coinbase app is not working today.
And the login to website is super slow and producing JSON error.
anyone experiencing issues with coinbase website or app?

I'm not sure if you are asking for an app for an account or a Coinbase card. As for the Coinbase card app, it runs smoothly and with no problem. I also have no problems with my Coinbase online account.

They had some connectivity issues around the time you posted this. According from their status page, a fix has been made. I tried logging in thru their website and it all went fine, should probably work on your end too.

Their status page (status.coinbase.com) is also another way to check coinbase's condition aside from their SNS.

As for the status page, the app and the website seem to be operational again. You should check OP the updates below about mobile and website.

They're both green and operational. I'll give you a hint that whenever the market is in this kind of bull run, Coinbase and other exchanges usually experience some outage but they do fix it as soon as possible when they've caught it.

Coinbase is notoriously known for having unannounced maintenance during a bull run. Eventhough they are one of the top exchanges today, still they can't handle the surge in trading activity hence that's what affected your user experience with them. But as others have pointed out, they are back to normal. However, you might experienced the same when the price started to peak again so expect it from Coinbase.

With every bitcoin madness, such problems occur, but most of the time they are resolved within an hour or two. Stay away from using the central platforms at that time and you can only use them to conduct trading and confirm entry and exit zones.
The application is now running normally, so I think the problem has been solved.

I tend to agree with you and I think not only them, but most centralized fiat exchanges are also having the same problem as this.  There's a custodial wallet here in my country (Coins. ph) that almost the same function as Coinbase, they also have horrible services when there is a bull run come.  If you will convert your Bitcoin to fiat it takes an hour before they credited into your account.  Probably this is how they handle users, for them, it's a business.

As shown by the image above, it seems like they had a short maintenance today.  It might be good if you will wait patiently.

They are fully operational now without any issues and since this is a Jan. 7 issue then they have this fix up on that time.

When having some problems on accessing then dont forget to check it out.

Stop using coinbase they are turning out to become mire shitty everyday, they are one of the biggest cryptocurrency exchange but still having issues with traffic increasing which rarely occurs with Binance now a days. If you are a US customer then you have no ither choice than coinbase or else you can start using Binance and Kucoin for better trading experience with no interventions.
