And also Try to edit your Title before you Get Redtag than merit ,because that is a Obvious merit Begging , asking if you can get a merit but doing nothing to have 1? Be more constructive and Helpful , it will be awarded and needed nothing to ask.

For me the whole 2020 looks like a holiday season and actually bored of lockdown so its time to gather on such special occasion, unfortunately the second wave started to spread so better wait for one more year. ;D

After reading your post, i thought that OP is only wishing Happy New Year and he did not ask for the merit. Later i realized that the OP topic heading was Was that an indirect way of asking for merit  :D
