Title: mining with multiple cards on nicehash,
Post by: aliitp2 on December 29, 2020, 05:09:51 PM
hi

my questions consist of two parts:-

1) can i have a mix of 2x EVGA 1080 Ti(s) and a single Gigabyte 1080 Ti (all cards watercooled) on the same system ?...

2) can nicehash mine with three 1080 Ti(s) ?...

is 1250 PSU enough ?

thanks,,,

Brands doesn't matter, Gtx1080ti is GTX1080ti whether it's ZOTAC, MSI, ASUS doesn't matter, if there are up to 3 PCIe slots on your motherboard you are good to go, I mined with 6x different gpus using nicehash and they all works, guess what? I even missed Nvidia gpu with Amd gpus, it works well

Yes nicehash supports Multiple gpu mining, you can use over 12 graphic cards on Nicehash or even setup a big mining farm and direct all your miners to nicehash pool, 1250 watts you mean? Yes it's enough for three gtx1080ti, a single gtx1080ti draws 230watts mining Ethereum or Ethash Algorithm coins so that's 690-700 watts for three gtx1080ti, enough juice left, nothing to worry about.

they will be hot in your pc case. if you open cover will be good heating the room :) but if they plugged too close to each other they will be hot.

OP never talked about his cooling setup and I'm sure he have cooling experience too, the three gtx1080ti can't sit right next to each other without a riser, and he or she already mentioned water cooling so getting hot is a less problem here

thanks to all of you guys, and am sure SLI is not needed for multi GPU setup for nicehash !...

actually i was gonna ask that !...

my rig consist of a single swiftech MCP650 pump (maximum speed) 1x 200mm RAD, 1x 240mm RAD, 1x 120mm RAD, CPU Block, and 3x 1080 Ti, is the pump capable and effecient for such a setup ?!...

thanks,

thanks,

maybe

first  clock the cards to 60%

and check temps.

I have hybrid 1080tis that cool fine with 1x 120mm radiator.  but the rigs are open face so 4 cards set to 170 watts each work fine and do around 42mh each

clock the cards to -60% less core ?!? wont that mean less hashrate ?!?...

what about increasing the Memory Clock, is that fine ??...
