From the coinmarketcap, we could see lot of coins and tokens listed on daily basis. Some have potential to give investors good returns while some are just shitcoins that drain one hard earn money. This year is anticipated to be a bullish year for crypto, what is the best crypto you will stockpile outside Bitcoin.  before the closed of the first half of the year.

Base on your question the best way to make some good choice while making advancement towards new coins in the coinmarketcap is for you doing the best you can in analyzing the projects before make investment, becasue there are tons of new scam projects on daily basis be launch.  When i was growing up in this crypto-sphere i loss to new projects during the ICOs but later made my best choice for Bitcoin and Ethereum, this has done me more good than making investment with high risk on new projects on coinmarketcap.

I choose ethereum for the second investment value in the cryptocurrency. I am hard to find the third name because bitcoin and ethereum are enough for me to be my investment in the short or long term. But in the crypto, we have so many altcoins which can be the next potential investment, but as I say, it is hard to find the next coins. You can say the name of the coin from the coinmarketcap, but still, the price can not compare to bitcoin or ethereum. There is a DeFi project which has the closest price of bitcoin, but still, bitcoin will be the number one of the investment, and ethereum is the next coin for the investment.

By just looking at the price there's no doubt that it is Bitcoin the market cap on https://coinmarketcap.com/ is about $765,300,452,606 at the moment. I think you should create a poll like "which coin have you invested" you will see on poll how many users invested on a certain cryptocurrency.

No coin can have investment value when it gets launched, it only have the value which price the team sold at presale but the actual value comes with demand and supply so even a project with good idea may not be having expected value while a clone one is doing more price than expected.

litecoin, Stellar (XLM), Cardano (ADA) is altcoins that have the potential to pump (if there is an altcoins season), because the current price are still bellow the all-time high, possibly up to 2-3x
from currentt price.
just look on the current market, most popular coins such as bitcoin, ethereum, BNB have broken their all-time highs on the beginning of this month, and this will most likely happen to the coins I mentioned above.

I think there are many good quality projects that are worth investing, just have to analyse the market and filter out your favorite projects. My only suggestion will be to invest in top coins only for now and you can select from the top 20 coins easily that will go parabolic soon.

Not some, like literally almost all of them are shit coins. Only few of those listed coins are actually worth something and has real use cases. Again, you will see other coins that are clone of the current coins having nothing new to offer. I consider those coins as a scam coins. Don't even bother looking at the market capitalization. Some shitcoins have good value, only to make an exit scam soon.
Don't go looking for coins that has "investment value". Look for coins that have potential and invest in those. You will make profit.

There are many valuable cryptos, but there are also numerous shitcoins even listed in CMC. We can see how the altcoins especially have a very down price at that moment. And we must be careful and wise when going to invest in certain coins, ever follow hype at that moment.

You are right, but when BTC is sideway and the era of bullish time for BTC is over, Ethereum will be the first altcoin for Bullrun altcoin season. I think that besides BTC, investing in Ethereum is a great choice.

If you ask which coin has the greatest potential then probably DOGE because it's cheap and is obviously following BTC in this bull market.

When it comes to big players I think that eventually scam coins like BSV and centralzied shitcoins like XRP will die and some of their marketcap will go to BTC, ETH and other coins with utility. Hard to say which ones but ETH has a lot of space to grow.

It's also possible that some DEFI coins will boom simply because many people don't know if they are or aren't going to be popular so they could buy some just in case.

You should try to take a look at top 100 coins but there are a few coins that have not yet pumped by the whales. It looks like the pump was happening from one to the another coin.
The whale will be moving toward the new coin to pump it after they have done with the pump with the old coins.

Definitely ETH, its performance has already proven to be always good from year to year except the bearish market we experienced in the past which ofcourse affect majority of coins aswell so can't blame that on ETH but the fact that many investment company stockpiling eth after btc is enough for me to just follow the train and see it get pumped in the future.

I mean, it's kinda hard not to stockpile it seeing it's now already up 100% from months before though I will wait until the price got some correction.

Ethereum and I know that most of the people here hate this but I want to invest some of my funds in Ripple.

Most of my portfolio composed of Bitcoin and Ethereum and I will just continue to accumulate. Weeks ago, I decided to add some investment funds and tried to invest into Ripple and I'm ready for the worst if it happens but fortunately it didn't happen but choose to bounce back after reaching its possible support (around $0.17). Bought it at $0.21 and currently in profit :D.

Just focus on the top coins for now as all of them will give profit to the holders anyway. Don't risk  your money into some low market cap coins and considered shitcoins out there.

For me the best investment right now is EGLD.(Elrond)

You are right about some altcoins having the potential to give investors good returns, but you should know that, most of these altcoins only gives return for short term and not for long term, that is, once they get listed and you see a good price just go ahead and sell because a lot of them, after listing and having few pumps will hardly pump again and some might even become abandoned projects.
Nevertheless, to be frank, the best coin that will give the best investment value would be Bitcoin, but since it is out of the question, then I think ETH, BNB, ADA, LTC, XLM and DOT would fit in perfectly, because these coins have good teams, good use cases and what it takes to grow well this year; since this bull run, they have been showing their powers gradually.

I think we should buy Bitcoin first. Institutional investments in Bitcoin continue and I think it will continue until 70000 dollars. At the same time i can recommend Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash and Waves.

if I personally would of course to invest in Ethereum, because in my opinion Ethereum is still the best choice for investment, even though now the price of Ethereum has increased very high (almost reaching its ATH price), but in my opinion Ethereum is still worthy of being an investment for now, because I believe the price of Ethereum will definitely continue to increase, especially if there is a bull run in 2021, then of course the price of Ethereum will increase very high and give me a very big profit from investing in Ethereum (my prediction this year the price of Ethereum will create a new ATH price).

I think ethereum could be the best one after bitcoin this year. but it is really hard to give a 100% sure prediction about any altcoin or token. I am also expecting good returns and high price of ripple this year. whatever happened with ripple in past days all the US law suits and legal actions agains ripple dropped it price. so I think it's a good chance to buy good amount of ripple and get a good profit when it reaches back to $0.5 or $0.6 again this year. which is really possible.

I have a bad experience joining new alts to invest with that is why I just went back to the old habit.
I think I was also dragged by the hype in 2017 with alts soaring in value and I got used to it until just recently I was brought back to reality.
Now, I gained a lot of my profit from my Ethereum investment which was just bought at $260. I could really sell now if I want to.

To start, most people are using coingecko now, not coinmarketcap. Coinmarketcap mostly tracks projects listed on large centralized exchanges. In order for projects to list on these larger exchanges they have to raise funds from the public in the form of an ICO, IEO, IDO etc. Investing in projects that raise funds from the projects is very risky and you are likely to run into scams. Coingecko new listings is much better for tracking projects to invest in, that's how I found UNCX, FARM and 0xMR.

I only invest on ethereum and bitcoin now. I invest only on coin that I feel confident.There are new coin or tokens but as my experience investing on it is just lost of money. Sometimes I trust my instinct. So I invest only on these two stable coin. The price may go up and down but no matter what, it is valuable holding it.

I can second Litecoin with a huge vote. It is old school, has among the oldest Bitcoin users/holders also holding and slowly buying up. And without saying much,,, it has been fundamentally building up just like Bitcoin (tech + users + volume).

Yeah, Litecoin, cardano and monero are very good choices. besides offering good technology, the three of them also have a more affordable price level. and I also believe that in terms of speed here Litecoin is the fastest

Agree that other altcoins have a high risk of buying. now we better find it safe by buying altcoins that already have the trust and are also large in terms of the market. this is a concern because so many altcoins are scam. we won't even be able to sell it in the future due to no development

this is the most important part of them all , not btc or eth but investing on the coins on where you think you feel confident and that can be any coin that you like and yes it can be sh!tcoins too  .

 you can make money out of sh!tcoins , remember that defi token last time that pumped more than the value of btc ? if you only knew how to enter and exit why not ? that defi token has the most investment value outside the bitcoin

Just like the old times aside from Bitcoin, Ethereum was the next coin that I would rather invest with. Knowing that eth has been here a long time yet it managed to get the 2nd spot in the whole market. Now that the ETH 2.0 is getting closer I think this will be more interesting. I could also invest a little few amounts in BNB, Chainlink, Cardano, and more but mostly it would be on Eth and Bitcoin. I just can't try to risk to new coins, they could be more profitable but it also puts a lot of risk exposure.

Bitcoin is clearly one of the best investments that can be made within the field of Cryptocurrencies because of its high yield. Another Cryptocurrency that really is notable is Ethereum because of its new applications and further developments that is currently being made. It also hit another ATH along with Bitcoin and if you want to have a safe investment, you should really just invest on this big names. Another Crypo is Ripple and Binance Coin which is making a name for themselves.

ETH if we will be talking about altcoins. There is no other altcoins except ethereum has high yield for now following bitcoin. However, I think before the bitcoin bull run there are news about other altcoins with low supply that has been easily pump up by the investors letting small time investors earn more. YFI was the name of the coin. Well, good for those who were able to participate in that coin. Pretty sure it is one of the high yield altcoins havin a price of more than 30K$ per YFI.

I preferred to invest more in Ethereum secondary to Bitcoin as It was the most trusted crypto in talking of Altcoins investment. Just waiting for the Eth 2.O to be release this year and once they will successful of launching by managing well the Ethereum Blockchain then I believe that it will attract more people to invest and more ICOs will use the Ethereum platform once again.
