for years the shitcoin known as Dash has been sold to newbies by fooling them into thinking it is better than bitcoin and one of their advertising strategies have always been to introduce it as a "privacy coin" again with "better than bitcoin" lie.

now that there is a crackdown to remove all this types of shitcoins they come clean and tell the truth because now it suits them!

Monero is the only true privacy coin people should invest in imo.

I still don't get why some noobs get into this wasted coins without direction even when they are been delisted from reputable exchanges.
Why some many investors prefer this coins is because of their privacy and anonymity they provide to people when making a transaction.
The strategy is a normal thing in crypto, they can shill the hell out of a project, they will even go to some extent to say it's either replacing bitcoin or its doing this than Ethereum.

Top altcoins are not all from their marketcaps. There are adoption, use cases, and communities behind any project. All of these elements build up an ecosystem of one project.

I don't believe that any altcoins can be better than bitcoin if combine all of elements. It is more sucked if expand it to top 100 altcoins.
Even in the top 10, Tether USD (USDT) has many drama recent years and I don't know when they will be sucked like XRP, DASH, Monero, etc. As there are many other available stable coins (USDC, DAI, etc.) the drama on USDT is possible and it can make a shock on the market but long run, the market will be fine with or without the USDT. There are alternative stable coins.

People and the way they think, sigh! Dash did lied about the privacy part of their project but OP just make everything sound as I dash have never got so many people rich, I can remember in 2014 this same dash was sold for 0.21$ and in 2017 it's ATH was 1,642$ per dash, did this project exit scam? Hell NO, so because they lied about privacy like Bitcoin and not like Monero you called it a shitcoin?

There are dozens of topics in the forum with the title of 'Top Altcoins'. Why did you specifically say Dash?
I can say a lot of shit coins before Dash. I think Dash has valid technology and will be successful.

I think dash team are scared of SEC that's why they change tone to bitcoin level of privacy and also dash will be out of bittrex exchange too unfortunately but still this isn't enough to stop supporting dash, they've did amazing job since launch and I'm satisfied with them, we are all human don't expect all projects to have strong team, some will be better than others

I think that we must not take care about all of these altcoins. I have heard in the past tons of accusations against Dash (legit or not legit)... but it's obviously a project team will always shill for their product. We have only one solution, make our research and decide wisely were to invest.
Between 5-10% of altcoins deserve a little interest the rest is just junk (or a copy of bitcoin ;) )

One of the things I have seen so far is, any shitcoin can say whatever they want to get recognised and attention from investors, this has been the bane that drove many of them to success and after a very long time it is either the truth is made known or they gradually lose track of things and starts dying. Also, I find it wrong for any coin to liken themselves to Bitcoin, just stick to what you have to offer and keep working on it.
Seriously, it is very wrong for a project team like that of a coin like Dash to lie and not only that, but kept maintaining it till this time because had it been the truth is made known for a long time or at the early stage of their development it would have caused a massive dump of the price, but now they are being cracked on they had to save their skin, well let's see what will happen on the long run if their use case already will save them or if the truth they have made known will save them.
Also, I don't think Dash is a shitcoin but wrong for the team to do what they did.

Dash is a old altcoin project, if this project is shit the value will be too bad right now, also it's marketcap and volume will be affected, there are many projects that people have called shitcoins but they end up providing good ROI to investors, make sure you don't judge dash the same way, any project that gives good ROI is welcome for me

It looks like qwizzie hasn't seen this thread yet. He seems to know more about the technicalities on Dash case than most of us who don't follow this closely. It would be good to read his comments for a wider perspective

He's a huge promoter of Dash. The post from the other topic has huge images for no actual reason (other than promotion). So.. yeah..



There were days when the promotion army of Dash was engaging into flame wars when Monero promoters tried to warn nicely that Dash privacy has possible issues.
I guess that such narrative is no longer suitable for them, hence here we are...



I fear that more than half of top 20 coins from CMC fall into shitcoin category. Greed is strange...

I care less about lies, it's always about making good ROI for me, judging from the past value of dash I'd say they've fulfilled that part already, going back on their words shows they are humans just like everyone of us, we all lies at one point in time, everyone is a sinner too

You do know that those coins are being removed because they are privacy coins right? I mean,,, Monero being called a shitcoin since when? Dash I somewhat agree,,, it was always a shady coin with shady premines and what not and big marketing practices, unlike Monero which actually had a use case.
