Title: did i screw up?

new to this made a wallet electrum and thought i bought some coin. hit buy and it came back payment declined by card please enter whatever security code. then i got a phone call checking to see if it was a valid purchase. i said yes but i havent gotten any verification from bitcoin. did i screw something up?

Electrum does not have an exchange option, hence you cannot convert from Bitcoin to fiat or vice versa. What Bitcoin ATM were you attempting to buy from? Were you debited after the attempt to make the purchase?

it was on the bitcoin site i beleive moonpie or something was the facilitator. yes according to the message from the credit card company was that it was approved

You believe? Is there a way for you to be sure?
No one here can help you if you yourself are not sure where you tried to buy bitcoin. Please try to be more specific.

OK, that's a legit site.
Are you sure you entered a valid BTC address from your Electrum wallet?

Have you tried contacting MoonPay customer support?
