If the error persist, the best you can do for now is to import your seed phrase into a better wallet. I will recommend you electrum wallet. Download it from electrum.org and verify it. Then open the wallet and restore seed phrase by importing your blockchain wallet generated seed phrase into the electrum. You will be able to see your balance and be able to transfer the Bitcoin.

Do you have the seed (12 words)?

If you do, you can just import those seeds into electrum (electrum.org) and recover your funds. No password or account needed.

Take a look here in this guide:

Don't forget to press options and check bip39.

If your public address starts with 1, choose legacy. If starts with 3, choose p2sh, and if it starts with bc1 choose  native seg-wit.

No.
Blockchain.com wallet has a very clear security policy.
They  recommend that you follow all security steps to secure your account. One of these steps is to generate your mnemonic phrase, which you didn't.

Quote
Write Down Your Backup Phrase

Your backup phrase is the most important of all security measures. It is the key to ensuring your access to your funds if you forget your password or Blockchain is unavailable

Now, there is very little you can do, as you didn't follow the basic security procedures.

You will need to log in in your account using your created password.
are you using your wallet ID to log in?
Your wallet ID was emailed to you when you created your account. It is your wallet "username". You need it and your password to log in.

If you are able to log in, you need to back up your mnemonic phrase ASAP.

There seeds with many length.

The most common are 12 and 24 words.

Here in this tool you can see that is a wide range of formats.

Based in my experience, multicurrency wallets often use 24 words. I don't know if this is a rule or something like that.

According to blockchains support... "error decrypting wallet" means that the password you are using is incorrect.

The error message “Error decrypting wallet” means the password you’re using when attempting to log in is incorrect. Unfortunately, we're unable to help you re-gain access to your wallet if you've lost or forgotten your password. This is because we don't have access to your wallet or your wallet password.

If you don't have the 12 word backup phrase, then recovery is going to be VERY difficult :-\

Sometimes it could be incorrect password.

Please double check the password again and then Restart your PC and restart your internet and re-login again.
This is right.

I have tried to open my old wallet before and said the same thing when I've input a wrong password. It's either the wallet id is wrong and you have missed or incorrect characters or the password.

Just do it again and input the correct ones if you can still remember them.
