Title: Is there demand for european giftcards?
Post by: js1985 on March 25, 2014, 08:48:49 PM
I sell a lot of US amazon.com cards here for last year but wondering if there is any demand for european giftcards?

Also does anyone know if there is any clear rulling on what is the situation in regard to VAT would be? last thing I need is to have to add 20+ % on each sale :(

As far as I'm aware there is no VAT on multi-purpose vouchers. VAT is taken at the point of sale when they are spent at the till/checkout.

VAT is only due on single purpose vouchers like a pay-as-you-go mobile phone top-up cards that will never go near a till/check-out after purchase.
