It's supposed to be a lot more than that right now, If conditions remain the way they are, maybe we could see ETH between $1,500 to $2,000 even if it was for a moment. BTC is almost two times its previous all-time high in 2017. So I would expect ETH to also reach a new all-time high during this bull run

A massive price growth yesterday shows that ETH already follow the trend of Bitcoin but let's wait first for the confirmation for follow up pump. Sometimes this kind of massive pump will follow up with immediate correction. Overall altcoin is near to come already.  ;)

I have read somewhere that all the money is flowing into Bitcoin, which is one reason we have hit multiple highs in just a couple of weeks. I think ETH deserves it as well, knowing that it has many things under its belt. It has the most use case for different people utilizing it as an important part of their project. Imagine reaching as high as BTC one day.

ETH is almost impossible to use for low amounts, fees are extremely high even for transferring only ETH, not using DeFi.
It is horrible, maybe we just wait to get lower transaction fees but since DeFi from July, fees are so high. It isn't nice to transfer Ethereum because fees are not economical.
ETH Devs need to improve it a lot.

If the increase continues, Ethereum's price could hit $ 1k today. well, this is really really good for those who hold ethereum. Honestly, I believe that the current price will come, but there is so much pressure in 2020 that I am selling Ethereum. well, congratulations to those who hold ethereum down. I can remember the time where ETH was at its lowest and a lot were actually doubting that it's gonna be worth it investing in this coin, a lot were even saying that it's going to die, but looking at how ETH is right now, those doubters were definitely making a big clownery to themselves, ETH is definitely worth to invest on, it always has been.

As long as Bitcoin don't stop getting traction, I think all altcoins (in the top 10) will also have a positive move upward. That always has been the trend all this years. Add that if Ethereum 2.0 really does a good job, then I think Ethereum is still a good altcoin to invest to.

Yup there's more probability that it  can easily break it ATH, but remember one thing
If you want to buy now,then please use stop loss as per your risk and reward.
It's better to come out with small loss rather than holding it for a year.

It's not worth anymore if people prefer to use other smart contract platform but overall considering how how many people already recognize ETH its worth to have this kind of price. Though, the fee is unbearable and could potentially hold back ETH.

Ethereum is up 46 percent in price over the past week, according to CoinMarketCap. and bitcoin by 12 percent. If earlier ethereum grew in price relatively slowly, then in just a day it increased by more than $ 200 and today it has overcome the $ 1,000 mark. This is very good news and should also stimulate the growth of other altcoins. the price will definitely going to break the all time high but there's no exact time or date on when it might happen. what's on my mind is that it still a good time to invest in Ethereum while it didn't reach yet the all time high.

at the time of replying your post. the ethereum price is $1077 so yeah it already crossed $1k mark . I think last night it crossed that mark once and then it toke some correction and now it's again above the mark of $1k.

Honestly speaking Ethereum deserves more than a thousand dollar, it's the most undervalued project I've known since 2018, anyways it's good to finally seeing it spiking up this much, I'm expecting a new all time high this year, let's wait and see, I'm also sure that whales will be in total control

Demand for ethereum has always been there tho. It's just ETH is not hard capped which keeps pulling down its potential for its price to arise even further.

I believe that the drive which further push ETH price is those big investments from some big companies like what happened to BTC.

I consider this a reasonable thing considering bitcoin has already exceeded its ATH, $ 1000 is probably the basis of value that will make ETH increase in the next few days, because large investors will be eyeing ETH with significant price movements making them interested in what ETH can make money.

Oh my God, this is a good start we might be prosperous if we look at the current market conditions, to be honest I still hold a little ETH but some have been sold, but most importantly I have felt the ATH we've been waiting for.

ETH price continued to move higher in the recent days with the price action now approaching the 50% level of the Dec 2017 – Dec 2018 sharp drop.

Today the ETH hit both the target of $1000 and 1100 and again it is declined to below $1000. So, it is yet to be confirmed further rally towards $1500. If the price will again hit the $1100 and sustain above it then there must be further rally you will see.

The cryptocurrency now floats around $ 956 but has increased by over 15% in the past 24 hours. New ATH? I don't think so, "ALL TIME HIGH" of ETH is at $1300, not $1000 which is what we've seen today.

Maybe a new high after few years but not the ATH or ALL TIME HIGH as there's a big difference between the two.

It is possible as the price just reached its all time high valuation after going down below $50 and it is possible it will venture to new highs considering how the bitcoin rally played out and it is possible that the price of bitcoin has reached its peak in this rally and now everyone is booking their profit and investing in alts.

I want to correct your opinion, because the ATH price for Ethereum is $1,432.88 (Jan 13, 2018) and now Ethereum hasn't reached or even made a new ATH, so of course Ethereum is still worth it to investing and I believe if Ethereum can still give us profit.

All is well for ethereum as well hence bitcoin reached it's all time high and of course ethreum don't want to be left behind of the price surges this year. Not just ethereum and bitcoin but also some altcoins doing some good work this month. Bright future ahead for this year and we just warming up for sure and great expectations ahead of us.

I could hardly believe ETH could hit a price of $ 1000, but it could even break $ 1150.  very shocking.  but I'm not sure ETH can go up above $ 1100 +.  seems like that is the peak .. just like bitcoin which is currently experiencing a decline.  ETH will also follow suit.  this moment is a record for bitcoin to reach ATH.

I can see Ethereum breaking its ATH this month or this quarter at most but it would be difficult for it to break its ATH in BTC which was 0.35, Ether at 0.35BTC = $10500 at the current price. I don't think it will be a problem if you are not sure about the ETH token to reach its ATH this year, because every surprising thing this year can also happen, even the opposite of what you say can also happen, especially ETH tokens are Altcoins which has a good rating and a large community, and I saw in the past few ways when Bitcoin experienced a price decline, the effect on the ETH price was not too much and even the ETH price was still going up even though it was not above $ 1100 +.

Ethereum price great move last couple months. Every Eth investor achieve very good return. My expectations eth price again break since 2017 ATH. Now Eth chart very bullish mode so this year possible make New ATH Eth price.

It was nice to hold Ethereum when it crossed the 1000 mark. Sold it for 1007 but it's rising again. I think it's now the late stage of the bull run when bitcoin becomes stagnant while alts rise. The rapid price changes are good for day traders but if anyone want to hold Ethereum, I think this is not the right time to buy it unless you keep a safe stop loss.

The same with me last 17th December I bought more than 16 eth at 700 and sold just 800$ now ethereum raise more than $1k, I think this happen if not be patient waiting good moment for ethereum raise higher price, but I will learn more in the next time hold few weeks to see how increase ethereum price, will back above $2k or not because looks many potential from ethereum, after bitcoin have good price almost altcoin will growing up.

I can see that we are not yet at the middle of the bull season so I guess there are still a lot of time for the Ethereum to grow or increase it's price therefore I can say that it is still worth to buy Ethereum at this price.

Though we need to be wise and continue to monitor the Ethereum price closely if we don't want to loss that much in case the Ethereum price will just fall pretty bad, in this scenario it will be better if you have stop loss plan where you will sell your holding if in case it will hit your stop loss price. And you will just rebuy again if you think that is the bottom of dip but you should not worry to this kind of scenario if in case you are planning to hold your Eth for a long time as Eth has a bigger chance of hitting more than 1k in the following months base on the market movement.

Lucky are those people who have invested in ETH. It will surely rise higher in the coming days. It might sound too speculative but we shouldn't underestimate the capability of Ethereum as it's one of the best coins that always exceeds our expectations. Ethereum has a problem in transaction fees if they can solve that in ETH 2.0 then there might be possible more increase in price. but if not many developers will move to other project to use for creating smart contract tokens. Just this day ethereum asked too much fees more than bitcoin transaction asked. I hear that you need to pay $50 fees for just single transferring tokens to other wallet and its not IMHO.

You are mistaken. If you look closely at the ethereum chart for January 10, 2018 on Binance, you will see that the ATH is $14400. Therefore, it is too early to pour champagne for the new ATH of ethereum. It is possible that we will see a new high in the coming days.

I observed this even before, when bitcoin slide a little the price or when there is a correction. Altcoins will also move the price up, it looks like it is the time for an altcoin to move and they will the same resist when bitcoin back move upward again.

Btc and coin eth are no doubt these two coins are able to go through bad times in 2018 and now these two coins have proven that they can get up I have kept eth coins and haven't opened a wallet for a long time, recently I opened a wallet and I was surprised to see the price which changed drastically.

Although have upgrade with 2.0 still not change with fees transaction and delay for sending coin, I think need solution how to make gas fees sending is lower like before under 10 gas fees transaction, now many transaction of eth coin need minimum 10$ for fees payment only and take few minutes sending arrived, I think this bad side for ethereum platform and many coin still use eth erc20 platform for their coin and make bad reputation when transaction coins.

The price might be moving slowly comparing to the large leaps and movements Bitcoin is doing right now but that is just fine. Bitcoin has the same movements in the past but I am not saying that it is the same as bitcoin, what I am saying is that each cryptos has its own down and I think they will also have their ups in the near future. Why $2000 ? In 2017-2018 Ethereum reached ATH thanks to ICO boom. Now the boom has gone and there is no locomotion that will push Ethereum price forward. Blockchain late update showed that there are still difficulties for developers. All that DeFi boom gives good chances to earn, but from the other side the growth of transaction fees reducec Ethereum popularity. By itself, it is doubtful that Ethereum price will grow.

Ethereum hasnt reached its ATH, and you say that in 25 days its price will double. Dont you think this sounds unrealistic ? It is good that you believe in such thing, but you havent given any argument why it should happen. "ETH is the king of altcoins" is not an argument. Any king can be overthrown.

Yeah support from any ICO project on 2017 make ethereum raise to higher price, but when many ICO failed more than two years ethereum hae goingd own and exactly ever under $100, but now investor coming not only from individual but also many investor coming from companies and make ethereum raise higher price above $1000, how much lucky for every one ever bought ethereum during under $100 and now get much profit after ethereum raise above $1,200. just chance come once on your life and never miss if you get good opportunity next time to buy back ethereum.

The fact that Ethereum has grown very much in price is not a disputed fact. However, with all this, I believe that this is not an obstacle to growth and further. I think that in the near future we will hit the historical maximum.

I highly recommend investing in Ethereum, because for me the best choice for investing in crypto other than Bitcoin is Ethereum. For 5 years I have
known the crypto world, I think Ethereum is still the best altcoin. So I am also a holder of Ethereum, and I believe Ethereum is able to return to

Price of the Ethereum attracted a lot of new investors and Ethereum ecosystem users which made it impossible to use, because fees are incredible. UNfortunately, ethereum still needs updates and when we will get them,  new ATH can be reached. The biggest problem of the Ethereum is scalability. I guess that concern might probably be solved or at least lessen after the Ethereum 2.0 upgrade, as It focuses on improving the transaction speed and scalability.
