there has been dozens of altcoin exchanges where you could always buy these shitcoins from, there is no need for some centralized third party to give you these shitcoins that are going to lose their value over time.

there is only bitcoin that is worth buying and holding and it should only be done direcly meaning you should buy bitcoin yourself and keep it in a wallet that you can control the private keys. anything else is worthless.

I mine and hold only BTC and consider all the other crypto coins to be trash. Yes, some others like ETH and Litecoin do have value to some folks, most alts are pure crap created by pump & dump scammers.

Of course, and obviously, the best coin to hold is BTC.

And just to let you know, we can directly buy bitcoin without using grayscale though. As the saying goes, not your keys not your coin, so better first learn how to own your seed or private key and educate yourself how to protect and practice security hygiene.

Not going to bash any one those altcoins, but if you wanted to invest on them, then go for the prime mover as well, Ethereum.

For Ethereum Classic, Bitcoin Cash, and Horizen, I must say no.  I never hold them because those altcoins are not worth it to hold for me.

Focus on Bitcoin and if you can, put all your investment there for the safest investment among altcoins.  Ethereum (not the Ehereum classic) is might good to hold since it was upgraded to volume two I'm sure it's worth holding because of the unique smart contrast have which is very useful.

The comments above were right, practice first how to store your Bitcoin for a safe wallet and place and Grayscale isn't a perfect place purchasing or holding your Bitcoin.

I have some bitcoin ethereum and other altcoins, I'm not touching some of the altcoins which I believe will have some value in the future, I think one thing is for sure if you keep coins on the top 20 list you will have a good shot at the fortune in the future I keep on saying this all the time, it never fails,
been looking at it for like 5 years now and the price goes up every year.

I primarily have Bitcoin and a few altcoins. Most of these altcoins are actually I earn every month through different gigs. Therefore I do not hold any of those, I basically get them paid into my wallet every month and sell them as when I think the price is right..

Altcoins are risky to hold, if you are in bear market. After bear market goes away, bitcoin will be the strongest survivor and rallies the most. Altcoins mostly lose their price and have worse rallies compare to bitcoin. You can see Ethereum that roughly touched their 2018 all time high but if you hold it in 3 years, you lost in total BTC you used to buy ETH in early 2018. You have an equalizer in USDT but a serious loss in BTC.

Horizen is one of privacy coins and with current drama and changes in policies on privacy coins, I would stay away from Horizen.

Bitcoin.

which coin you do not have?
Everything else.

Since most people here are retail investors, I would be surprised if there was at least 5 people here on Bitcointalk(out of hundreds of thousands) invested in any of Grayscale's crypto trusts.

Just Like you , comes back from long gone ..

What's on Greyscale that cannot be found in Shitcoin exchange ? Majority of altcoins now are in the Market so what's to celebrate about Greyscale ?

This is what i Love whenever Bitcoin Goes Wilder , people keeps on talking Bitcoin solely but when dumping happens its the other way around in which they are pushing

Owning bitcoin and Ethereum is enough for that move. You can add as many altcoins as you want.
But if you don't own that much bitcoin and you're too much a fan of altcoins, you should have think of it and restructure your portfolio through owning bitcoin first.

for now I'm investing in coins that's obvious like top coin ethereum and litecoin until now I still hold both coins didn't sell it even though the price was good because I still believe the two coins will go up even higher even twice the current price while the coins that I hate are new coins that don't have a pretty good development can only do harm and don't invest in coin it

Why should be in Grayscale?
And there are thousands of coins and tokens in cryptos.
So far, I prefer to hold:
- BTC
- ETH
- XLM
- SXP
- BNB
bad, XRP is also still in my wallet.
And some altcoins (some of them are shitcoins also still in my wallet)

It`s quite surprising for crypto enthusiasts, but I really don`t have bitcoins. I had it earlier, but for now I think there are many other coins, which are much more prospective. Nonetheless I have some other coins from top 10 like Ethereum, Litecoin and BNB. I just don`t like bitcoin, because it`s old and uncomfortable to use. Senior`s won`t understand it, but members of new generation like me believe in other coins

Of the coins mentioned in the opening post, I only HODL Bitcoin and Litecoin. The rest I am not interested in investing, because I don't think
Ethereum classic, Horizen, and Bitcoin Cash will give me profit. But don't just believe my words, please all of you prove it by doing your own
research on all the coins mentioned in the opening post.

I only have few coins let's say 6 coins before I sell them off when they were bullish. After selling them off I only have one hold coin now and that is bitcoin.

Well, although there is a saying that it's good to have many eggs in a basket or simply the diversified investments but then in this bullish trend it is better to be a wise investor. Choose a coin to be traded and to be hold for a long term.

Bitcoin exist 10 years ago, it is really old for you? What about gold then? :D

Ethereum also good since it have many holders and will launch ETH 2.0 soon, possible the price will pump shortly. Litecoin is an alternative of Bitcoin and Ethereum, the problem is just not very developed like other coin.

IMO BNB aren't good decision to hold since it's based on Binance reputation, if the exchanges is dead, BNB will dead too.

I have only the legit coins and throw the shitcoins to the hell when i was getting it from doing bounty or randomly bought it from the market. It's not a big surprise to see grayscale is going back again to this business.
I hope that grayscale can try to consider to add the trust service for the more altcoins.

The grayscale trust looks very interesting though

For now there are many coins that we can hold because the value of a coin has improved again, but do not be careless in investing because at the moment there are also coins that only pump for a moment, and we have to choose a coin that already has the potential so that our risk in investing is lighter, and the handle for now ethreum and litecoin is the right choice.

Blockchain and cryptocurrency investment advice ranges from insane to brilliant, with many sources urging investors to put their money in bitcoin, a cryptocurrency with a history of price growth and a whole lot of volatility. But many analysts think there will be multiple winners and losers in the cryptocurrency space, depending on the underlying business model.

I hold bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin, bnb, some ethereum classic, trx. But I want to invest in bitcoin for more because I think I already have enough amount for the altcoin, and it is time to move back to bitcoin before the price jump to the high price. I know that holding the altcoin will have a risk, but I am willing to take the risk, and I hope the altcoin season will come this year.
