Title: What small but promising project have you been following?
Post by: Hamukione on January 14, 2021, 05:04:30 PM
Hey everyone.

I write articles here and there about small projects that I find interesting.
Mainly just to practice my writing skills, as they do need to be polished.

But.. As the title says, are there any small projects you follow that you find interesting?

This can from all sorts of different perspectives, whether it's financial gains, technology development, or simply a meme coin.
Which small projects are worth looking into these days?

Regards,

Hamukione

What little project are you talking about.
I haven't seen any promising small projects on this forum. Often I see big projects, nothing small.

Take a look here.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0

Do you find there are small ones, they are all big, they are not half-hearted, the projects they develop, there are billions of money to be shared.

For now I haven't found what you're looking for, however, if you find it let me know "small but stretchy" ok.

There is a project I once followed since 2018, I actually thought the project was dead because the last time I heard it was only listed on IDEX but after sometime this year it made a comeback.

I dumped my token last 2019 but when their telegram channel got busy I visited it once again and only to find out they become a defi project already. Name of the project is Coinvest.

There are many small gem projects ,i have seen many performed well and some collapse due to some factors that were beyond control of traders and team. I still have some in bag and some as favorites. They include
  • DIA
  • Dego finance
  • Poolz (it will be listed tomorrow)
  • Polkadot
This are mine favorite, it shouldn't be taken as financial advice though.

Payaccept and Amepay can be good, the only risk is that they still need time to develop their products and if they are able to fulfill the expectations of the market in terms of quality and business, they will definitely grow big in small span of time.

Cartesi, Amepay, Radix, Poolz defi, Dia and many more. just visit announcement thread and you will be getting a lot of interesting stuff from there.
You can also to follow the icodrop to get the legit ico or list of new coins these days.

I personally think about radix. It's really promising coin at this moment but DYOR.

The David Chaum's projects. The Praxxis and Elixxir. But I don't have much news about them and also Wozx by Steve Wozniak.
https://xx.network/praxxis
https://xx.network/elixxir
https://www.efforce.io/
Known personalities to be believed as good projects because they've been known in the tech industry.

Im not sure what "small" term that u means, but im following Callisto Network from the beginning and its look it will gonna grow soon. The fun part is i can do staking my CLO while following them, so i get passive incentive every 27 days, not too much but its easy and fun.

Is not it callisto an abandoned project? https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/callisto-network/

See? it has very small daily trade volume and i remember this project got hyped in the past and then it goes down to the hell right now.
It seems like people have been starting to see that soon.

A project is not small as long as they complete their roadmap and deliver good product into the cryptosphere,
Check out on projects that's having plans to list their token on good and high volatility exchange while those can be considered as big projects that will absolutely be successful in the future.
I can't really point out those projects for you because you have to do some due diligent research while selecting the best.

These list are the best so far especially Poolz but I just don't like how they handle the reward for the bounty hunters unlike DIA where they accomplish the distribution base on their promise date. Anyway, looking at their current market status I think it is still good to have these tokens because after the pullbacks, they'll continue to rise because of many development under this project, my top choice are DIA and Poolz.

DIA
Dego finance
Poolz
Polkadot
Sorry mate, but these are not small projects. You should recheck again what OP stated on thread, he was talking about promising small projects.
DIA, Polkadot, Poolz, and Dego are big projects. Just look at what the teams have done and achieved, I didn't see those are small projects. I can agree with @YOSHIE's statement above, the teams spend many funds to rise the projects. They also do big things by choosing big partnerships and listing their tokens on top exchanges.

It should be any coins that related to the defi coins. These days defi coins are booming and so many people and whales are pumping various defi coins.
You should be more specific about what's your reason to call it as a small coin? MCAP, Community or something else?

If you are looking for some new coins to be used as the theme to write your article and it's better to get some new interesting projects like bridge.mutual, maps.me and many more

I expect great profits from these projects.

It is very important to catch such projects these days. Altcoins have been stagnant for a while and a new price spike will surely happen. At this point, we should investigate high potential and small projects well. Of course, we will take some risk in these investments, but we can achieve high returns as a result  :)

big projects start from small projects first, because most big projects are temporary in nature unlike small projects that start from scratch which is much stronger than just getting the hype, I have several small projects that one day could become big even though it's definitely a risk of losing much bigger. including defi projects that are running in BSC such as bscex, cake, and twt, they are all currently on Coinggecko to find out more details.

DIA is a small project? I don't believe that, just because the project isn't in top 10 lists doesn't mean it's a small project, you even list Polkadot as a small project? Come on mate this is wrong, Polkadot is number 4 on coinmarketcap, it beats LTC, XRP, Cardano and other big altcoins

That Poolz you are talking about is already big while the max supply of the token is just 5M. Its price is $15 each token, which is not very affordable for a small investor.  The project also did a bounty campaign here which has issues upon releasing the tokens, they were saying the team had deceived the bounty hunters in this thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5312242.0).

DIA token is been dumped from $4 which I guess is more affordable for now. It must be a good time to buy some.

There are still no major releases and nothing in particular but I'm analyzing the Hive project which is based on the idea of internet 3.0 and we can see this project as a great addition to Eth 2.0. It maybe an idea for the future but with the 5g technology that will probably come into effect this year, we will find this project at a great level.

It's an interesting project.

For me that is $PCX (xchain) they will be the bridge between $DOT and $BTC and $KSM and $BTC.
they are the only one providing this and patented the technology.

DYOR but you will see this has a lot going for it and is not just a pump and dump coin but a coin with the potential to become top 20 from this low cap it has today.
Short ter = 10X
Long term = 500X - 1000X

Kind Regards

They are not born promising, but become. All projects are small and little-known at first. But over time, many of them are gaining popularity. Remember, as soon as Bitcoin appeared, with what skepticism it was greeted. I followed the Tron coin from the very beginning and it did not disappoint me.

I'm not following any project for the purpose of investment cause there are so many scam altcoin projects and those with reincarnation use cases, which makes it pretty difficult to get a project that's ready to build an ecosystem and deliver on its promises, Ethereum is one altcoin that's doing many things right, but since you're talking about small projects, I'll mention Polkadot, I haven't really done too much research into the coin, neither can I categorically give any Investment advice on it, but I've seen a considerable amount of progress on the polkodot network and I think the devs are putting in an awful amount of effort into developing the coin, I hope it is here for the long term, and not a pump and dump thing.

There is a lot of small project now but we do not know what is good to this in the future, Im not following small project now because Im following only the successful project now but if I fount out a small project who is really potential I will going to invest it because those small project once it will turn into big it will gives you more profit or more money if you trust it.

I'm callisto follower too and its not an abandoned project, the problem why daily trade volume is low is because the community not an active trader most of them just stake their CLO to get passive income.
You can seet it here https://explorer.callisto.network/accounts.

The amount of CLO which on Cold Staking wallet is really much, its over than 1 billion CLO.
Also the development of the project is still happen, i hope the price can make a rise soon.

For me it is definitely pancakeswap and their coin cake. Right now it is quite low right now at nearly 1.5 dollars, however it definitely deserves to be a lot bigger. They have their own pools and farms (and lottery and soon nft as well) but they are dealing with all other projects on binance smart chain as well. When you look at their farms for example you will see that there are dozens of different projects that they are giving huge returns for using cake as well. They are making a good amount of income from the LP they are taking from people (they get a commission from it) and that allows them to grow bigger and bigger.

I personally believe that cake can use this platform they have built and get a lot bigger, this is just the start and when people get bored of paying 20+ dollars for each movement they make on ETH they will come to BNB and that is when they will start using cake a lot more.

I have been a fan of DEGO finance but recently, they have. Become a manipulated project by whales, simply pump and dump sh**t.
I have keep my eyes on DIA, they have been growing fundamentally with many partnerships and the team seems to be too focused and popular.
I have whitelist poolz, the circulation is small with lots of development in background, more room to grow on long term.

Doge is not a small cap coin and this coin has become the olders coin in the cryptocurrency.

So many people are saying the same like you when they were seeing the doge coin is increasing a lot. The different thing will happen when people are seeing the dump that happens with doge.
They will think the opposite about doge. I remember the losers will always call that as a scam.

There's interesting defi platform like DIA and many more.

currently I want to increase my portfolio by investing in PROTON (XPR), I am interested in this project because I see the idea of this project is great, the team is always active in providing information and the price has not increased very high, so if I invest in PROTON (XPR) and hold for the long term (until the price goes up very high), then I will get a big profit from investing in PROTON (XPR) at this time, but by investing in altcoin that are not in the top 100 on coinmarketcap, then of course the risk is also very big and of course I am ready for the risk.

KSM for sure is a winner in my book. But you don't have to buy a whole coin if it's expensive. Buy a part. it cans till make you profit down the road.
Besides, you don't have to own 1 bitcoin to own bitcoin. right?

It is better you define what small means in your post, to some people $10 million MCap is small, some will pick $1 million, I even saw in someone's post where he picked Polkadot a Billion Dollar Mcap project. For me any project that is less than $10 million is relative small because when the project hit a  modest $50 million Mcap it is still undervalued

DIA, POOLZ doing very well. POOLZ price is quite high but the marketcap is still pretty small compared to its potential. They have many more inbound developments in the future. DIA project is similar to LINK with quite low supply so I think we are still in DIP with DIA. Polkadot is already in the top 10 projects in CMC and I have added some of them in my portfolio for higher gain in the future.

Im not getting surprised to see that you are saying doge is really promising dude. It's caused by the pump that's happening with the doge coin while when it was not getting pumped and people will be saying that's the shitcoin. People are changing their mind due to the FOMO trend that was happening with doge coin. You are also seeing it as a promising coin to be used as investment based on the hype but you are not seeing it from the usability for the doge coin in long term time span.
That means if people are only taking doge as the short term investment and this is not a promising coin for longterm.

I am not the kind that likes to follow small coins, I hardly do that. All the coins I have in my portfolio are already big coins that I know that I can trust. But there is one small coin or token that I have been following for the past five days now. I first discovered this coin in early 2020 and the network very small then, I didn’t pick any interest in it so I abandoned it.

But, just last week my friend told me that there is a crypto coin that he will like to introduce to me, and he mentioned it, the name is Pi Network, he then told me that he has been mining it for some weeks now and thinks he should let me know about it. I let him know that I have come across the coin once, so I have decide to register for the network and start mining it with my mobile phone. The app doesn’t consume battery or cause any heat ups, so I like it. I would like to see how far it would go.

Through the bounties I got little amount of dent. During the previous bull market it grew high and it reached around 25th position on the coinmarketcap. By that time I missed the opportunity expecting more, everything got crashed and this has made me have an eye over this coin though there is no growth.

I'm currently following and studying amepay, polkadots, doge and bnb althought I'm not really sure if those projects are "small" and I don't even know how to define that "small project". Those projects are currently making noise in crypto market that is why a lot of people are getting their attention including me.

I think small means the team behind is not top developers, but the vision and developing progress look promising.
I dont think all the coin u mention above is small. But amepay maybe can be considered as small, cmiiw.

although usually I'm more interested to investing in Ethereum (almost 80% of my portfolio is Ethereum), but for now I'm trying to invest in a project whose price has not risen very high to become a long term investment and I chose dKargok (DKA) project to added in my portfolio, because I believe dKargo (DKA) can provide me with a big profit in the future, even though I know that the risk is also very big but I'm ready for the risk.

Perhaps it’s more appropriate to say a new project. But there are no small projects.
New projects are well managed by the team and make them popular and big, when new releases are on the market.
Like Free TON, ADA, POOLZ, DIA, AMEpay, these are all big projects, but they can compete in the crypto industry today.
This is great by adding more potential projects, will add a lot of investors.

YouEngine project! I have been following this project for 2 weeks when bounty started. Although the price of YOUC is below ICO price. Maybe you could think that I participated in this project, but as your expectations and new projects, this project was perfect. I can predict that the price must hit 0.5 USD per "YOUC"

So true. You're right. But I think the OP was asking for gems (as some investors call them) or good projects whose prices are still in cents. That's below a dollar. For me, I like buying cryptos in cents so I can have enough units of it.

OP may want to look at Cartesi and Walton. They are my pick and I strongly believe they will ride up soon once the bull run sets in for alts.

At this time you may also be able to MYD. The project I'm promoting. because at the pre-sale stage at Uniswap you can check that there are quite a lot of enthusiasts. currently more than 100 Ethereum has been collected. For investments that I am currently following Polkadot and also the Union for my long-term investment. but it does not rule out the possibility that I will also hold MYD from the bounty later

A project is not small as long as they complete their roadmap and deliver good product into the cryptosphere
So true. You're right. But I think the OP was asking for gems (as some investors call them) or good projects whose prices are still in cents. That's below a dollar. For me, I like buying cryptos in cents so I can have enough units of it.

I believe cartesi can get a better place in the market. If you look at a strong team I think Cartesi also has good potential. one of the most successful projects in the last year is cartesi, and I also support it. like you, now I also put some money on that project.

I think that there are many small gem projects ,i have seen a whole lot of them perform well and while some collapse due to some factors that were beyond control of traders and team. But right now I still have some that I believe in and some as favorites. Cartesi seems like a small project now but im pretty sure they would be a big thing in the nearest future and i also think Dia and doge are doing well on their own too
