Yes, renewable ATH is forming again at $ 40,180, of course this is amazing but indeed at this time bitcoin can increase sharply but at certain times it can also drop sharply too.
so it seems like a balance of increase and decrease is always happening.
bitcoin will continue to increase even it is not impossible that the end of this month can break $ 50K.

but what the benefits of the upgrade made for me as I am not a wholesaler and a bitcoin holder, obviously not at all, it is a joy for wholesalers. What we expect from the upgrade from bitcoin is that the altcoins will also come up with their newest ATH so that I and maybe many others who hold altcoins can enjoy it.

at least it will excite new projects to continue to grow because altcoins are also receiving the overflow from bitcoin. we are waiting for that ....

Cheers! This is what I've been waiting for. Glad to see the new ATH. Long term holding is worth it, I tell you.
Definitely be a good time to enjoy profits now. Guess everyone has a good back up plan if suddden sideways will occur. Though strong bulls are still playing, let us not forget that bears are also waiting at the corner.

Happy 40k bitcoiners!

It’s a beautiful day to see the price of bitcoin this morning at $39,535. Maybe it’s  going  down if it  reaches  $40K,  but  it’s  going  back  to  $40K
and it’s probably going to keep going up. I’m still wondering approximately the end of this month the price of bitcoin will reach at what price, huh?
It could have been up to $70K or more.

Seem's like every other day we had been seeing BTC ATH change.
Now I am really curious on what would be the highest price for this year and when would this price increase stop or slow down for a long time not just for a couple of days like it is doing now.

At first, everyone thought bitcoin would hit 30k by the end of January. Then everyone started to say that the price of 40k will be at the end of January. Further, they said that 40k would be at the end of this week. Bitcoin hit its record price yesterday. I already like 2021! ;D  Well, now we're waiting for 50k.  8)

Earlier i said and now too i am saying the same.
BTC will not stop, until and unless it touches 50k USD.
Then it will fall and will maintain a balance of 25k USD for the rest of the year.
And yes this is my prediction, and anything can happen.
But i felt like this will be the best scenario to enjoy holding Bitcoins.
Let’s see what happens in the Future.

It will not go down for awhile, as long as the institutional investor and whales are holding their shares of bitcoin. The only way is to go up, 70k is a wishful number but hopefully we can reach that peak.

That's actually great, I was so busy yesterday working I wasn't able to check the price and also wasn't able to visit the forum, last year there were talks about Bitcoin continually going down to rot but ever since the pandemic begun, BTC just keeps on hitting back to back ATHs, and now it hits 40k!? let's see how long this run will go for.

Unfortunately it didn't last for too long on that territory as Bitcoin alongside other top coins made a very short correction.
Base on the movement of Bitcoin in the past days, its most probably that the whales are playing with it.

I've seen it moving above $1000 for short amount of time then hours after going down $1000 and so on and so forth. After all, $40,000 price is reachable with its current movement. Now I can consider that price as its new short term resistance as of now. Lets see what will be the movement of Bitcoin in the next days.

But the main objective now is the 50,000$ in which the hardest part ot the rally , can we just Hit this before this Month ends?

or will take the whole 1st quarter to make it possible ?

How many minutes will Bitcoin see $ 45000?
Minutes ? it's been Hours now but no 45,000$ smiling , so lets look for days or weeks maybe.

Unfortunately, we have some slight correction after reaching $40k, it's currently price at $38k, nevertheless the price is still good and maybe in the next 24 hours we will go up to $40k again and then some. There are threads about the incoming correction, however, with this kind of bull run, we really don't know when it will stop, the price might moon swing a bit to $45k-$50k.

Bitcoin is really legendary in the market and nothing is impossible for him when it comes to making someone's life worth it.

This is the reason why I live, cryptocurrency made me sustain my life, my needs and the things that I want to experience and have in my life.

I'm really happy to see bitcoin community celebrating about bitcoin's success although it is not the best that bitcoin can give to us because there's something more to it that we should wait and see in the near future.

bitcoin is so amazing these days, there hasn't even been an issue to make bitcoin go down, I think it could break through $50k this month if there's no bad news. And expect after February to be followed by another coin hike. Some of the assets caught up in the altcoin require stable bitcoin in order to profit from buying coins.

After bitcoin reach $40k, I am waiting for $$43k-45k because that is my target price to sell ;D
If this time bitcoin price can back to the higher price and can break for $39k-$49k in a short time, then the chance to increase $43k will be bigger, but there will be another correction that will happen. That will be a good time to buy more bitcoin if the price can down deeper.

Bitcoin is the best solution when we think about giving up in life and I know that this asset helped a lot of investors to reach their dreams. I'm not simping bitcoin but I'm just proud of its success and achievements in the market and as an investor who supports bitcoin, I can say that people should also invest on it. It is not that difficult to understand how bitcoin works and how you can make it grow as long as you spend some time doing it. Trading, holding, and investing is really important nowadays that we are in a pandemic. Hoping that bitcoin can reach $45k mark this year 2021.

Congratulations to all of us who have made the bitcoin reached that value this day, $40000 ATH is really huge amount of money, and hoping that it could still go up and can reach about $100k within this year, We see the good movement for the world of crypto because of so many people who are now really interested on it. The value of bitcoin attracts so many people to learn about it and hold it as well. Everything is still unpredictable and bitcoin could still go down so be careful and always observe the market.

Although that I did predicted about Bitcoin crossing $40k by the end of this week, we still need to manage our risk very well. To all of the risk takers out there, I would like to congratulate you all for buying Bitcoin early. As the institutions keep buying Bitcoin, I believe this is still a tip of the iceberg. There are a lot of institutions worldwide, and I bet once they follow, Bitcoin is possibly going towards $100k by the end of 2021.

I expected Bitcoin to hit a price of $ 40,000. Because it seems that after Bitcoin passes the $ 30,000 resistance its increase is very fast. So I do
predict Bitcoin could hit $ 40,000 in the near future when it crosses the $ 30,000 mark. It turned out that my guess was right, this is the best
Bitcoin hiker since 2017. Even though the Bitcoin price is now correcting its price to $ 38,000. I am optimistic that the price of Bitcoin will go up
again and reach a price of $ 50,000 by the end of January 2021.

of course everyone is happy like you are also saying that, we always hope that bitcoin will reach renewable ATH again this year and it is not even possible that this year's ATH will achieve something fantastic will happen. all a lot of predictions have been made and I predict that if the% Halving happens then the $ 100K will be surpassed too, yes we are waiting for that.

The behavior of bitcoin in the past few months has indeed seen that bitcoin is able to go down and rise very sharply and within hours, but there is no need to worry about an upward correction made by bitcoin.

No matter if the price will go to that price this month or next month, it will coming to us soon and I think that could happen. You should have the patience to wait for that, and meanwhile, it is better to prepare yourself for the coming, and if that can happen this month, you can sell your bitcoin and make a big profit. Otherwise, you can wait for more until the price can really hit that price.

Yes, in fact, now you can just look at the rising price of bitcoin and reproach yourself for not being patient and coming out at a low cost, but this year the price below $41,000 will be considered a decline and it continues in a circle. :)

In the past there were still many people who doubted if the price of BTC would reach its ATH, but now the price of BTC has increased very high and has passed its ATH (even has increased almost 100% of its ATH price), but now some people are afraid to invest in Bitcoin because the price of Bitcoin has risen very high (afraid the price of Bitcoin will dump), even though in my opinion currently investing in Bitcoin can still provide profit, because the price can still increase very high (seeing an increase in market cap which continues to increase every day), so this proves if the market is in good condition and of course there is still a possibility for the price of Bitcoin to increase very high and give us a big profit (my prediction the price of Bitcoin could reach $60k or even more).

Besides, I don't institutions are done accumulating, we are just on the beginning of the run we might witness even more $50k so just keep tight and have patience because we are about to hit the moon! I really didn't think that we can easily break the $40k price easily as it is almost double already to the past ATH of bitcoin. I am pretty sure that the long term holders of bitcoin are celebrating right now and are waiting to to sell their assets if in case they are already satisfied to the profit of their investment.

In my side, I also continue to hold my bitcoin asset while waiting to reach my target selling price as I am sure that there will be setback that will happen for sure though I am not so sure if when it will happen as the bitcoin is in hype right now.

As of now that it is $41k, is there any signs that it will increase furthermore?

In any case, I'm still hoping for it to reach an all-time high of $50k in the next weeks or months.

In addition, I'm actually in shock in the rapid growth as there are some speculations that it will go down by somedays in Christmas or newyear.

There is still a reasonable limit to Bitcoin's price growth. Many of us have already set for ourselves the price at which they will sell their bitcoins. It is right. Otherwise, we will only remember that we saw such a high price and did not take advantage of this growth. There will still be waves of price growth behind this wave, and it is better to be able to buy bitcoin and other potential cryptocurrency at a low price. The only question is to correctly feel at least approximately the price peak of the current growth.

It is really possible to happen since the price is continuously rising up. Reaching $50k is near to happening since the price is already at $41k. We should wait for that to happen and keep on believing and buying some tokens. But I recommend to those people who don't know the movement of bitcoin, they can go with altcoins, we are seeing at the market that the price of every altcoin is now rising up. There's a lot of altcoins now that is slowly rising up and following the movement of bitcoin.

an interesting thing to note is that since it started to increase from $ 20,000 to $42,000 the price has not dropped and has not had any correction, it starts to get more frightening because nobody knows when we will see any drop. what can be speculated now that many people do not want to sell, but they must have a reason, and if that reason is achieved, how much will it fall? That's the big question

Quite honestly while the price increase is what everyone is talking about, and with good reason since that is what it impact us directly, at the same time one of the most incredibly things about this rally is that the bitcoin dominance is still so high and it has not gone down at all and it is still very close to 70%, ethereum has gained some dominance but that is because everyone is selling their shitcoins and getting ethereum instead with the hopes of getting some profits.

For those who still hold altcoin and trade in altcoin will be regretted it, like me in this bull run market exactly for previous year until now I always choose altcoin as a trading place. It is just give me a low return than if I trade in bitcoin.

Yeah, as you can see in this situation the market movement just give a good return for bitcoin. If bitcoin soared there is no altcoin which will follow it, just bitcoin that has a good increase, no altcoin. But when bitcoin down, altcoin fall sharply. This thing will distrub our psychology, because when a temporary bull run comes you will feel afraid to buy because bitcoin prices tend to stagnate.

When it comes to price correlation then we can  say that it isnt really correlated from time to time between bitcoin and alts and also you can blame out people not to trade on alts for the believe that those would really be pumped out just like into that 2017 bull run. We cant deny that  the current rally or bullish market we do have didnt really include most alts but rather focusing on the top ones when it comes to gains or
increases..Its good that you do able to make some switch up until this very moment and able to gain since bitcoin market did really give out some good run and even breaking new heights for this year.
40k isnt something that where people do really expect for, we are just hoping for breaking that 20k barrier and now we are here on seeing 200% into its price.

2021 looks like it will be the best year for Bitcoin. But before the Bitcoin price rises even higher, there will definitely be a correction first.
If Bitcoin corrects to a price of $ 35,000 I will plan to buy more Bitcoin.

Bitcoin reached $40,000 on Thursday, doubling the elusive $20,000 all-time high first set in late 2017.
Bitcoin reached $40,000 again this time, so there will be an opportunity for bitcoin to increase more. I am sure people still waiting for bitcoin to break $41,000 and the other high price. I feel that the price will be able to hit the highest price this month, and I think if bitcoin can increase until $45,000-$50,000 this month, that will be the way for bitcoin to attract more investor to join with bitcoin. But the trend still at a downtrend, so we need to be careful.

Everyday bitcoin gives us shocking that the price that is impossible to happen is possible to happen actually the price of 40k dollars is will happen next few years but it's already happen. People are really buying bitcoin now and I think is not possible to reach 50k dollars this month of January so better to hold and buy bitcoin instead of selling of it.

The $20k mark is actually one of the reasons why we are seeing this fast rise these days. Whenever price gets stuck behind a big resistance level the next move is always going to be a big and fast one because of all the money build up behind that level waiting to jump in. And $20k took a long time to be broken so it accumulated a lot of people waiting in line to get in.
Of course there is all the hype of "institutional investors" that is increasing the FOMO buying these days too.

It will not go down for awhile, as long as the institutional investor and whales are holding their shares of bitcoin. The only way is to go up, 70k is a wishful number but hopefully we can reach that peak.
That's an ambitious amount but I think that's also possible, right? And I'm looking forward to seeing the price reach such value. Actually, I'm pretty elated with the current price and I'm just continuing to hold. Who knows, sooner or later it might even reach $45k. Don't wanna put my hopes too high but you know what they say, "Expect for the best but prepare for the worst."

Everyone who invested in 2017 hoping they would never sell at the price range they bought must really be happy with the resistance. It is advisable to hold on more to your assets, the ATH might be recorded at $100k

it appears to be an equilibrium of increment and diminishing is continually occurring.

bitcoin will keep on expanding even it isn't unimaginable that the finish of this current month can break $ 50K.what the advantages of the redesign made for me as I am not a distributer and a bitcoin holder, clearly not in the slightest degree, it is a delight for wholesalers

I am very happy to see bitcoin at this high too. $41k is insane. lets see if it increase more or it'll drop before this craze. bitcoin reached to 19k before as it's all time high and dropped again to $3000. so I am expecting that everything can happen.
I am ready to see anything now.

Seem's like every other day we had been seeing BTC ATH change.
Now I am really curious on what would be the highest price for this year and when would this price increase stop or slow down for a long time not just for a couple of days like it is doing now.
Same here bro. I am also wondering when bitcoin become stabalize again in term of price. it is too volatile right now.

Absolutely agree with you. I'm glad to see BTC reaching new heights every week. I hope it will keep on growing like this but I would definitely invest in BTC even if he felt down to $3k again  ;D

by seeing the price of BTC rising very high over its ATH, then it makes me jealous, because the price of Ethereum hasn't risen as high as the price of BTC, because for now i'm only invest in Ethereum, but at least i'm happy if the price of BTC has risen very high, so this proves to people that investing in cryptocurrency can get a big profit and of course it will make many people start to investing in cryptocurrency, so that in the future this will make the market cap and the price of cryptocurrency will increase higher than now (including the price of Ethereum).

Yeah bitcoin hit another milestone , and it didn't just stop at $40k it went on to reach $42k, there has been alot of speculations around about bitcoin hitting $50k, and I think it might hit $50k before the month ends, this might just be the longest bull run ever, if bitcoin is able to hit $50k the first Q1 of this year then it can pump till $100k by the end of this year.

Looking at the growth of bitcoin in terms of valuation if you think that the rest of the cryptocurrencies will rally then you will end up regretting as there are many evidence in the market and you cannot trust the entire market. The top coins can be trusted and it will give you the profit if you had the opportunity to invest when the price was really low, right now i will not dare to invest in anything and i will sit out waiting for a correction to invest again and in the meantime looking for the right opportunity to book my profit.

Prices stay afloat and new ATH can go crazy again.

You don't have any bigger assets right now to hold and some of the deposits already in BTC can still be generated, hopefully the price will move up to 50k, the pandemic is not glancing here and there which must be consistent with bitcoin at its establishment.

I still don't think that if I bought during the first wave of covid-19, the price of 3.5k bitcoin, try to imagine if there were still people who held it until now, maybe he was a millionaire. ;D

Assuming the Federal Reserve keeps interest rates at zero for a few more years, virtual currencies, especially bitcoin, will continue to gain new fans. JP Morgan has set a bold long-term price target for the Bitcoin. They claim that this popular cryptocurrency could rise to as much as $146,000 because it competes with gold as an "alternative" currency.

It seems like the price we're seeing back in 2017 got doubled and now surely many BTC holders including me are showing rejoice on these times.
Hopefully the same would apply to the world as well as we have pretty rough last year.
50k soon? We'll never know. It might be double, the price bouncing around the room right now actually.

The recent developments in bitcoin market is really awesome! Who would have thought that we will hit 40k this early of the year? We need to be pro-active on what may happen next. So prepare your portfolio and decide what needs to be done with your coins. We are always living in unpredictable times so you should have plans on how to optimize your opportunities.

We could easily assume that the market price of bitcoin is going to increase in the coming years just because of the solid demand in the market and limited supply of it.

Next year, for sure the market price is circulating around 40k$-100k$ or might even be earlier this 2021 just like what we have seemed at the end of 2020 surpassing and achieving a new ATH easily.

If you pay a little more attention you will see that already we had around 10% pullbacks several times, and a bigger one may come later but no one knows when. I don't suspect any big correction before we go to 60K zone. After that when once we get around 60k to 100k I think it could get very volatile.

The bitcoin ATH has been positive for all both Bitcoiners and the crypto market. Those projects that have not been able to develop their product have been left behind.

I look with hope that Bitcoin is such a powerful currency and that it can meet all the odds. The best part is that it is allowing the other coins to show the work for which they were created.

A new Bitcoin ATH is worth celebrating because it is backed by a community that prefers Bitcoin to the moon.

With $40k, Bitcoin has already lifted the total value of the entire cryptocurrency market above $1 trillion for the first time. For its wild volatility,
bitcoin increasingly shows its existence as an investment commodity. The  price  of bitcoin  jumped  sharply,  previously  $35,000  then  broke
through $37,700 and now it’s $40k so bitcoin has already scored the highest price  in history.  Bitcoin’s recent rally differed from the late 2017
bubble in which Bitcoin briefly approached $20,000, then 2018 dipped to $3,122.

Yes everyone who is holding BTC for a very long term must be very excited, they feel like a long wait that ends in profits, and I congratulate you as the bitcoin price hits $ 40k and I hope it continues to increase.
Every bitcoin long term holder would be so happy right now seeing their portfolio grow, I also hope bitcoin keeps increasing next stop is $50k  ;D.
Seems like bitcoin isn't following anyone predictions, it just keeps breaking new highs almost every day, even after reaching the $40k height it still made another new ATH which is $42k, the $50k mark looks achievable right now, and we might get there before month ending.

Bitcoin doesn’t compete with currencies. It competes with “insurance” against paper money

From an investment and ideological standpoint, Bitcoin is actually more like a commodity. More precisely, one of the most expensive and “useless” commodities in the world—gold. Unlike other commodities like oil, gold has limited use. For example, ~3,000 tons of gold were dug up and sold last year. And of that amount, just 35% went into electronics and jewelry. The rest was melted into bars and coins and stowed away. Gold is not a medium of exchange either. You can’t walk into Pizza Hut, drop a sliver of gold on the counter, and get a slice of pizza. At most, you’ll get some strange looks.

So the questions you should be asking yourself are these

Will investors buy Bitcoin as a legit store of value so early on? And will they move a meaningful chunk of their “gold insurance” to Bitcoin? I’m convinced these are the questions that will drive Bitcoin’s price for now.

almost every day the price goes up and showing with a good sign of hope and totally it can be a good harvest for all consumers particularly investors who have made a lot of savings, moreover, it is a good opportunity for those who bought BTC such as where the current price is low which is now, clearly that it will increase much more than $40k, So it's good resistance for this year 2021 if you have a plan for a new business it is also good to sell.
The 2021 year entry is an amazing year for crypto. Because I think that most of us are thinking that drops have to show this year after hitting a new ATH for BTC, but it has to see that goes into a strong market position. And those risk buyers who bought Bitcoin around $20k plus, they are still in a sweet harvest. I couldn't imagine if we all are able to hold until today, it is more than doubling our investment.

in fact we also need to be happy that bitcoin, which usually corrects at the beginning of the year, has done well because it did not follow the rhythm that was carried out when 2018 continued to fall, it continued to fall but stopped at a fairly stable price and soon could bounce back.
this indicates that bitcoin is now in a stable state, and will probably increase after the altcoin starts moving up.
certainly Q1 bitcoin will start moving up again, we are waiting for that.

don't rely too much about these researchers. but good to know about their positive perception towards bitcoin. this year is indeed a good one. first time to hit the mark of 40k and we are just starting the year. there's sudden drop, which, is inevitable by all means, but look at what we are heading now, we are approaching the $40k again. $50k is possible but you need to be alert on what's gonna happen here. up and down movement will always be there. so if you want to take advantage of the market, scalping may be of your advantage here

According to researcher, this is just the beginning for the price of bitcoin, by next two month the price of bitcoin will hit $50k to show, this year will be good for all bitcoin families all over the world.

don't rely too much about these researchers. but good to know about their positive perception towards bitcoin. this year is indeed a good one. first time to hit the mark of 40k and we are just starting the year. there's sudden drop, which, is inevitable by all means, but look at what we are heading now, we are approaching the $40k again. $50k is possible but you need to be alert on what's gonna happen here. up and down movement will always be there. so if you want to take advantage of the market, scalping may be of your advantage here

You need to keep your guard up and not just to rely with those research, your own understanding will keep you in shape as Bitcoin is really providing the benfitis for those who are actively investing to this asset.

There's always chances to break this $40k and pump more to break or to reach $50K we are still in the first month of the year and once this upward movements gain more support, it simply go more higher.

Keep your eyes open and sets your target, not too greedy but wise enough to cut your way to a profitable investment.

Friday PM - $50k
Saturday - Celebrate
Sunday - Celebrate
Monday AM $60k

Very funny. If that was the situation in the Bitcoin market, Bitcoin value would have been around 1 million dollars.  You should try to understand the bitcoin market before speculating about the market value of Bitcoin. You might lose money if you keep having such assumptions in mind. Following speculations made by people will make you bleed heavily..

The better action on this is to rely on your ownself, to have experience and understand the mechanics very well. Maybe those researchers you are talking about is just novice in trading, your moneu will be on the risk.

Lol, sometimes bitcoin takes a break as well, and that is what we've seen in the last 7 days or so. Took a breather around $33k and then move forward to $40k again. So there's no $50k or $60k celebration at least. We need to wait till the end of the month and see how it goes.

And I would say that let the market takes it normal course, we don't need some artificial price action. Don't you worry, we might going to celebrate later, so hold on.

I am an investor with more than 7 years of experience in Bitcoin (having made my first investment in 2014). What I would say is that the temporary dips that you see nowadays are quite different from what we had during the earlier days. Now even if the exchange rates dip by 20% or 25%, they recover back to the previous levels in a few days. A few years back, that was not the case. The prices would remain suppressed for many months. This is the reason why I believe that there is a huge gap between demand and supply out there in the market.

The price of Bitcoin was a hit of 40k thousand dollars. But last week, the price of Bitcoin fell again. The current price of Bitcoin is  38058$. I think Bitcoin will break the previous record and set a new record again and that will be within this week. The price of Bitcoin will go from 40k to 45k thousand dollars in a few days. If the price of Bitcoin hits 45000 dollars, then it is very good for all holders and investors.

Of course, a lot has change then, even bitcoin's narrative has shifted as well, and again, it could still be a speculative asset, and now its becoming a leverage for big companies to hedge as reserve assets. That's why it can quickly bounce back from temporary dips unlike a few years ago, when that happen, investors are afraid to go in and think bitcoin is dead.

Yeah.. I checked the article about eToro. A number of local exchanges are facing liquidity issues. Even here in India, the markup for purchasing Bitcoin through various P2P platforms have risen from 2% to more than 20% ever since the current rally started. Larger exchanges are still maintaining the liquidity. But in the smaller exchanges, there is a huge gap between demand and supply.

Currently, it seems that bitcoin is having a hard time breaking the $40k mark. It seems to create a triangle formation that would last for more than a few days before it could show another movement. But I hope that it shoots up to the moon again and try to hit the $50k mark before the end of this month.

Correct, for someone that is just curious about what the future of bitcoin could look like then seeing the predictions of others is completely fine, however for someone that is planning to actually take financial decisions depending on how the price of bitcoin moves in the future relying on the advice of someone else is always a losing move, it is way better to learn how to trade and read the markets by yourself and then try to predict what the market will do on your own.

Bitcoin is a store of value.  Think of it like a retirement account. There will be up days and down days.  Up weeks and down weeks.  It has been holding above $35k for a few days now.  It's fluid and scarce.  Over time, it WILL be worth more time.  Fiat will be worth less.  Choose wisely. ;)

The M1 money supply for the United States Dollar has almost doubled in just 12 months. This will have a huge impact on inflation in the coming years. Assets which are protected against inflation, such as gold and Bitcoin are expected to rally. And even more worrying is the fact that the stimulus measures are expected to continue for at least one more year. This will further devalue the US Dollar.

There is simply no way around this, governments are trying to justify their policies using modern monetary theory, but that theory is nothing but a bunch of wishes, it took us a long time and a lot of suffering but we understand now very well how an economy works and printing an unlimited amount of money forever is simply not sustainable and inflation sooner or later is going to raise if they keep printing money, but unfortunately for them they are going to be trapped in a cycle from which they cannot get out and the only way forward will be to print even more money and that is when assets like gold and bitcoin will really shine.

Gold prices are not rising only because a lot of people are selling their gold holdings (especially in countries such as India). The COVID 19 pandemic has left a lot of people in difficult financial situation, and many of them are forced to sell their gold coins and jewelry. However, this hasn't caused a crash in the gold prices, because the demand is equally strong. In fact I would even say that gold would be witnessing a rally similar to what we have with Bitcoin, if the pandemic was not there.

The price value of Bitcoin has been going up faster within a shorter period of time. It took years for bitcoin to go from $1 to $20,000 and it took days for it to reach $40,000 which is alarming. Judging from this trend in no time 1 bitcoin would be worth $50,000 within this year. Lets just wait and see after this latest price correction.

You are right.  I totally agree with you. Bitcoin will touch 50 thousand dollars this year.  I bought some bitcoins on the advice of one of my older brothers.  At that time the price of bitcoin was 18 thousand dollars. When the price of bitcoin crossed 40 thousand then I sold my little bitcoins.  And from that I made some money.  Which is a lot for me.  Good luck to those who have hold Bitcoin.

We are basically watching something similar in bitcoin, when there is a crisis people sell their valuable assets in order to survive and who gets those assets? The people that have a lot of money and that understand that they need to position themselves early in order to see massive profits, institutional investors did not came to this market because they believe in the ideals of satoshi, they came because they see in bitcoin an incredible investment opportunity and they think bitcoin will do great when the next economic crisis caused by fiat currencies happens.

Bitcoin had always been destine to hit $40k but it was just the matter of time for that to happen and it finally happened. The next ATH for Bitcoin to attain is hitting $100k. This is destine to happen very soon looking at how Bitcoin moved from $10k to $40k.  $100k is very likely to happen in the early but of 2022 or when 2022 is ending.  Saving my Bitcoins for that day.
We only expect that bitcoin will only surpass its $20K price in 2020, but surprisingly bitcoin exceeds $25K until it reaches $40K+ price. So there is a possibility that bitcoin will surpass its ATH again and reach up to $100K this year or next year of 2022 if the mass adoption continues. Saving and holding our bitcoins until that comes will be worth it.

From the looks of it it won't really be happening this month with what the current bitcoin values was of now.  We can hope the it reach to 40k by the end of February and 50k by the end of March or April if nothing significant would happen in this succeeding months.

By the next week or next month. I couldn't say exactly what happens to the bitcoin price, but I assume that bitcoin price will never fall down touch as much as a heavy correction as expected right after the new ATH is hit. They believe that this will happen like the last bull run in 2017, the correction was too much and almost hit the ground after having a huge price increase, but for now, it didn't happen.

Bitcoin is likely yo grow $40k, but we can't tell when it is. And let's wait and see what's going to happen. I am very positive that the price will keep growing for me

precisely for me, let bitcoin remain stable at current prices like this only moving in the range of $ 31K- $ 35K only, to provide an opportunity for altcoins to clean up and improve themselves to soon reach their ATH.
because at this time we cannot deny that the need to increase altcoins is more priority so that the bounty can be excited. because last year the bounty did not receive a reward from increasing bitcoin.

There is still plenty of time for bitcoin to move again and we will be sure of that, very confident that maybe $ 50K is not a hard thing to get bitcoin this year but we cannot yet conclude in what month the renewable ATH will be made bitcoin, we wait patiently.

Bitcoin had consistently been ordaining to hit $40k yet it was simply an issue of time for that to occur and it at long last occurred. The following ATH for Bitcoin to achieve is hitting $100k. This is bound to happen exceptionally before long taking a gander at how Bitcoin moved from $10k to $40k. $100k is probably going to occur in the early however of 2022 or when 2022 is finishing. We need to consider seriously about a possible market correction. The initial statements from Janet Yellen (Biden's nominee for United States Secretary of the Treasury) indicates that the current administration is going to be much more hostile to the cryptocurrencies when compared to the previous one. And this may have a negative impact on the investment from institutions. I won't be surprised if the prices go back to the levels we had before PayPal adoption.

It is really hard for bitcoin to reach this kind of amount in this situation so far bitcoin are dumping and many investors are not that happy if they not sell those coin and waiting for some miracle for those who will buy bitcoin soon also if there's any reason for bitcoin to be pump in that price maybe in the next christmas where people have some reason to do some investment and looking forward to them to make a good profit before the year ends because they think that this kind of method brings luck that you will losing some money.

Holding your coins is probably going to be the best thing that you can do right now, I do not know how long it will take for bitcoin to reach 100k but the one thing I know is that sooner or later it will happen, even if the bull market came to end at worst I expect the price to go back to the 20k level which means that bitcoin will only need to grow 150% from its ATH in order to reach that price and while that is a massive growth it will be considerably easy if more institutional investors keep coming to the market.

Wow BTC 40,404 all time high.I hope btc touch 43,000

Is there an reason you wanted it to get to $43,000 after it touched 40,404? It is now clear that bitcoin has refused to climb higher than that and it will look like alot of investors are getting afraid buying more. May be they think it is overbought right now. It is clear also that alot of this people are causing the crash because they are selling now in panic and causing price to go down more.

Probably $43k at that time is the next big resistance that's why he is looking for it.

And obviously, we didn't hit it, so it didn't go as high as $50k because that is the next stop. And then we have a lot of ups and downs after reaching the current top of $41k. Three weeks of trading sideways, multiple FUD's surfaces, then in the last 24 hours, a simply tweet from Elon Musk spark bitcoin to reach as high as $38k. Now we settle at $35k.

So not $40k this January. But hey, lets look at the bright side, at least we have seen the price having a break out run, although short live but we still have February to see where the price is going. And maybe $40k will be in the horizon again.

We never expect that bitcoin hits a new ATH, it was amazing, lucky those who hold bitcoin for a long time. I don't think this is over for bitcoin after reaching the ATH, I have a feeling that possible we can see another new ATH in this year because Elon Musk tweeted about bitcoin then the price pumped so therefore more big names will get interested into bitcoin I guess.

There will be an impact on the exchange rates in case Elon Musk decides to invest in Bitcoin. But I don't think that there will be much impact from a single tweet. BTW, I am not feeling very optimistic, ever since Janet Yellen was elected as the treasury secretary of the United States. Having someone who is openly hostile to cryptocurrency in that position will have negative consequences.

No, 100k is daydreaming. It won't pretty much happen. I would expect more of 50-60k but never 100k. I don't want to get my hopes up to 100k but if that happens and I sold at 60, then I would have no regrets as this was part of my plan after all. No time for self-doubt.

BTW, it reach 38k again this week for 1-2 hrs and goes back to 33k. So I think, this would be the scenario for this weeks to come.

Happy to see a new ATH of BTCBTCBTC
The dominance is such a beauty to be-hold  :P
We all in bullish market and many coins already created a new ATH, not only Bitcoin but trust me that the real ATH has not come yet. Bitcoin has big potential growth this year and we all will see the ATH which we never meet before. And this is ATH will make shock because  unpredicted by people

That's right mate!, Bitcoin reached new ath at $ 42k, of course this is a very fantastic increase,
and I am sure this resistance will again cross, and reach new ath again, reportedly $ 100k will happen this year, if in logic,
then whales will collect a lot of bitcoin, by trading in altcoins, and making Altcoins reach new ath new,
yup Ethereum, Link, and Doge reach new ATH don't miss this opportunity.

After this year new ATH, there's no surprise anymore as Bitcoin keeps doing it and people around this market are always optimistic those who are really supporting this chain.

The system is already been notice and use by institutional investors and businesses, with them around. We do expect more and more adoptions and increase in value with more possible holders is no longer far.
Just need to keep working with your knowledge and understand all the potential risk, once you overcome everything
you'll be able to decide the right track and your investment will bring you more benefits.

If bitcoin adoption increases and investor continue to be interested in buying bitcoin, the price will soon reach 50K. There is a chance that 50K will be hit within this year as we have seen that institutional investor are very interested in bitcoin's potential future. Currently bitcoin is trading at over 32K, there's a lot of support here. Regardless, consider all the risks as these are far more important than uncertain profit.

That break out run is quite important for one reason, it shows that we can do it. In the crypto world it is really not that hard to go up or down, sometimes people decide that it should go up and collectively we buy so much that price goes up like crazy, we have reached from 10k to 40k in like 4 months or so, that is a record breaking pace for having 4x return, rarely you can see something like that in any investment ever so it showed how easy it was, we have also seen a lot of days when it can go down as well, more than 20% and it was easy.

That means there are prices we can go to very easily and there are prices we may have hard time, it showed us that 38k is nothing at all and it would require one rally and we will be there. Now that we are around the 35k marks it is easier for us to just take a look at the situation and go all in together so we can increase it 40k+ prices.

Luck had nothing to do with it, the people that kept holding their bitcoin even after the crash of 2017 were the ones that were completely convinced about the potential of bitcoin as a form of money, this was not something easy to do at the time after the crash of 85% that we suffered, now it is very easy to say for those that are just starting to invest in bitcoin how easy it was for us to keep our coins when in truth it has been one of the most difficult things we ever had to do in our lives.

This has been a great starting quarter because even after a month has passed from its new ATH, the price of bitcoin looks still strong and looks like it will hit another ATH in the near future. If that happens then it is clear, bitcoin has grown very well because support continues to come and if you look at the bull run in the past or four years ago, at least after a month has passed the price collapsed. But now we can see that it is completely different, or it is a sign that higher bulls are really going to happen.

To be honest, I'm bit surprised about this unwanted move. Seems like nothing is going to our plan, I think Bitcoin will hits a new ATH. Bitcoin had hit all time high which was ~42k, here we once again over $40k and very possible we're going to see BTC hitting a new ATH by end of this weekend or before.

With the way BTC price is rising, 100k might be the minimum this year. Institution money is really coming in big time.

100k is just a dream ? Well , just have a look of that dream coming alive mate because the bull run just began , we are still in the early phase of it so 100k can be easily achieved this year if this continues to go like this. As long as you exist in big profit , you should be pleased with your efforts but make sure when you sell it that you will have an opportunity to buy it again lower than you sold it.

40k again, but still a small distance to go for a new ATH, which probably on the momentum of everything else will happen within the weekend. I wonder if people will hope for a 10% hike from there to go to 45k after that. This time this is carried on from ETH momentum I believe. Guess we're all dreaming now again.

This rise in the price of Bitcoin does not surprise me, what surprises me is that the movement is so fast, I expected at least that in 2 more months it would occur, it seems that more institutional investment is entering, the volume is showing a very good bullish sign.

Yes, 40K again! :D Tether has turned the printing press back on... Recently 500M of new USDT entered the market... And I think that's a start! ;) Hopefully the last price pullback was just a correction!

*Bitcoin is back at $ 40k, surprised by this news...
once again Bitcoin disappointed the panicked traders, Many think that when the Bitcoin price hit $ 40k in January it will continue to fall. the estimate missed, the Bitcoin price returned to $ 40k again.

Wow, this is indeed crazy.  The only thing I'm wondering is, who's doing the buying right now to drive the price up so far--in particular, I'm wondering if there's more institutional money flowing into bitcoin (like MicroStrategy) as opposed to small retail investors.  Either way, bitcoin's getting closer to that much-awaited milestone, $50k.

No way in hell would I have thought it'd be possible to even hit $20k this year, seeing as how the economy took an enormous hit last year, but here we are.  I can't tell if this is a bubble or what's going to happen, but it sure is interesting to track.

I remember people saying that about $100 when we were stuck in the $5-$15 range.

All indications are pointing to $100,000-$280,000 this year. Don’t be surprised when it happens because it is just as likely as not that it will.

Yes, no one can tell what's going to happen for sure. This doesn't look anything like 2017 so who knows where we're going to end up.
Although I'm typically not inclined to speculation, but as the days go by, $100k seems more and more likely.

There's nothing to do right now... but wait to see.

I wouldn't say never, I get it, it's a very optimistic and an unlikely goal, $50.000 is way more realistic. Thinking back on how the price climbed so quickly, it won't take long to happen.

However, $100.000 might sound crazy, but there's a chance it might happen in the distant future. Certainly not within 2021, not even 2022 and so on.

Well, we don't know, the growth may slow down a bit but it is possible that a six digit price can be surpass this year.

if this week Bitcoin stays above $ 40k, I'm sure the journey will continue again, next is $ 50k,
everyone is already talking about $ 50k coming next week !,hold Bitcoin until the target is reached or you will see this increase without having it,
indeed Bitcoin dominance is likely to fall and this increase may be the last increase in this bullish season.

The elon musk high was capped by being in the vicinity of a prior high but this time its clear until the ATH is reached and then we challenge that area on a daily basis with lower volume since that first occured I think we do retrace a few times in order to properly exceed this point on a stronger basis then now.

Sadly, it didn't hold that $40,000 levels, slowly dissipated in the last 4 hours or so.

But there's nothing to worry about, just the normal movement, at least we are now seeing a super fast rally because it can go on the overbought zone again and investors liquidating.

We will have to wait, next two days if we break $40,000 and surpasses it then $45,000-$50,000 will just be near then.

$150k looks great but since we are still in the early month of the year, everything is uncertain, I don't see Bitcoin going down the $25k anymore, we have so many institutions and big names here already, investors will protect the price from these FUDS, we will only see clearly what could be the price before the end of the year, on the third quarter.

We are currently seeing it, we are witnessing how the price keeps increasing so no doubt that we can go close to your next target. After passing $50K level it seems that there's no stopping Bitcoin continue to rise, with that, more interest are flowing more institutional investors are coming inside working with their own opportunities.

Alots of change happened, there are people who have negative impressions at first are now beginning to realize the potential of this investment venue.

Realizing that we are still in the early quarter of this year, without any major crash chances to double this current value is still achievable before this year will end. If you have good spare money, and you are willing to take the long way, this investment might bring much better compensation just need to trust your guts.
