2020/2021 a year of rocket for crypto world. But not so convincing as the second largest blackchain (etheruem's gas fee) is making it impossible to justify your explanation to newbies.

A clear situation where a newbies buys an altcoin, tending to sent to his private wallet and his meant to pay 50% fee for the transaction.

I just wished for eth2 comes as quickly as possibly to set us free from this gas fee assassination.

for that I suggest you lock this thread, and switch the discussion there, besides that you can listen to it from start to finish so you know the problems we are currently facing are related to Ethereum' GAS which has not been realized by Ethereum Dev.
however the high cost of GAS will cause setbacks for Ehereum based hard wallet holders.
especially for small traders who want to send Ethereum to exchanges. and discontinued because of the high cost of GAS.

I didn't know that until now the price of the transaction fee of the Ethereum is still high, I haven't touch my Ethereum since last year and didn't do any transaction with it. It's really troublesome for some newbie investor of the Ethereum when they know how high this fee is.

91 -100 gwei it's not a big gas charge. Blockchain is not loaded. Hence, it follows that the price is not influenced by defi projects, but by institutional investors who buy Ethereum.
It is possible to pay $ 10 for 1 transaction, this is expensive, but considering the price of 1 coin at $ 1200, this is normal.

Yes, due to high transaction fee ethereum has only two main use cases for me and they are invest and hold or secondly stake them and believe me both these are very good choices as in few more weeks the price can blast and im sure ethereum will catch up soon with btc bulls.

I see a lot of Ethereum enemy people in the forum. Everyone has an expectation of 2.0, but I think Ethereum has a sufficient capacity as it is. I think let's not believe these speculations and support Ethereum  >:(

It is ongoing and said to be taking time before it's been fully adopted. Are the fees really that going up to 50%? Isn't that too much and just an exaggerated statement? Although it's real that the fees were quite high because of the demand and traffic in ETHs traffic due to everyone getting interested in the ETH 2.0 staking. I just find it too much to say that fees are taking up to 50% and I say that because I haven't done such transactions with that fee or if I encounter it, I wouldn't continue.

The crypto market is manipulative and it's the investors and gamblers that are playing with the prices rather than people genuinely interested on the use and technology. The price does not reflect the importance of Ethereum but it's a strategic pump and dump on a larger scale where the initial investors would profit while the ones that buys around the bubble burst would suffer.

The fees maybe high because of the increase in price. Price increase can lead to that, it means much activities are going on in the blockchain at a time and you understand that will lead to fluctuations , miners and all too.

I just hope Ethereum is not going to shoot itself on the foot with this gas price issue, if I want to transact and am priced for 1/10th of the transaction I want to make, I don't think Ethereum developers expect the demand to be this big or they just don't know how to scale the network, my hope this year is that we have another trusted blockchain in the space that can give a lasting solutions to this transaction issues

It costs up to 17$ to send ERC20 tokens to another wallet, this is insane I believe, the problem isn't about Ethereum itself, sending Ethereum from a wallet to another is still fair but not the token part, it costs too much to send tokens, this makes Ethereum less favorite this days

Unfortunately eth 2.0 isn't coming any time sooner, it will take a year or two to get to that stage, honestly vitalik buterin fucked things up this time around, because of high gas fee I can decide to stop using Ethereum and move to Tron instead, the high gas fee is making this more worse

Gas fees will be constantly changing in ethereum network so don't consider the high fee will remain the same. For now the network is clear so you can pay less or just wait for the network to be completely clear if you don't want to spend huge money on your transaction cost. Well this is not the only issue with ethereum its just common at the time of bullish trend.

Ethereum high gas fee is ruining all the fun presently, I already switched to Tron for cheap transaction fee cos I can't coop with Ethereum transaction fee presently, way too high and out of my league, we all thought that buterin will fix the high gas issue but instead we have to wait for a year or two
