With Bitcoin accounting for about $690 billion of that.

Well on our way to the expected 12 trillion

This is the obvious next stop, I think if we hit this market valuation, those haters cannot really ignore how big bitcoin is today and in the next coming years. There are a lot of comparisons to big companies such as Tesla, Google or Apple in terms of market cap, but sooner or later bitcoin will join them on top.

And definitely $50k-$100k is within reach this year, there are no ceiling with the way institutions and huge companies are putting their money on the market.

So let's wait how long can we reach that $1 trillion.

I expect bitcoin to overtake amazon in market cap next year, that's my hope.

It's funny how everyone is choo-choo now, no limit, trillions, etc etc, while just a few months ago it was like "will we ever see $10k again". Moderate your expectations and you will not be disappointed. Those who bought at $19k in 2017 were crying for 3 years and blaming everyone else and probably sold at $4k all bitter and angry... don't be that person.

With the bullish market continuing without much of price correction and downward deviation there is more chance of bitcoin itself hitting the $1 trillion within the ongoing year. When there is growth with bitcoin, automatically the same reflects over the top altcoins. This will surely make the dominance level of ethereum grow along with bitcoin. So, a bigger growth than rest of the altcoins is required for $1 trillion at marketcap at the shortest.

Be glad that we're able to witness the market of crypto hitting $1 trillion while those who have been disappointed with the bearish market before, already quitted.

It's more than halfway there and we'd definitely going to see that very soon. Bitcoin must be around $50k-$53k by that time happens.

Gold market is $10 Trillion (roughly) which means if it takes bitcoin a decade to get to $1 Trillion then it's not too long until we reach the same market cap as Gold if all these mass adoption goes on because bitcoin and altcoins marketcap growth is exponential and it's not an impossible thing to reach that much of a market cap for the whole cryptocurrency within 2 decades.
Man, it's getting exciting to see crypto market as a whole evolve into a more mature market  :o.

Nice milestone, and all that is achieved with new supply actually slowing down. Fiat will be looking on with envy for sure. Supply ever-decreasing, max supply in a few decades, and yet market capitalization growing.

Bitcoin at $1 trillion on its own requires less than 45% valuation growth. That's really not unlikely in 2021 itself!

I totally agree. But let us enjoy these moments after a few boring years. It is very pleasing to see how the bitcoin beats ATH after ATH. When we enter a bear market I'll just yawn a lot again and I'll keep holding.

Cryptocurrency has now been elevated to the very elite trillion club. This means it has already flipped a lot of traditional companies and even national fiat currencies.

And it is still growing. $29 billion has been added to that in the past several hours and Bitcoin is now above $700 billion. Let us all not blink an eye because I can feel it very strongly that $1 trillion for Bitcoin is taking place anytime.

This is a huge wake up slap on the face not just to those who opposed Bitcoin but also to those who are still thinking twice. Hop in now!

I think we were over 1 trillion dollars a long time ago as well, this is not the first time ever. Back in those days bitcoin may not be this much, it was only 20k obviously as we all know, but considering things like ethereum at 1.5k, xrp at 3+ dollars, and many others are all on their ATH prices, that meant that we broke over 1 trillion dollars.

Now we have broken over 1 trillion dollars again, but we didn't broke over it with alts, we did it mainly with bitcoin reaching 37k+ levels, which helped us, if you look at ATH prices of coins, most of them (almost all of them) didn't broke over their ATH prices, which is why we are not really at a big place just yet, we are going to be over 1.5 trillion dollars or so when we reach ATH with alts as well, that would allow us to reach maybe even 2 trillion dollars, because that would be a collective increase and not just one coin.

Nope. This was the first time. The previous high mark from late 2017/early 2018 was $800-something billion. It didn't get close.

No next step is that crypto hit a $1 quadrillion marketcap. Can it do it? Or that is to much wealth? What are you guys think about that?

More seriously though. Bitcoin to $1 trillion probably in Feb or March. Will take a price of $53k and change, or just under 40% gains from current price.
