Title: [Scam] Fortune Finance-fake team member photos and plagiarized whitepaper
Post by: Rikafip on January 15, 2021, 09:40:03 AM
What happened: At least two out of four Fortune Finance team members have fake photos and on top of that big parts of their whitepaper are copy/pasted material from several medium articles.

This is Fortune Finance team. Those with fake photos are marked with red square. Chances are that rest are fake too but I couldn't find the original source.

For their CEO&Lead Blockchain "Adam Mark" they used photo of an English actor/model/influencer Daniel Robins

For Eco system manager "Lorraine they used stock photo of a business woman

Since people behind Fortune Finance decided to fake team member photos, why not plagiarize whitepaper too? Majority of their whitepaper is copied from several different articles and then just put together.

Some of the articles used:

Good to hear that you are removing the content of ANN thread immediately.

Usually I would consider changing the feedback to neutral as you are just hired to do this and everyone can make a mistake, but looks like one user had bad experience with previous projects you promoted, and you claimed that this time you did due diligence and that you checked Fortune Finance, while it took me only a few minutes to find their fake team members and plagiarized whitepaper, leading me to believe that you haven't check absolutely anything and that you lied. All you had to do is simple reverse image search via Google Images and you would find that CEO  and one more team member are fake.

Therefore, negative feedback stays as you simply can't be trusted that you will do your job properly.

So far, you are pain, for every project you touch.
I am sure that this time, problems are also only a matter of time.
Not me unfortunately both of projects which i have worked turn out to be scam, but now we were doing our due diligence before picking any project

I was just about to create a scam accusation thread about this project due to its plagiarized whitepapers but good thing you already posted it, Rikaflip!

Most of the time, when a project presents fake team members, chances are that other information and its whitepaper are fake and plagiarized. Good thing you were able to spot this on time!

I have just checked this team is fake & thanks for notifying but i am just bounty manager who got paid for posting ANN & which i have no whatsoever relation with ANN

Before promoting a project, it is your duty to check their website and the contents of the project to assert its genuineness. As the person who promoted the project in the forum, liability will attach to you even if you are not the owner of the project.

Yep, why bother with things like whitepaper when you are willing to take someone else's identity (they keep forgetting that those are real persons) and use it for your scammy project. And all this done in such an obvious and  incompetent way that I have a feeling that an average scammer is more stupid that the people he is trying to scam.

Pls check unfortunately it was my bad luck before this also the project i worked on that i also got scammed if you want i can show you screenshots for complete chat, since in that project i haven,t got paid for my fees also & for this fortune finance i trusted this guy that was my mistake but my intentions was not wrong, since once i have seen this fake team member i have immideatly removed ANN
This has nothing to do with your bad luck but with your laziness and incompetence. Since you had issues in the past with scam project how came you haven't learn anything but instead you continued with the same practice.

Pls check i have removed ANN Already & if you remove my negative feedback that will be really appreciated, since my source of income is this bounty work only
You should have been more careful if this is your only source of income. By the way, have you thought what would happen with the money of those would see your ANN and  invested in Fortune Finance?

Just because I tagged you it doesn't mean that it will stay there forever. These things can change, but for that I have to be sure that you started acting responsibly. For start, stop blaming bad luck.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5208109.msg55286977#msg55286977

This guy also was scamming here before under username bernard12345 and for sure under others also. This is his previous thread:
