No matter how the currency market goes up or down, we always have a dim idea in our mind. Maybe, it is the idea that supports us. Now, it is time to clarify the idea and share it with the public.

Don't talk about feelings with any currency!

This is just an iteration of the saying about not mixing business with relationship. I do not have one because one motto seems to not fit into any situation. I will try to put one that I think is the best.
"There is a fine line between patience and safe play." It is an iteration of the saying "There is a fine line between bravery and stupidity".

if in one sentence then I just simply say "calm". My reason is that often we cannot control our emotions when we enter the market, ambition with big profits is already a picture in our minds. and in the end it is often out of control and it will have a profound impact on the psyche. trading requires persistence and calm in analyzing every movement, not careless in making decisions and doing some analysis according to our knowledge.
Especially when we see market movements that are bearish, we always experience panic, yes, panic according to each version. so it is very appropriate that calm will be a solution to minimize panic.   ;)

Experience has brought the knowledge of "watch your back". In all I do, it is in my mind to always check behind. Checking behind is not really about the secret things that you don't want others to know but whether you are doing the right thing. Example, if you borrow money to buy a coin, I don't see that as a right decision because your debtor can come knocking anytime and the investment maybe going south in bear by the time.

investment motto? I don't have it specifically, move and take advantage based on that second. the important thing is that you don't get caught easily by the conversation of traps who change your principles when entering the market.

As in every market my philosophy is: buy low, sell high - keep the emotions away - practice sound risk management.
If you have these three you're in the right mindset. If you're feeling anxious, greedy, depressed or any kind of extreme emotion - leave and come back tomorrow.

I do not think we need a motto when entering the market. But I have one single rules that I always try to follow when investing in crypto. Never put all the money in a single project and do not love any single project. I think we are here to make money so very addicted to one single project could risk our portfolio heavily.

This is probably the right mindset we should have as long term investor, its always going to be buy low sell high. Doing it can be a lot harder when one can't controll emotions and it could take over when the market changes drastically.

Because it often happen to me like deciding to sell abruptly, I tend not to watch the markets of the coins I intend to hold for long term particularly the ones I have been staking.

For some reason, when I entered the market, the motto that I held fast seemed to just dissolve, to be honest I think this is a kind of mental test arena where the principles we uphold will be applied or not. and the fact that I personally have not been able to master all of them. mentally ups and downs in me as if I was following the flow of the chart movement :)

**Keep track of the market**
**Keep checking the news**
**Don't buy what you can't afford to loose**
**Don't use credit cards**
**Don't buy at an unstable price**

These are the ones from the top of my head but I think none of it matters since the market is something that we can never take into account.


No motto only profit 😜

The most powerful price movements rally around a perfect storm of conditions aligning in unity. "Searching for the perfect storm." Predicting a hurricane when the skies are still sunny and there seems no chance of rain. Being able to spot those massive price movements, when no one else can, is one method of profitability. But there are many others. Market oversaturation's potential for depleting market returns, can lead investors to searching out ignored/neglected regions of investment. These are two areas I like which aren't much covered so much by investment mottos.

As much as the game changes, it also remains the same. Many traditional and historic investment mottos apply to crypto today.

The same applies even to crypto today.   :)

A simple motto.
"Never ran out of patience and don't sell out of fear."
"Sell when you're profiting."

That might sound simple, but not everyone are capable of holding that feeling while heavily invested on Btc.
And I expect that to continue happening because not everyone is willing to learn from the same mistake.

I do hate WB but these investment qoutes do really inspire me most.

I think I'd use what is probably the most popular yet spammy or even annoying line in crypto: TO THE MOOOOOOON! ;D

That's my motto. Yeah, it's a little bit funny or perhaps even irritating to some but it could also mean something serious in crypto. It means we're going up there. Just hodl on tight and enjoy the turbulence. The way going there will not be smooth but always keep in mind that there's one and only destination, up there in the moon. If Bitcoin falls to $5,000 tomorrow, it cannot erase the fact that at some point in the near future we will be at $150,000.

Maybe I'm not the only one who has this kind of quote but for me this is the quote that I'm using whenever I'm investing.

"Always put money on investment and remove emotions from it".

There are many quotes that we can use in investing like "Be fearful when other are greedy and greedy when others are fearful" and "If you fail to plan then you are planning to fail" but this quote that I said is the one that I'm always thinking since being emotional in investing is very bad for me :).

The main idea in trading that I learned during my short experience is to learn patience and calm nerves, trading requires calm nerves, you must stay away from the emotional influences that cause you a lot of problems, so the best thing to say here is that you have to have iron nerves and learn patience You also learn to control your emotions in order to achieve your goal.

"I may Lose or Win but  HODL is still for Winning"

Actually it is always HODL is the winner in the end, after too many Fun happen from end of 2017 and the phenomenal Dump last March 2020 , People keep criticizing the capacity of crypto specially the legendary Bitcoin.

But all of them fails now as we can see how the Pump happens continuously and makes the Highest value Holder don't expect that soon.

So in all the criticism ?  Now what can you say?

"Be on the right track"

As it always have a mess when there's a bad emotions. I always loss track when  there's slight sideways and had zigzag emotions and greed when having a profit. That I need to change that into a good approach. Good self management and  having a good mindset to be always on the right track and path.

"Trust the process"

Short yet I know many of us will already understand that because there are certain happenings occuring in this industry we are all working with which includes sudden pumps and dumps that makes many of us in here panic. But despite of that reality while we are working and dealing with this volatile market, we must just keep calm and trust the process for we have already gone through many situations like pump and then sudden dump but still being able to stand and recover. It is just a matter of time and patience and all of those will be worth it. Just do not be driven by emotions not to make unnecessary actions that you might regret in the future.

Obviously they were all wrong, and the sad part is that it wasn't even that long that bitcoin was doing bad neither. We are talking about a 2017 peak that was just one month old, and price kept going down after that but it was lower than that just a month before, look at prices on October 2017 and you will see that it wasn't over 7k for that long, and that was broken and even increased to nearly 14k in 2019 as well.

So, we are talking about just ONE year of bad prices and everyone acted like bitcoin was dead, I will never understand why people assumed it was like that. In any case we have increased to nearly 40k now and that is what matters, bitcoin is doing awesome and it has shown everyone that if you hold long enough you are going to end up profiting from it, even if you end up buying at 40k, in few years its guaranteed to give you some profits again.

This is a silly thread, but nonetheless I'll play along:

"Buy low, sell high".  That something a lot of investors don't do.  They wait until the price of bitcoin/whatever to start to skyrocket before they begin buying it instead of buying it when it's already beaten down.  Not that I actually trade bitcoin much, but I certainly don't buy it when it's at levels like this.  Now's the time to either sell it if you're a trader or to be sitting on a big pile of it for the long term.

And as a runner up:  "Don't invest money into bitcoin/whatever that you're going to need next month".  That's yet another mistake I see a lot of people make, and it's also why I think a lot of them sell at prices that aren't ideal.

"The bigger the risk, the higher the reward". I came up with this motto because most of the people nowadays are scared to risk huge amount of money, though it's quite understandable that they are just afraid of massive loss, nothing as grand as you are imagining will occur unless you start risking big. As you enter crypto, you should already set yourself prepared for such instances, there will be time you'll win or lose but what's important is that you learn every downfall you face. Through that you may end up winning more than losing in the future.

Partner of success? When I'm hearing the word investment, there will be also success. This isn't applied to cryptocurrency only but in general because if you have invested something, put an effort into it, analyze it, it'll give you a success afterwards like earning profits and achieving goals. All of those popular rich people also invested in the start on what they think is the best and will probably give them a profit. In cryptocurrency, it's also the same because you're investing for long-term on a potential coin then it will appear a huge profit in the end.

"Never trust 100% of other people's signals" is my favorite investment motto. Because most people don't believe in their own abilities, and rely
too much on analysis from others which is sometimes misleading. So if you want to succeed in the world of cryptocurrency, the best way is to
learn all things about cryptocurrency and do analysis and research by ourselves before deciding to invest. Even though it sounds simple, there are
still very few people who do it right. Because we alone can determine success, not other people.

I only do things that are profitable in crypto even though it's risky, for me nothing is perfect in crypto, but we try to do our best to get profit rather than not doing at all and end up disappointed. that is my motto in investing

I don't really have a motto per se when I started investing in cryptocurrencies. Although I do have a question that I always ask myself before locking on a coin that I am feeling with, "Will my 5 years in the future self be proud of this?" In order to ensure that I am always in the right mind when making decisions Go big or go home so they say. This applies very well in cryptocurrencies that already established their names to the public like bitcoin and ethereum, but for budding coins, this may not work that well

Always buy when people are afraid to buy. That’s it for me and to explain it, it can be at anytime and it has always worked for me, I invest my money when the market reaches the lowest point I believe, and a lot of investors are afraid to buy it and speculating that there is going to be another decrease to a lower price, that’s when I get in and start holding Bitcoin and I make sure I invest with what I have that I won’t bother taking out anytime soon. I’ve been able to use this method to benefit a lot of times.

Getting motivated is something which cannot be triggered but needs to be created by our own. I mean by watching or learning something we can derive motivation toward saving and a greater future. So, if you simply plan for your future then you can get self-motivation easily.

When it's "when you enter cryptocurrencies" I understand we talk about entire crypto market, Bitcoin and all other alts! In this case I advise people to invest in what they believe in! Before you start believing you need to read and learn about a specific coin/token! How everything started, who they are and for what they stand for...their plans for the future!
So my motto is "when you believe in it, support it with your investment, time and energy"! In case you chose the right coin/token you will have a lot of benefits from that in the future! But before that future comes, you need to stay strong and believe in hard times as well... it's a rough road to the top!

If you want a one sentence from me then I must say in a word that my first motto in my investment is that "Buy Low and Sell High". Maybe the motto can be similar to others but it is mine too. Because, I want to increase my investment and this is the way I will make it happen. No other way to invest more from my pocket because it is limited and I can't afford if I loss then.

Not happy to rise, not sad to fall

My moto is "Buy Low & Sell High" but I also buy low to be able to spend more when the price increase. That is the lovely thing about Crypto currencies and the high volatility. You can buy Crypto (BTC) at a low price and within a couple of days those same coins might go up in value with say %20 and it gives you %20 more buying power. (The opposite is also true, because it might drop with %20)

The other thing is, you should never be sentimental when it comes to coins. (Do not hoard it, because you might buy it back at a lower price)  ;D

Believe on yourself because you can do it.

You should give trust to yourself that you can make money like other people. You can get the right investment by searching on the market and hold it for a while. But you need to give your investment time to grow and do not greedy to get the profit because the profit will not always be big, and you should accept any profit you can make. I am sure we deserve to make a big profit, and that will happen soon. We need to be patient and enjoy the process. We do not have to feel bad if we can not make a profit every time we trade or invest.

"Do not put the eggs in one basket".

If you compare to the cryto world, it means that don't put all your money in bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency. The explanation is simple, bitcoin or any cryptocurrency is not stable in price. And if you investing your money, the assurance to grow is not sure. And also your money will be hold until the value did not increase. And if this currency did not become successful, your money will gone because of wrong decision.

My first Motto I tried to follow was "Buy low, sell high" but after a while this got very hard to keep repeating
To achieve the perfect timing is very hard to do and requires constant research of the market. My current motto is "know when to hold them and when to fold them". I am trying to get rid of bad investments as soon as I start losing money now.

Invest as much that you can still sleep at night after you lose all.
Do never invest your friends money. Or suggest them where to invest. Educate them how to find good investment.

I could say " Keep buying, never sell" as my motto. I know it doesn't make sense for most people but I have seen bitcoin grow from under 100 price to over 40k price, so in my mind even if there won't be any increase like that ever again, that just means that bitcoin and other cryptos could grow to be huge in the future nevertheless, bitcoin even if it makes 10x which is about 300k or so and I know it is unlikely but still possible if you ask me, that would make me rich enough to retire earlier.

I have money on other coins as well, smaller coins and even some newer defi projects, which means if they can go up, they have a bigger chance than jut 10x, they could go up as much as 50x if you ask me and those would make my retirement even earlier. So in short, I just keep buying all the time and I will not sell until it reaches to a point where I can retire and never have to work.

"Patience is the key to success" is a motto that I always remember when investing in cryptocurrency. Because in my opinion, patience plays an
important role when we invest in crypto. Without patience we can be a misstep, and can suffer losses. But if we can be patient, then we can get
the profit we expected. Crypto prices do sometimes go up unexpectedly, such as during the 2018 crypto market dump, but in 2020 the market
started to show an increase and finally in 2021 we could enjoy huge profits. This all can happen we have patience when investing.

"Never allow losses to be permanent"
I do believe in this logic especially in this industry. Whenever the market price of cryptos are falling it is not completely a loss simply because the amount of crypto you have invested is still the same, it is just its value which is decreasing, temporarily. Therefore whenever the price is falling, there is only a partial loss. Losses will only be permanent once an investor chose to give up and sell already. And that would be a bad idea. Keep in mind that you entered this investment in order to earn profit. Always remember the purpose for doing something.

Be the Bank, and let savings sit idle until you turn to be a Millionaire/Billionaire.

Actually, I don't have any motto when I entered the investment stage here in cryptocurrency, but I will make my own motto this time. My motto is that "High Risks, High Investments, High Profit" no matter what happens just take the risk on what you are doing, its normal to be nervous about the decisions that you are making as long as you can handle it by yourself, at the end of the day you will be the one to take the risk on every decision that you are making. Don't follow your emotions on any kind of investments because this will be the one to broke you in the end.

Regardless of the rise or fall of cryptocurrency, personally I am always Mr. Nakamoto and a believer in cryptocurrency. I believe that the future of cryptocurrency in the world will inevitably be an important part of the investment field, and I will always insist on holding it.

This is just too simplistic, it is impossible to put the idea behind your strategy in the markets in a single statement, there are people that needed whole books to explain how did they beat the markets and somehow you expect this to be done by us in a single phrase?

This is one of the big problems that I see in this market, I see a lot of people that want to invest in this market and there is nothing wrong with that, but it seems they do not want to make the necessary effort to actually become capable of doing that and they want to find shortcuts not realizing that is impossible, and if you want to improve as a trader then you have no option but to read as many books as possible so you can design a strategy that fits you perfectly.

Hmmm I guess it is "Never FOMO buy/sell", or in other words - You should be able to determine which one of your decisions was bad, but you can't do that if you blindly follow the trend

"A loss isn't a loss until you sell" - This is always my motto when I bought a crypto then it dumps suddenly. It's really tempting to panic sell during this time but if you think carefully you permanently lose the money you invested if you really sell it. If the crypto you bought is a good project and has a potential in the future then it will likely increase again soon. You just need to be patient and wait for the right time that it's getting a hype and becoming a trend to many traders.

Buy low, sell high.
Always analyze by yourself.
Do not go all-in.
etc.

I am sure many others motto we can tell.
But if we want to invest in crypto, we need to know how long we will cash out the investment because that is how we can enjoy our profit in investment, and we can invest in the other things to grow the money.

I think the motto that I'll share is timely about those pump groups. I notice that many new comers have been dwelling and relying with the pump and dump schemes so I say this;

"Don't FOMO and believe others easily. Don't be gullible and DYOR".

Nothing much, just play it safe. I always follow the rule to buy low and sell for the higher price.It has always been working for me and I have not stopped using the same rule every time, and whenever I buy Bitcoin, Ethereum or any coin at a low price I am not ready to buy again when the price starts going up, I only buy it once when the market is cool and at a low price then I continue to hold it till it goes into full bull market and I am very sure that the bull run has reached its highest level for that year before selling and waiting for another good chance to go at it again.
