I know that we have a lot of creative souls here at the forum and I am expecting nothing but awesome artwork will come through and hopefully we'll be able to raise some funds from it to help people in need. Thank you Royse for initiating this!

And thank you for the idea in the first place. I was running out of ideas to promote it since we wiped out all funds in the last donation (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5246208.msg56008425#msg56008425).

The raffle is still active. Still 9 spots left out of 16. Harkorede alone took 6 spots and Bttzed03 took one. In this high bitcoin season the entry price seems too high now LOL, however here is the link : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5256901.0

In case anyone wants to take a spot they are welcome.

PS: Thanks Jayce for awesome design.

I have just submitted an artwork which I created to celebrate BTC's 10th anniversary
back in 2018. I didnt sell it so I though it would be a good idea to list it on the COVID-19 thread.

I created it with Acrylic paint on a cradled hardboard frame.

This is a great idea Royse777. Not only helping those who get affected by covid, but also it would be a place where all artists on the forum could show their skills. Just saw two designs have been submitted, good luck guys!

Good to see the designs so far. I have decided to award some merits too on the submissions. I would encourage other merit source too to be generous with their smerits in the submissions. Usually I send 5 merits but in the submissions I will award not more than 2 and only to the works those I think had enough work done.

Finally, a contest that I could take part in [I felt left out for not being able to join any of Hhampuz's recent contests due to my location (no hard feelings)] :)

I know this art contest is for a good cause but should we also base our designs around Covid-19 or we're allowed to go with various subjects as our art?
- Any limits in regards to the number of submissions?

Update:
Good question. Since this is "Project COVID-19 Art Contest" maybe we can use the theme of how Project COVID-19 is supporting the community, it's impact, how we are fighting against COVID-19 and ultimately feature Bitcoin - these sorts of things.
Thank you for the response :)

Conversation moved from the contest topic (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5307928.0).

Thanks for this initiative, Royse and project team. Afraid I haven't been keeping up much with goings-on for a long time, but I'll be submitting at least one art piece (digital) in support of this contest... talking to an artist and seeing what will come.

It will be from the artist, so whatever it's actually sold for will go to the artist, but I will personally match 50% of the total amount paid to the artist to this Project. Is that acceptable?=)

There are no such rule that you can not. Go ahead please.

Cheers,

I also have some artwork (not digital) that I would like to post to contribute. However, it isn't possible for me to ship it. Is there any way to contribute still? I would love to help for this cause, a few of my friends and family have been taken by this virus and I would like to contribute however I can.

As said on that contest thread;

"Once your work will be selected, you will need to provide us the copyright.Any posting and packaging will be carried out by us or the action winner,
we will decide it later. If your work is digital then you will need to provide the vector file."

Hope this one clarifies out.

Hi Royse777, I want to know how many submissions are allowed (per account) to participate in this art contest.
I see some members posted some artworks at once.
Not sure if I miss something on this.

You can submit as many as you want. Our goal is to pick the art work of the artist and an artist can have many artworks. Hope this answers your questions.

Hello,in case of victory, in what way do I need to provide copyrights to a painting? should I show the process of how I paint a picture? or draw up documents for a painting with a lawyer?

Good question. I do not have much idea but if you can take a pucture with your username and the current date and mention Project COVID-19 Art Contest in a paper. Maybe this will do.

PS: The deadline is tomorrow. Please submit your works before the deadline.

Cheers,

Hi! Please excuse me for asking this since I can't find any similar question by other members or am I missing something?

Are we allowed to submit an artwork that was previously posted during the bitcointalk 10th anniversary art contest? I am thinking to submit my acrylic painting here.

I think if the artwork was not sold to anyone else and if this is your original work then there should be no problem.
