike is possible but I too believe bitcoin won't sustain the current price for a long period. It needs to correct to some extent and I believe the price would move below 20K before making a solid resistance. There are rumors of whales accumulating more coins. But in my opinion it's better to miss out on profit than to buy on a spike and watch your coins go valueless.

Do not waste your time most likely oscillators have been on the overbought level  for weeks and the same is true for many other indicators and yet the price does not go down, the bullish pressure is simply too strong and the indicators are not precise enough to be able to tell when that will happen, a correction or a crash in the price will come at whatever time they come and if you are a trader then you need to have your orders ready and have a stop loss in place as there is the possibility this happens when you are sleeping and you do not want to miss the opportunity to sell at your desired level.

No, don't do this.  It's a very complicated thing when you borrowed money and invest in crypto which is very risky, this is the scariest than seeing the price goes down in the market.  I advise investing in what you can afford because all the movement of Bitcoin price is unpredictable and no one knows when it will be headed in the future.

Just invest now if you want and hold it until you have your profit because if you are going to ask me, probably Bitcoin price will never go down beyond $20k IMO.  There are a lot of institutions and investors who invested in Bitcoin and we're not on hype, not just like what happened before(year 2017).  The demand and supply will always matter and that is the reason Bitcoin price will remain increase even right after there is a small correction.

For me, there is no point in trying to guess when bitcoin price will fall if you want to buy, because I hold long-term. If you are trying to trade you should know more about the subject than you seem to by asking that question. Otherwise you are trying to play a crystal-ball game.

This time the market is very much stable. This has made the cryptomarket to be much more stronger than other forms of investments. No need to think of market getting crashed, it is believed that the market will gain momentum to be above specific price forever. If that happens we can expect the price to be stand without any massive downward movement.

Nobody really can determine on when will Bitcoin's value will decline and the only thing we can do is just wait and watch things unfold in front of us or we can do our job and earn more Bitcoins. The decline on Bitcoin will surely be noticeable or when some things gets out of hand within the Cryptocurrency Industry but we are really not sure what it is about so can we please stop on waiting for Bitcoin to fall and just get the things we need to do while it is valuable

Exactly, this is where a lot of beginners fall to, is investing when the market price is so high and riding the hype in the market.

For sure the market price is gonna fall soon when the investors started to sell their investment, market price will not continue to increase its market price at some point.

Personally, I think it's already a good time to sell your investment because for sure market price is already at its limit, and in my opinion, there will be resistance at around 27k$ and the dumping price will be around 10k$-20k$.

It’s pretty unpredictable in the short term, and even when you think bitcoin is on an upward streak, there are days that move in the opposite direction (and you never know how long that streak is going to last).

Going over the daily opening data from Coinmarketcap, the largest streaks where the opening value is greater or equal to the prior day’s value are (in number of days):

2020:     8 (13/12/2020 .. 20/12/2020  and  23/04/2020 .. 30/04/2020)
2019:     8 (20/06/2019 .. 27/06/2019)
2018:     7 (14/07/2018 .. 20/07/2018)
2017:    18 (25/04/2017 .. 12/05/2017)
2016:     8 (24/05/2016 .. 31/05/2016)
2015      9 (23/10/2015 .. 31/08/2015)
2014:     6 (02/01/2014 .. 07/01/2014)
2013:    10 (01/11/2013 .. 10/11/2013)

The above is really an anecdote in the big picture of things to analyse, but it shows that consecutive day upward streaks are not that long before at least one day moving in the opposite direction.

I speculated the price to dump in January, where the price correction will kick in. After this, the price will continually fluctuate low to high until a certain point where we would definitely know another bullish run is coming. That's how bitciin has bedn in the past few years it has gone mainstream. It's pretty much predictable at this point. But then again, it's still better to do a little bit of research than base your claims in past price trends.
This time the market is very much stable. This has made the cryptomarket to be much more stronger than other forms of investments. No need to think of market getting crashed, it is believed that the market will gain momentum to be above specific price forever. If that happens we can expect the price to be stand without any massive downward movement.
This wouldn't be for too long, remember the fact that we still haven't reached price correction yet. So this value's not the endgame value of bitcoin, January 2021 most likely will see the deumping of the coin, which will then give people the chance to invest in it.

Well no need to get scared. If you really want to have Bitcoin and looking for a safer strategy, you can try to buy every week. Just choose one day and buy whether the price is. I have been doing this for 3 weeks and I even opened thread about this topic.

I don't get scared and feel comfortable with this strategy.

There is risk in entering when the market is rallying as you cannot predict when the market will go down and the current rally is helped by huge investment from financial fund houses and you cannot predict when they are planning to book their profit and when they does the market will go down drastically and i was expecting them to manipulate the market but they kept on investing heavily.

After the price keeping up and it will be quite stagnant at the top, when there is no raise up signal again to breakout, there will be probably the market correction fo Bitcoin. However, I am not sure that the market correcton will be that deep like the previous bearish market. It may be litle bit different with the previous era. Moreover, right now many new investors and also Bitcoin holders beause of this pandemic. The big whales maybe also set the new different of this condition.

Because I had a bad experience buying Bitcoin at its peak in 2017, then finally not long the price fell and made me suffer a big loss at that time.
Of course the rise in Bitcoin at the end of 2020 makes me think back to what happened in 2017. It makes me scared and traumatized to buy
Bitcoin in the current bullish trend.

So I will wait for Bitcoin to fall first to buy Bitcoin. And the movement of Bitcoin this year is difficult to predict, so I can't tell when the Bitcoin price
will fall. Usually a sign Bitcoin will fall if Bitcoin's dominance in the market decreases, but now the dominance of Bitcoin is still very high and continues
to rise. Which means that demand for Bitcoin also continues to increase, we have to be patient waiting for the price of Bitcoin to fall.

Haha! This reminds me of a meme. Dude, people also asked this question when it was at $20k. I guess they now have their answer. Bitcoin today is still cheap (my thoughts tho). Because I believe there'll be a time when anyone who owns 0.1BTC will be tagged a super rich person. So, waiting for it to fall, you can never tell if it'll rather get more expensive. However, I like telling people to rather look at Bitcoin as a currency and not as an investment. https://signal.swanbitcoin.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/wait-for-price-to-crash.png

So, do you still want to be lollygagging or stop waiting? Ball's on your court mate.

If you only own some Bitcoin and you're still interested in buying more, then it wouldn't be a bad idea to do so. Moreover, you're only applying dollar cost average strategy which will lower your average BTC buy price even if you keep buying at higher prices. I don't believe this is the end of the road for the current Bitcoin bull run as there seems to be more upside potential - more institutions keep buying, more positive news and volume keeps increasing. None of these have indicated a change in the direction of the market so far.

It's only bad for people who know little to nothing about Bitcoin and just heard about it in the news recently. Then they buy some stash of BTC blindly with full hopes that the value would go hundred fold next year. Lol.

No one knows when would the price starts falling and how much would it falls I know most of us really wants to know this kind of details but there is no one who could know it.
We all want to know it so we could buy it at a low price again but this kind of question would only get some predictions.

No one can tell and if someone do knows on what would happen then they can make themselves play safe into this vary volatile market.
No trader or investor would able to detect if the price would tend to go down rather than if they do saw it when it happens.
Some would already have the doubts on buying on this current price point which is really very expensive  or i do presume that it is already
at its peak but who knows if it would push through 30k price point? Its just a matter of someones risk management.

At some point bitcoin will start to fall as the cycle of market will soon to initiate sell off. Bitcoin can be so attractive right now especially to all newbies out there - even seasoned investors are entice against the promised 30k to 50k usd each bitcoin. However, before this price to go beyond its current 28k, it needs to correct somehow in order to open new cycle. Again, at these current price level always set stop loss, limit buy orders and do not FOMO. Always be vigilant especially on huge transfers as most of the time, prices fluctuate in these interventions.

The price of bitcoin right now is too high to buy a profitable amount. To be honest I wish that this run to stop although I think it can't be bothered because institutional investors are still pouring in their money. I agree that waiting for dips is difficult but the only thing that you need is patience and you can survive waiting for the dip, having a long term investment in bitcoin is a different story although not that much, you can buy right now and at the long term get a small profit or wait for a dip then divide the balance for short term and long term. The unexpected price drop is the scariest because there will be people that will be late for the party and end up not getting any fun.

I was waiting for the fall long time for the last 3 months, lots of money shorting.. And unfortunately, It never falls, This is very frustrating for the shorter like me, it just keeps going up, it may be due to people keep buying BTC, but I guess if bitcoin hit 30k it will go back to 20k. you never know.

Really sad for those who wants to short bitcoin. But i think, more and more new investors are entering into this market as bitcoin hit a new ATH. Because many famous youtubers who aren't into crypto industry , are started to make a video about bitcoin and as a result, more and more newbie are investing on it. In simple world, 2017/18's hype is on its way and bitcoin will start to fall just like 2018 if history is going to be repeated.

It's been moving on a general uptrend for the past few months now, but really, it depends on what you even want to do with it. As a daily trader, it's actually quite difficult right now imo, since there are times where the price just goes up, and then there are times where it just goes down. Makes it quite difficult to actually judge when to enter to invest. If you want to hodl, then I suggest you enter whenever the price goes down a bit, up to you when exactly, but from the general trend we're seeing it shouldn't suddenly collapse to below 20k in the next month or so.

A friend told me that some people borrowed money from banks to invest, and it had paid off for them
Has no one told you to never ever borrow money when investing? That's the stupidest decision of all time and could potentially lead to you being both bankrupt and in debt, and trust me, a life under debt is not something you'd want.

haha of course this makes me laugh, I'm sure he's short entry at the current price,
even though Bitcoin will exceed $ 30k at the beginning of the year.

Yup, you can laugh as much as you want until understanding the meaning of "Histroy is going to be reapted". Also, i'm still hodling bitcoin and etherem for long term and positive about bullish trend. But market needs correction before taking a bullish rally and btc may fall back to 20k again if the highest correction is happened. After that, we can also see a bullish or bearish trend as everything is possible on crypto market. But it'll take more times.

Yesterday, the bitcoin price is fallen to $26k, but today, the price can increase back to $28k. But that will not guarantee for bitcoin to still increase because the down of the price will have the chance to happen. The only signal you need is to watch closely at the market so you know when you need to buy and sell. You can buy bitcoin at any price you want, but you do not have to become greedy to take the profit because if you are late to take profit, you will need to wait for some time. So use the time to buy and sell by watching and analyzing the market.

I think that the first three months of every year are usually the time for a bearish or stagnant Bitcoin market.
This happened in the past 3 years, but there's no guarantee that it will happen in 2021.The world is in a very intense pandemic followed by a recession,so there's a possibility that the entire 2021 might be extremely bullish for Bitcoin. However,I don't want this to happen, because I want to buy cheap Bitcoins, not expensive Bitcoins. ;D

It will be paid off when you were entering the market when the price of bitcoin was so cheap last months but it's not for this time. I do believe if those who have borrowed money from the bank and use to invest bitcoin right now and they will never be profitable or they will get a big loss + interest.

In my opinion, the correction will happen possibly once it starts to go down gradually. Any skilled trader will be able to earn still in the down trend as long has he has a strategy in trading. Day traders don't care if the price of bitcoin is 100 dollars or 26,000 dollars. What is important that we develop these skills in making calculated risks and make these decision to solid trade that would give us profit in a few hours. Long time investors also need not worry. It might take years but you wait until the correction happened and then you might get lucky at that point.

I've been thinking, it's now very scary to buy bitcoin, as the bullish movement is at an unexpected level.
There's nothing to be afraid of to buy right now because even if the price starts to fall you can still have a profit unless you are aiming for a quick profit. Bitcoins grow over time that is why they always say that invest whenever you want.

When do you think bitcoin price will start falling?

What are the signs to watch out for?
No one exactly knows when Bitcoin starts to fall that is why we should always have to set our entry point and as well as the exit point or target price. There are some folks who are analyzing the situation and making their signals but this is still not a hundred percent certain. You could make yours actually.

A friend told me that some people borrowed money from banks to invest, and it had paid off for them

Well, there are several people who did that and actually make gains. However, it is not recommended especially if you don't know what you were doing, you might lose the money and become one of your problems because you need to pay it off.

I've been thinking, it's now very scary to buy bitcoin, as the bullish movement is at an unexpected level.

Well, if one is investing his extra money, I don't think it is really that scary since it just needs the patience to sell at a profit.  See 2017 peak investors, they have waited for 3 years to be able to sell at a profit.  It wouldn't scary for them  if the fund they use that time was just the extra money they had so they can wait for a longer period of time without jeopardizing their family budget.

When do you think bitcoin price will start falling?

Not around this time I think since the market is very bullish.  Just wait for a couple of months or a year unless an unexpected event happens that will cause the Bitcoin price to plummet.

What are the signs to watch out for?

If you wanted to buy at a discount, you can watch out for the short trader, many will short their trades if they found themselves at a profit already.  This way you can buy Bitcoin at a lower price.

Yes, you are right, it fell yesterday, but today Bitcoin has renewed all-time highs. It rose above $28,500. The further behavior of bitcoin is difficult to predict. Volatility is very high today and can jump in different directions.
I would not risk buying bitcoins at this particular time. But this is just my judgment. If you listen to experienced analysts, even their predictions differ. Some promises a continuation of the rally, while others herald the beginning of a fall.
It is worth weighing your Bitcoin buying decisions several times. But here on the forum, there has long been a rule that buying for a long time will always bring profit, it is enough to set yourself the right deadlines and have patience.

Nobody knows. What can we only give is a warning.
Observe Bitcoin in the first months of 2021, you will have an idea if when it will start to fall (if it will fall :D).

What are the signs to watch out for?
When the supports that you've plotted will be easily taken out then it can be a sign that it is starting to fall.
If you see red candles on the daily chart then it is also a sign.
News might also a sign too but don't rely too much on it. Better rely on technical rather than fundamental.

More attention has been drawn to btc and a lot more capital funds from companies are in the cycle now. I doubt it'll dip any significant drop.
It is possible in a bull market to reach a dip. Who knows which idiots bought at 20k back in 2017 and has been holding for 3years only for this opportunity to sell. Though the numbers will drop with time as price keeps increasing someone will buy at this price tol because of FOMO.

New capital is coming in which means more support for short term. These groups don't like to keep a bad portfolio, if they see a dip they will also drop their bags like anything.
It's good but only if the price keeps going up. Which is often going to not be the case.

My previous target of 25k was crossed and so my next target is 30k USD.

Let me promote my analysis: Bitcoin Streaks (Rise/ Fall) - 2013 to 2020 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5301867.0)

  • There are 21 fall streaks (based on my streak definition for 5+ consecutive days of fall or rise).
  • The 2 most terrible fall streaks are highlighted in dark red color in the table.
  • With my streak definitions and all identified streaks, the longevity of streak is from 5 to 6 days.
  • Two consecutive streaks usually have a time gap of 26 days. It means bitcoin does usually have 1 streak every month.

Despite the bullish movements and the price of bitcoin keep appreciating almost on a daily basis, the availability of bitcoin is not affected. There  are many bitcoin exchanges platform where you can get bitcoin in good rate. Regarding when will the price go of bitcoin starts falling it’s almost unpredictable at these point when many big business owners and company are acquiring bitcoins including. So the price of bitcoin will remain in the bull run.

A friend told me that some people borrowed money from banks to invest, and it had paid off for them

Yeah very possible when btc was 10k below, not too risky, but now i think it is highly risky to want to borrow money from the bank to invest or buy at this current price, nobody knows what will happen next and how big the correction will be when the time comes.

It depends on what you mean by the price of Bitcoin not going down because it was once sold at $28K price today before it dumps to the $27K price but I believe we have reached the last ATH market price of this year which is the $28K.

After this exciting event in bitcoin, be ready for the possible correction at anytime. We don't really know if when but much better if you always ready.
You are right about possible market correction but it will be the Q4 market of the year 2021 before we can see any form of market correction which some people call a blood bath.

There will be a Small changes soon but the Start falling? looks like Not possible to happen. The Capitalization in market now are from Real investors ,Meaning they are there to stay and not to Dump after the ATH reached.

When do you think bitcoin price will start falling?
Everyone is thinking about what will happen if what happened with XRP happens to Bitcoin. The financial system is highly affected by the decisions made by the regulatory bodies. Their decisions can be deadly(XRP). Besides the decisions, the reaction of people is very crucial. If bitcoiners stay strong and hold, not much harm will happen. It is true that BTC is a currency and asset, and it can go up and down. It can go down after reaching a strong resistance level and roam around that level. Also, illegalizing bitcoin can affect the price. It is true that it will work but the value will not be the same. I think the price will start to fall if the decentralized system of Bitcoin works erroneously.

Bitcoin at this period is testing all time high, with little pull back. It will be kind of difficult to predict a reversal point using technical analysis, buying bitcoin now you will have to be cautioned meaning you have to consider it as a long time investment so you won't be panic when the it reversed and goes below your purchase price.

You have to know the market sentiment, try to find out a lot of information against bitcoin because they will give an effect for the sentiment market. As for the current situation, I don't think the bullish market is end since we haven't met a bad information and also we haven't met a good information from all countries for their economic situation so the chance for bitcoin market change to bearish market is far to happen. You buy bitcoin and just choose for short term investment, set the profit target and you will get profit instead you just watching bitcoin price up and up it will hurt you.

Signs are very difficult to see but if you will just monitor the bitcoin price closely like daily if possible then I am pretty sure that you can easily notice if there are hard dumps that are happening in that day.

The hype of bitcoin is continuing to increase and the volume of bitcoin holders are continuing to grow so I am sure that this hype will continue maybe until next year 2021 as we are not yet at the middle of the bull season if I were to give my opinion so there are still a big room for bitcoin price to grow.

You shouldn't be scared on buying right now actually, you should take it as an opportunity since bitcoin's value hasn't stopped increasing yet. Start buying as much as you can, it maybe a risk but still it might be worth it if bitcoin's value continuosly rise. Bitcoin's downfall is far from happening still I think and we can use the pattern last time it had a bull run to learn when will the next bitcoin's fall occur. For now, we should enjoy the moment and use the high value as an advantage towards our goal on getting rich through crypto.

You can’t assume this.
Because it’s  on high demand now. The deference between demand and supply is to much. Even people who are not usual traders or investors are seeking to bitcoin you fill their bag with some good cash.
So its creating more pressure on suppliers.
So for now it’s quite unpredictable when it’s price gonna fall.

The fall has already begun, but it is still insignificant. Be prepared for the fact that this can happen at any time.

What are you talking about? I can see it going up almost every day.

The truth is that nobody will be able to tell you when to buy and sell.

The market depends on so many factors that you just can't be prepared for everything. In Spring Bitcoin was climbing and then US shut down because of the virus and the stock market fell taking bitcoin down with it.

It's impossible to predict what will happen but It's too early for a full reversal. All there can be now is a correction maybe back to 20 thousand.

Bitcoin is far from situation of falling, because of the trading value. Don't expect a big price fall until you have good enough reason. Also, regarding the TA part, using oscillators such as RSI and MACD can't be useful and give you a valid sign for the falling. But, a little correction Is possible to aim for higher levels later.

No one knows which it can fall without you knowing! Signs can be seen nor presume through indicators but doesnt mean that theyre precise but this is better rather than pinpointing
on when it would possible fall. Thing here is that you do know on when to take profit and when to get out and re-enter when you do accumulate cheaper coins.
If people will know about on when it gonna fall and when it would rise then consider yourself to be one of the most rich person on this world.  :D

At first, from reading only the title, I was thinking you just want to be cursed by people a most would want BTC to go up-hell, we want BTC to touch 30K.

Anyway, now that I read your post I get the situation. Basically, there needs to be great amount of sell orders to trigger BTC to first of all fall in price, though if investors still have a strong will the price will be bouncing back again. In that sense, all that matters is that money is being pumped into BTC through buying orders, if that gets too low there will be more sell orders, sending BTC price and investor confidence right down.

As it happens, it seems to me that this is that critical window and only time will be able to tell...

This is really momentous to crypto community as we are hitting a new ATH before we change the year to 2021. Really quite a risk if you do buy at this level, but no one knows when will this stop or go down. So if you believe in bitcoin, you will take this risk and buy your own stash. The future of bitcoin is good as many financial institutions are risking their money to buy more BTCs. But we don't know what will be their decision when they see btc starts to decline. Interesting how far btc price will achieve in the coming days or months...

I also have this feeling that there's gonna be a correction to happen just like the 2017 ATH. But Bitcoin is showing a different trend this year compared before, its maybe because there were greater community being established and more companies have come in to the system. I'll just wait for the year to get over and I will start to buy Bitcoin. The people are still in hype and buying impulsively. I'm also not sure about what will happen but if the price continues to rise that would be alright and if the price drops, that wouly be the best time for me to buy.

If you feel uncomfortable to buy bitcoin you do not have to do it, I think we can all see that such a huge price can be very discouraging for those that do not have a lot of bitcoin thinking that now they have to pay almost 10x what the would have paid in March but that is just the nature of the markets, there is always going to be a new bull run in the future so save your money and wait until the price goes down low enough for you to consider buying again.

The problem is that we don't know. If we're talking about what happened in the bullish 2017 and the bearish 2018, market isn't matured that time because of the ICO hypes, stringent regulations, banks and institutions creating FUD for the masses, etc. I believe for this year, the market is more matured. I expect a slight pullback due to paying crypto taxes every April, but there might be other circumstances as well that would possibly correct the price a bit before we see another big bull run.

Just remember, don't borrow money only to buy and trade crypto as you are getting a high risk in not returning the money to the lender due to that.

Some people state that the price of Bitcoin may reach $100K. So, it means there is plenty of time for Bitcoin to grow. But it is just a prediction, the price may drop at any rate as we don't know the highest rate in this bullish season.

To get an idea on when that might be, it's best to monitor and identify when market direction has changed. That way, we'd be able to change and adapt when it does. Currently, a large majority of the market participants are gunning for more upsides so I think we might see more price increase before we would have any major pullback. Until then, let's keep exploring Bitcoin and see how far it's set to go.

Many have given lots of future statistics about bitcoin price. Many ended their analysis on the positive side whereas some ended up concluding on the negative side but in all bitcoin as a decentralized currency will certainly encounter some hurdles that might slow its rate or value. The price will shake but will not result to total fall of bitcoin.

Many big business owners, companies and institutions are investing heavily in bitcoin and buy large amount of bitcoin and these is a welcome development for bitcoin and better chance to secure a good future.

When do you think bitcoin price will start falling?

What are the signs to watch out for?

It would still be a gamble any time of the year so if would depend on your discretion and timing for you to gain from buying bitcoins. Currently the price of bitcoin still continues to skyrocket and probably one of the best time to buy one but still read the current trends.

If the price of bitcoin rise to $100k, will it cause altcoin prices to drastically decline?

You never know. But remember what Warren Buffet said:"We simply attempt to be fearful when others are greedy and to be greedy only when others are fearful". Most of the people are in fear of seeing the price of bitcoin increase significantly this year. But the price does not start to reverse. Why? Because institutional investors, whales, etc are buying bitcoin as much as they can while other people still suspect the motives behind such increase.

Long-term investing is the right choice when you are not very good at trading. However, to make long-term investments, you must also pay attention to the current market conditions. Is the market bullish or bearish. Buying at the right time will give you more benefits. Do not buy at a very high price at that time. There is a time to enter the market and exit the market. Currently the price of bitcoin reaches $ 33k ATH, of course that is a new record that was achieved by bitcoin.

After every bullish trend, bear is waiting to pull back the market. As Bitcoin already set new ATH record yesterday, it might touch $40k or can take a chance to small correction. Correction is a must whether it is few days later or from today but this correction won't be similar after 2017 happened.

There's a lot of indicators to look when the price is going to fall you could try to read some tutorials about forex too since the crypto trading and forex trading has the same concept in terms of trading.

It's so ironically. Some months ago people were wondering when the price would start to go up, now we are dreaming about bearish market instead. I guess Bitcoin price will fall after reaching unbelievable highs.

It has most likely already reached it's highest price, it has already started falling.

Soon, because there are some signs, that is showing in the market causing other cryptocurrencies that are about to rise in this period. Bitcoin price was increased to $33k which is not too stable right now in the market, just because Ethereum and other cryptocurrencies are preparing to improve in the exchange market.

When bitcoin price is falling it will cause another decreasing the value . We do not want to see the price is dumping because right now we are focusing to the price to rise and I think it is not the best now to the bitcoin to dump. I know they have others who are do not want bitcoin to pump because it's envy of what bitcoin already achieve now.

$100K is still far from its value and I think the safest assumption we can say is at least $40K since not a lot of people/users really expected Bitcoin to hit $30K!!! Its quite true that Bitcoins time to grow is still there but this can also mean that Alternate Cryptocurrencies can still have the chance to grow as well which will propel the Cryptocurrency Industry into the public.

I cannot say this is 100% accurate but if you see a very long green candle after a very huge uptrend and next to it are 4-6 rejected candles in that resistance or a wall, and a very huge red candle after those rejections, that's the sign for me that we're on a downtrend already, and is a good sign to go for a short trade.

Like what has been mentioned already, you could use indicators such as EMA (50) + RSI for solid divergence. Back it up with Support and Resistance, and Candle stick patterns for more assurance.

In short, learn how technical analysis works to be able to read the price chart.

I have the same interpretation of the big dropped that I witnessed, it's very abrupt, bitcoin dump below $30k but that pull back was short and bitcoin started to rise again, however, I think it will be rejected again as the market is already due for correction.

Small crash in the price happened, but it wasn't a fall. Myself too thought that the price has started to fall, but from the market behaviour of bitcoin it looks like price correction. The rise in the market of ethereum also made me believe that the market is gonna drop. Later ethereum too dropped and now both bitcoin and ethereum are growing together.

Supply and demand are the signs every buyers and sellers have to look out for in every market. Once the price of bitcoin is deceasing in the market, show it is time to purchase bitcoin for future profit making. When the price is increasing in the market, show it's good for anyone to release their coins to market for profit making.

This also shows that as long as you have the capital to buy and invest bitcoin, you should grab that opportunity since a lot of people is doing it too and some of them can prove that it is profitable.

Since some of them already experienced that benefits and now continue to do the same routine, buy low and sell high.

They are buying when opportunities to buy at the dip or correction are available, then sell it once pumped take place and

bring them decent amount of profits.

It is kinda weird on how people's mind changes all of a sudden that from the thinking of when will Bitcoin price will rise up now people are asking when will Bitcoin price will fall down. Now people are having the realization that when opportunity of buying at dump price is just right in front of their noses they keep on complaining that why Bitcoin price is going down instead of grabbing the opportunity to buy more while it is affordable even for ordinary people. Now that the price of Bitcoin is continuously rising to the extent that it exceeded $30,000 price mark. It is also kinda risky borrowing from banks nowadays just to afford purchasing or investing into Bitcoin because despite of the fact that Bitcoin is continuously rising, no one knows what can happen over time. Better just put what you have and not what you cannot afford to loose. That would be much better.

your question is quite strange, everyone expects Bitcoin to continue to rise to an infinite high level every year, you are asking Bitcoin to go down.

I saw you registered in April 2020, as far as I know Bitcoin was still relatively low at that time, December just crawled over, Bitcoin as much as possible then, wherever you are, why now comes to your mind.
I think Bitcoin has no time to go down.

According to analysts of the Bitcoinist portal, Bitcoin can fall in price to $10.5 thousand. Over the past month, the cryptocurrency has risen by 40%, to $15.4 thousand, and is now in the overbought zone. Traders can start taking profits, which will lead to a decline in the BTC rate, he explained.

Market volatility may occur on November 12-13, when the US will publish data on unemployment and other economic indicators.
At the moment, the asset is called overbought and traders predict early profit-taking.

If the main digital coin starts to become cheaper, the majority of altcoins will show similar dynamics.

This's really good advice! The main thing here is to be careful and not make rash decisions after which you will regret.

I think bitcoin price can fall down a bit anytime. There are still a lot of chances of correction becoming. But in my opinion, it's not the worst time to invest in BTC. Probably you won't get a huge profit of 1000% in the few months but it's still a well promising investment. I'm pretty sure Bitcoin will become an integral part of our life in this decade so you will definitely not regret buying BTC now.

I'm sure no one can be sure when Bitcoin starts to fall, so I recommend always using stop-losses. But if we look at the data on CMC sites,
the dominance of Bitcoin has fallen by 2%. And the price of Bitcoin has also dropped to a price of $ 31,000, maybe this is a sign that Bitcoin
will start to fall. Or is this a sign that the alt season will start, no one can know.

However, based on my analysis, the current decline in Bitcoin price is only a correction that is happening because some holders take profits.
But I'm sure the Bitcoin price will recover soon. Actually if you want to buy Bitcoin at the current price it is quite good, because in the next few
days it is likely Bitcoin will pass the resistance price at $ 34,000.

The price should begin to drop gradually if the price of Bitcoin reaches the highest achievement in the current bullish season. But the problem we don't know when it is. Some people state that the price of Bitcoin may reach $100K. So, it means there is plenty of time for Bitcoin to grow. But it is just a prediction, the price may drop at any rate as we don't know the highest rate in this bullish season.

Today the price went as low as 28k but then the bulls immediately came to the rescue and the price is now above 31k, to me this is very telling, the bears tried to create a fast crash of the market thinking they could begin a negative trend in the market but they were immediately defeated by the bulls, to me this means there is still a lot of interest to buy bitcoin despite its high price so most likely we will reach 40k during the next weeks.

I completely agree. If you kind of trading and you don't like boring holding then you should use the Stop-loss opportunity to decrease the risks of losing profit. By the way ETH has already reached $1k and it pretty similar to the 2018 situation. I think most altcoins holders will become a bit richer soon enough  ;)

None of us crypto enthusiasts no exactly when the bitcoin will fall especially seeing that the market is so volatile. Even those who are crypto experts and well known crypto predictors cannot easily say when will it falls down. However, if you can see that you gain a bit profit then grab every opportunity so in that case it can avoid you from losing funds.

I think Bitcoin has a major breakthrough in the near future, and it will not decline in the short term. At present, the new coronavirus is breaking out and spreading in a large area around the world. Governments in various countries are raising debts to reduce the negative impact of the virus on the economy. The return on investment in the real economy Low, U.S. Treasury bond yields have continued to remain low due to the Fed’s massive purchases, causing other assets to rise sharply.
