Post by: Leviathan.007 on January 18, 2021, 04:06:51 PM
Description:
A few minutes ago, someone sent me messages on telegram asking for 100usd. He said, he is @Coolcryptovator but can't access to his computer and he will return 150usd.
I feel sorry for the scammer. He should be ashamed of abusing people reputation to earn 100 bucks.

Ha ha it's another Impersonating of coolcryptovator. I have seen this case here couple of time. People only find to cool for impersonating. LOl
Even How unrealistic offer by the man is ! 50% profit in some hours :).

This system could be a very big one if anybody fall into this and send the fund to the scammer. You have done good that you did not sent him the fund. This why we always should confirm the real person by couple or even triple ways before making any deal.

Do you think scammers really have shame?

I don't think so. They just need some easy money and don't care how actually they are getting it. Sorry to say that they also don't think too much about the amount. You got surprised that someone is using another forum members reputation just to steal 100$ from people but i will not if scammers them try for juat for only 1$. Its their habit and they have no shame for the work they are doing.

This scamer is begging on behalf of Coolcryptovator oh indeed this is very funny and asks a user who is active on BTT and they don't realize that Leviathan.007 is an exposer of scamers this is indeed funny what this scammer did. lol

This case often happens that I see some on behalf of Coolcryptovator, is there already caught in this seduction so that scamers continue to carry out terror asking for money from their victims?

this isn't the first time someone tried to impersonate @Coolcryptovator I remember back in 2020 someone posted that Coolcryptovator contacted him on telegram asking to trade about something luckily the dude contacted Coolcryptovator here in the forum to verify if he was the one who contacted him on telegram and Coolcryptovator said he wasn't.

@OP thanks for sharing

EDIT:
here's the link to the other thread of a person trying to impersonate Coolcryptovator. I didn't realize it was Coolcryptovator who posted the thread.

seeing the way he tried to scam I'd say this is pretty shameful even among scammers not only it is a poor attempt it is also a pretty lazy way to scam people.

This person behind this impersonation is definitely a mainstay in this forum too, the way that that person used a prominent person in the forum is an evidence in of itself. To me, this is not a simple act of just scamming people via impersonation, I think this is some type of defamation campaign against other members of this forum. Good thing that the impersonator messaged a scam buster and which means that whoever that person is, the scheme of impersonating members of the forum is already foiled. Good Job OP.

First of all, thanks for notifying me via forum PM. When I see OP's PM I thought that is an old impersonator. But it's quite surprising when noticed there is another impersonator exist on the telegram. I must say that was a stupid attempt to scam OP, because mostly I have been using this forum via mobile phone, and I believe most of you guys know that. So, if I am active on mobile telegram that means I can still access my forum account as well. If I need any help then I can send PM via the forum, and I don't think I have to return 50% extra. Unrealistic scam attempt so far.

I think there is a scammer team that has been impersonating reputed forum users. So, dealing off-forum is high risk lately, and we can't take such as the responsibility to prevent them. Because the telegram becomes a safe haven for scammers. Everyone should be careful with their funds, shouldn't handover them to a scammer this way.

Thanks, OP once again, keep hunting these scammers. Hope this thread will help innocent users to realize what is going on in this forum and out of this forum.

Lesson here is if you think you are having a contact that claims to be a member of this forum even if he is a regular member here ask him to message you in this forum, always do verification, we do not know each other here, don't fall for sweet words, and don't be to greedy to fall easily, always do your own research always compare and come out with the best decision.
