Creating websites with similar name to the original and then distributing it to social media like Twitter and Youtube. It is even advisable to never use app stores for app download because fake apps that resemble or mimic the app to download can be on the app store and be the one to be downloaded mistakenly. This is not surprising anymore, but it is still worth mentioning this here immediately such are detected so it can be reported by many people in order for the app to be taken down. Anyone making use of app store like google playstore can make the mistake of downloading fake apps.

That's why it's advisable not to go directly to play store and search the name of the app to be downloaded, it's a risky activity. A simple searching of the website, follow up by clicking on the app link found on the website which will redirectly lands you on play store for download, that's the best way to avoid fake app, looking at the rates and good and impressive comments by different users won't help because that is manipulative also and been paid for.
