I just created an account so I could sell an unredeemed 2012 1 BTC Casascius. Where do I go about doing that here and what is the best way to do it? Auction? Is there someone that runs the auctions or do I do it myself? Any estimate in what something like that might sell for? Also who do you guys use for shipping them? Thanks in advance for all input. You can run your own auction. I'd recommend having a starting bid of face value, and low increments due to the rising bitcoin to fiat prices. Don't forget an end time with time zone specified. With shipping, depending on country, you'll probably want someone like ups, or fedex. I wouldn't recommend using anything like standard mail via usps, royal mail, etc. due to the risk of package loss. Title: Re: New User Looking to Sell 2012 Casascius 1 BTC Post by: msin on January 07, 2021, 05:12:21 AM UPS with brown tamper tape, don't even declare value, just send it and it'll get there, make an arrangement with buyer and escrow to split btc if it's lost, tracking will show if something happens. I've had 10btc Cas shipped to me no prob. High declarations/insurance draws the most attention. Otherwise Fedex overnight. Wait til spring/summer, snow can mess up deliveries. There's always a chance, but it's pretty rare.
