Most companies would hesitate given the potential of bitcoin to appreciate in value over time. I would love to have this kind of payment setup for my contract, though I understand that we’re still limited by the legislation with regulations and laws re: salaries. It would be a good thing for companies to start adopting the said system, really, but it’ll be hard to get there that’s sure.

So Panthers are sending half of Okung's paycheck to Strike, they swap it to BTC and then that BTC is transferred to Okung's cold storage address. Interesting. I wish this was more widespread. I for one would love to opt in to something similar if my workplace offered such an option. This is as getting a free year in your lifespan. It would be amazing if he counts it like that, take a year off and just travel being already paid ;D |
