Well to make more money in alts specially Ethereum, you should have invested on it while it is cheap.

But to be on the safe side, I would rather buy alts that are in the top 10, don't want to get into a shitcoin that will be used by pumpers and trading signal groups because that's how you are going to lose money here. Stick to the top coins and you will be safe, and just be a holder for long term gains.

ETH is the top position on altcoins.  The price of ETH has almost doubled in the last few days. I think the price will go up further and there will be a new ATH record. So I think holding ETH would be a wise decision. But above all, you have to keep an eye on the market. Because once the price goes down, it may take many days to pump the price.

Everything looks like the capitalization of the entire crypto market is increasing, new money is coming in, the bulk of course goes to Bitcoin, but some of it flows to altcoins

The Bitcoin rally has been replaced by the altcoin rally. After a certain saturation, the Bitcoin price will increase again.
Ethereum is getting a lot of attention. Apart from that, I can count dozens of altcoins worthy of investment  :)

This is right, a wise hodler should have put money in etheruem while it was cheap around 200 dollar but now is up there. Etheruem is a big altcoin that all know will do well as bitcoin was flying.
For altcoins generally I think the bull will only start with the top altcoins first before altcoins below 50 position can move along. Etheruem is definitely a good buy but some others can give good profit because they are cheaper than etheruem and in profit margin.

It is good if you already have ethereum. Maybe you can try to buy at a low price because I think after the current price, ethereum price will down, so that can be your chance to buy again.
Many potential altcoins will increase later, but we need to find them, which is not easy to do.
You can stick to buy more ethereum because I am sure that the ethereum price will not just stop at the current price.
The price will increase more than the price now.

I personally also chose Ethereum as an investment and now is still the right time for you to buy Ethereum, because the price of Ethereum has not risen very high (reached its ATH), so of course it will give you the opportunity to still get profit from Ethereum if the price of Ethereum increase very high (reaching or passing its ATH).

I was skeptical at first, but the sign is there where some random people start asking me via telegram about some random tokens. So sad that I can only inform so little, and most of the uninformed newbies would fall into scams.

I will HODL 3 altcoins who have a great team and a solid growth potential based on real use cases:

1: NPXS: Wants to make crypto available for everybody looks like a coin that could go to the moon. They already have pay terminals all over the world and I think that this could become a TOP 100 coin.
2: MDT: Wants users to get paid when there data is used. In current times data is the most valuable asset so this has a lot of potential
3: XEM: Is already well known but I believe in the project.

Please make sure to always read up about what you invest in. Make sure there is a team behind the token and make sure you believe in the project.
Not everybody will make a lot of money buying and selling altcoins. In fact most people will lose unless greed get's grip of the market again. do note that than the value is a bubble for most of the altcoins (outside of the top 100) with a few exceptions.

Picking those exceptions is onmly possible when you know the project and are a bit lucky.

I still choose Bitcoin for investment. other than that I'm interested in your title, about alt season was started . Do you know,  which altcoins have the potential to increase this year? So that maybe it can help people when find alternatives way to invest.

Opening of the year was pretty good after bitcoin is pumping and then ethereum following the price surge and now altcoins are showing off too in the market. This indications that the season of alts is happening right now and it's a good sign that crypto market finally healthy. Investors, traders and holders are happy and determined to make profit and hold.

I can only see Ethereum taking the lead here, many altcoins are still not showing good sign of the bullish trend yet, makes me think that some altcoins that aren't good enough might be left behind in this altcoin season but that's too early to tell right now

Your decision is very right, now is not the right time to buy Ethereum, but you are not too late to enter. Currently Ethereum is a good choice for investing, in the last few days, Ethereum price movement chart is very good, In my opinion, Ethereum price will continue to increase and will hit a new ATH in the next few weeks.

I agree with you I have collected ethereum and bnb since two months ago,and now I'm just thinking about the right time to sell.wait one to two months to sell or sell now because I am also afraid that the price of Ethereum will decline.

I can count on Ethereum until it hit a new ATH just like BTC does. Only 18% price pump is needed to cross the previous ATH as far i get this from coingecko. After it hits a new ATH, none knows what is going to happen. Maybe we can see a new massive alt season in February and newbies should not believe on any so called game changing project to be honest. But small alt season is started for top alts.

I know right! I have been waiting for this since a long long time. I believe it's just a matter of few days now until ETH breaks it's All Time High.
Ether has always been a potential coin and since the launch of PoS it has been growing at a good pace. Thanks to rise in bitcoin for boosting ether's USD pair value.
If ether keeps rising in bitcoin pair just like how it is now, then it might grow massively in the next few months.

Before altcoins started to increase even more, it's better to invest already. But of course, we need to be wise at selecting altcoins and it's safer to go with top altcoins. And since we are talking about top altcoins, eth would be one of our best options when choosing where to invest in. But aside from eth, I also go with bnb.

who said, look at Binancocoin. Bnb price movements almost follow the current trend of Btc and Ethereum price movements, Binance is also making pretty good price movements. I watch this Altcoin. it's just that the Bnb price movement is not significant like the current Eth price., but this is a good opportunity to buy it before Altcoin season arrives.

Eth is best choice in alts and its on num 1 in list. But you should learn first about your project where you wamt to invest. So keep your eyes on the market and find good time to invest.

Looking the hype of crypto industry, more people are coming here and keep their fund investment on this market.I'm glad because finally altcoin start following the bitcoin rally.most of good altcoins pump minimum one-third of their price especially eth got incredible pump and i think will go long and break thd previous $1.4k record.ever doge able to prove itself by its huge processes.but i expect good price for others altcoins

I don't think that the trend is going to hold. The altcoin prices are going up, but I can't find a single logical reason behind it, other than the carry over effect from Bitcoin. During the past 12 months, I haven't read a single article on any increase in altcoin acceptability, or increased mainstream adoption. The current rally just reminds me of the boom and bust of 2018.

Cardano seems very bullish as it replaced DOT on top.  Alts are going crazy. If I just knew this will happen earlier than we could predict, I would have bought ADA thousands of it while its price was $0.02.

ETH was the preferred investment by many altcoin lovers, it's just disappointing however because of its transaction fee rising despite the ETH 2 update.

There are lots of good altcoins that you can invest but still, you should look at the movement of its price because that is really unpredictable. Try researching the new updates that make them famous and make every investor have interests in that particular token. There are lots of tokens you can invest, try looking at those tokens that are listed at a top in coinmarketcap. Try choosing those altcoins that are safe and really profitable to invest in.

Yes, now the altcoin season has started, fortunately I have saved a few altcoins from yesterday, and now I can smile enjoying the benefits.  I only hold ETH and LINK.  and it has made me profitable a lot.  will the altcoin season continue or until here, I have sold my assets for fear that there will suddenly be a storm.

Your choice is right for ethereum, but I think if buying eth at this time is already high in price,  but if  you believe  eth will  continue to
raise the price, it is your best decision. But I will not buy a coin whose price has been to the top.

I was thinking the same thing. Though I also have seen a lot of people saying that this is just a introduction to the real thing and I get why they say so.

I kinda have the feel like I had back in 2017 summer but I also think we will have some corrections coming. Then you act fast and buy the dip because you will not have many chances to do so.

The flagship of altcoins is ethereum and it will be possible to assume that the altcoin season is open only after ETH reaches its ATH. And now ethereum is literally one step away from its high and we can expect that it will reach it in the near future.

What exactly is your strategy? Keeping Ethereum? If yes, then it is quite an appropriate strategy, given how much growth it has shown lately.
Personally, I am waiting for it to break through the $ 1500 mark, and I believe that it will happen very soon.

Also keep in mind that "profit is a profit" mentality in order to gain and not to loss any amount in your funds no matter how big or small it is especially now that the market is on its bullish momentum which is very good way to earn plenty amount of profit. And if I were to choose a token to invest and trade with, I have XLM seeing the news that ukrainian banks will now accept xlm as one of their digital assets it will definitely a very huge hype and pump for the this alt.

No, I do not think alt season has started. Bitcoin is still dominating the market and unless it stops pumping nothing will happen. In my opinion, the best altcoin to invest in the current market is XLM. Ehtereum has already reached a price point where it is no longer cheap. It would have been great to invest in it a few months back when it was trading at a really low price.   

ETH is the best for those who are also having trouble picking up alt-coins.
I know that you and I are not the only one who are having a hard time deciding what alt-coin to buy so we might as well stick to only the best alt-coin that we know.
We shouldn't jump into the alt-coins that are being hype and getting a lot of investor into FOMO state.

Ethereum could be the one with one of the highest increases in the market, however if you look at most of the coins for the past one week, you will see that almost all of them had a huge increase, combine that with a whole year of 2020 going up, they have at least tripled their prices since this time last year. Ethereum is 4th highest earner this week, so it is definitely looking like that is the big earner, but stellar, cardano and maker made a lot bigger increases, stellar literally had 142% in just one week. On top of this almost 15 coins made 50%+ returns, and basically we had a blast for all projects this week.

This is of course talking about only the past 1 week, for example Ethereum went from 800 dollars or so to being 1.100 dollars, which is a HUGE increase I agree, however eth was about 150 bucks or so last year this time around, so reaching 800 was already a big achievement. I have said before that eth will reach to 1200 and it is getting there, nearly there, it was obvious that anyone who have money would profit a lot from having ethereum for sure.

If you are just starting to buy now then you're a little bit late with everything because coins are starting to go up already especially those top coins.

Ethereum?? Its price doubled in less than a month if I'm not mistaken. Top 10 coins if not doubled are tripled within the past month and this is something that most of us aren't expected to happen. We can say that the Alt season has started yes but know when to exit if needed. Buying Ethereum right now with its current price has a higher risk and lower reward. Wait for it to consolidate at least before entering.

I've decide to have more low rated projects in my portfolio than top altcoins because I believe that's where real money will come from, very soon altcoin season will be at it's maximum performance, low marketcap coins will bring high ROI than popular altcoins
